CHAPTER 20

This criminal is still hurting me, he stepped on the stab wound he just gave me. My blood kept flowing, I endured this pain.

I cried out to endure the pain I felt, blood flowing very much, either from previous wounds or from new wounds.

Alex and Leo heard my screams, they ran up to me. I groaned in pain, my hands were already so limp. But I can't give up, my children are still in danger. Alex and Leo beat up the villain, and a fight broke out between them. I tried to pull Lexi's hand, but I ran out of steam, by the time my hand was about to come off. Leo immediately held Lexi's hand and pulled the two of them up.

A criminal attacked Leo, he bounced very hard and hit my tired body. So that my body fell down, so did Leo. We hung up, Leo held my blood-soaked hand, the other hand held the edge of the concrete wall.

"Alin hang on, don't you let go of the handle!"

Alex, hearing Leo's screams, and the children immediately approach Leo, Ari, who sees the villain stepping on Leo's hand, immediately pulls and beats him. They also fight, Alex immediately holds Leo's hand. She was about to pull him up, looking down, Alex saw me hanging in Leo's hand.

"Alin survive! I'll save you soon!"

Alex yelled at me, I saw his face. I loved that man so much, the man who was always there for me. The man who always pisses me off because of his commanding nature. The man who gave me smart kids. I love you so much Alex Wibowo, I am grateful to have met you.

I don't feel these tears dripping down my cheeks, I don't want to lose you Alex, I love you so much. It seems like less time for us to be together. Blood kept flowing from the wound on my hand, I had no more energy to hold Leo's hand.

"Alin don't you let go of my hand!!" yelled Leo to me.

I am no longer strong, little by little my hand will be released from Leo's grasp. He was still trying with all his energy to hold my hand.

"Alex! I love you so much, take care of the kids for us, live better! Remember the time, don't you go crazy for work. I'm so lucky to meet you, you're my priest. Whatever happens to me, keep living happily, for the sake of our children!"

I'm not strong anymore, finally my hand is out of Leo's grasp. "I love you until the end of my life!" Those are the last words I can give you my priest, I give you my sweetest smile, my dear.

Alex POVs

"Pilgr...!" I shouted and Leo, after seeing Alin fall from a height.

"Mother...!" Lexa and Lexi yell at Alin.

Everyone at the scene fell silent, hearing our screams. All the criminals were successfully paralysed, the new police came immediately to secure the criminals. Lexa runs to the edge of the building to see Alin, so he almost falls, directly on Ari's deck. Two thrashing to be released.

"Let go of me!! I'll save Mommy, she's alive, so let me go Ari!!" lexa's hysterical screams at Ari.

Ari continues to hold Lexa as hard as she can, she does not want anything to happen to Lexa. Lexa kept crying, she didn't want to lose her mother. Lexi was silent as she looked down on the fallen mother, with her warm smile, I was still trying to pull Leo up.

"Dor...!"

The sound of gunfire echoed, out of nowhere the firing came from. That must have been Leo's body. I kept trying to pull her up, I knew she was the one who messed up our lives. But I can't just let go.

"Alex I'm sorry, because all this time I've been making a mess of your life! I don't deserve you to save me, I'm sorry for being this selfish, causing Alin to die! Sorry...!"

Leo immediately let go of his hand from my grasp, I couldn't say anything. I still remembered Alin's words, I didn't know what to say anymore. It felt like I wanted to plunge down and fall beside Alin. But that's my intention, I saw my two children. What if I don't, can they accept all this.
