28. Secret

"Let's remember I wanted to tell you something. But this is a secret, right?" After seeing Riski being busy with her affairs, Hasan said so.

"Yes. What do you want to say?" Ilyas was curious . What secret is it?

"Promise first."

"Yes. I promise," Ilyas grew curious.

"Never ask about Riski's family. It looks like it, but he's really fragile."

"What do you mean ? What's the matter with Riski's family?" Ilyas was curious.

"His family is not whole. His father was in prison and his mother disappeared. "

"really? Why are you in jail?" Ilyas was shocked to hear that. There was a sense of disbelief in his heart.

"Either. I can't possibly do it either. I got some info from one of his friends back in school. "

"Has the truth proven? It could have been a hoax, "Ilyas was growing more and more incredulous. The information obtained feels increasingly doubtful.

"I didn't believe it at first either. I had secretly followed him. At that time he turned to the toilet first before going home . His face looked very sad" Hasan explained.

"Yes already. I just wanted to say that. I want to go back to the front again" Hasan said again before he left Ilyas who had to focus on grilling fish .

After hearing that, Ilyas's mind went awry. It's so sorry for Riski. People as good as that have to keep tremendous pain. Even so he salutes Riski who never seems to complain.

He remembered himself. It turned out that what others felt was even heavier. But he prefers shortcuts to avoid it. He feels like the weakest person right now.

In the rough rain, Ilyas thought about how weak he was. His mind was not focused. Almost the fish he roasted was charred, Fortunately Riski came on time.

"Why are you daydreaming? Focus on the grill first . You work must be professional. Can you?" Riski's voice nagged.

"sorry. Next time not again. I promise," Ilyas felt guilty.

"Yes, no problem . Next time do not repeat again," Actually want to nag again , but Riski tried to understand only. New people usually make mistakes.

"So Hasan didn't say anything weird to you?" Apparently Riski didn't hear what Hasan said. Relieved the taste in Ilyas' heart.

"So he's gonna hang out" Ilyas lied. Better than breaking a promise.

"That's doang?"

"Yes. Why apparently?"

"No," After saying so, Riski immediately left Ilyas alone.

Who left alone felt strange to see his behavior. Riski doesn't usually suspect Hasan. But yeah, that's none of his business. As long as it is not a serious matter it is better not to interfere.

The rain finally subsided as the last roasted fish was picked up by Ilyas. Today it seems that the grill is more perfect than yesterday although there are some that are almost charred. He hopes tomorrow will be more perfect than today. After this, there was more work waiting for him.

He has a feeling, today everything will go well. He hopes that not only the day, until tomorrow and anytime will always run smoothly.
