Chapter 13

As Cio had promised, once Bern was willing to work on him he would instantly order people to start looking up about Renata. The investigation began at the site of the accident three years ago. Why should that place? Because Cio wants to. Hehe.

“Ah, patience first, dear. Don't rush. Okay?” said Cio while holding the hand of the woman who was creeping into the forbidden area. His position was now uncomfortable, so the touch of this woman's hand made Cio feel annoyed. “Sh*t, why should it be tilted anyway. So confused now?”

While Cio was busy with his fun, the phone on the table rang. At first he ignored it, but the ringing of the phone did not stop. This of course made Cio feel annoyed. He gave the woman money and asked her to leave the room immediately. Although Cio can't live without women, he still doesn't like them being around him. Especially after Cio saw who was calling, the more he didn't want anyone else to know.

“Halo, Bern. What's up?” cio asked while crossing his legs on the table.

“I saw Renata this morning. I can't stand it, Cio.” Bern replied while breathing heavily. “When will you hand over that information to me?”

“Yes geez. I just spoke last night, how can you ask him now? It's crazy what!” sahut Cio was shocked to hear this question of his cousin. He was grunting, somewhat irritated by the promise he made himself. “Bern, be patient for a moment. I told you in a week's time I'd just hand over the information. There are many things to investigate first if you want to know.”

“Listen, Bern. Rather than you being busy chasing after my work, it would be better if you just think of a way to take her son Renata's hair. That way you can help ease my investigation through your DNA test results. It wouldn't be funny if I took the trouble to find information about someone who turned out to have nothing to do with you. Right no?” said Cio tried to distract Bern so as not to disturb him first. And this way it should work. Should have.

Clik. Cio's mouth gaped, not believing that the polar bear decided on the call unilaterally. Really sucks.

“Log in!” cio shouted somewhat irritatedly as someone knocked on the door of his room.

Door opens. A man with a flat face entered the room followed by two guards behind him. Cio who saw that even just rolled his eyes panted. He was annoyed that his sworn enemy was coming.

“What do you want?” fierce Cio.

Karl was silent. He stood by the window while putting one hand into his pants pocket.

Although a mortal enemy, in fact Cio still can not ignore the presence of this annoying man. He went to open the cupboard then took a glass of vodka and poured it into the glass. After that Cio gave it to Karl, while he himself immediately drank from his bottle. Karl and Cio were quiet for a long time. They were busy with their own thoughts while enjoying a drink.

“When does he come home?”

Karl finally opened his voice. Three years ago, Karl's relationship with Bern became very bad. They broke contact, and really did not know each other's news. Karl could have ordered people to find out about his brother's situation. But he didn't because he didn't want Bern to feel distracted. Then last night he received a report from his subordinates that his brother was seen appearing in a mall. Convinced that Cio knew of the man's arrival, Karl decided to come here.

“Not yet a week Bern returned to this country, Karl,” replied Cio. Now the look on his face looks serious, not rancid or annoying as usual. “Why? Do you want to say hello first?”

“I couldn't do. If she wanted to, she wouldn't be able to think of me!”

Karl looked. “When Amora fell I really didn't do anything to her. We were talking, then his body suddenly whipped and fell from the second floor of Bern's house. I was surprised to make the sensors in my body stop working. That's why I just kept quiet without taking any action to help her. You know that, right?”

Cio sighed. He doesn't know what to do now. Karl's position when the incident happened was really very difficult because a lot of evidence led to him. Added to this is the recognition of Mr. Kendra who said that Amora's handover to Bern was due to Karl's threat. This made Karl's position even more cornered, to turn him into an untouched cold figure. But every time discussing this issue, Karl seemed to return like a figure of himself who talked a lot. “I know I'm not absolutely right, I admit that. But that doesn't mean I don't care about my brother anymore. Bern and Flow, I love them so much. Really!”

“Women? You mean Bern already wants to open his heart to other women?”

Cio shakes. He parsed the embrace then placed both his hands on Karl's shoulders. Actually Cio has not wanted to tell anyone about Renata. But seeing Karl who was so tormented by his regret, making Cio so thought to involve him in this matter. Who knows this way the relationship of the two twin brothers can get along like before.

“Karl, a woman named Renata appears with the exact same face as Amora. Whether it's because they're twins or it's Amora, now I'm investigating the matter. If the woman is Amora, then your relationship with Bern can be repaired immediately. You just pray that my guess can be proven true!”

“A-what? Wa-women similar to Amora?”

What's the matter? How could there be such a similar coincidence? And why don't I get any inkling of this? Wh why?
