Chapter 73

The next day, Rania who was getting bored just by being silent began to prepare to be ready for work. He started his routine to work as usual. This morning he was wearing a navy blue blazer suit with a matching blouse. Not to forget he uses three cm heels in milk chocolate and a light brown handbag. After polishing her face with thin makeup, Rania was preparing to leave for work.

He walked to the STAR Group Tower while enjoying the morning air that is quite cool because the sun has not been too visible. Rania also began to blend in with the many workers who passed by because there are many large company companies and stores that have many employees.

Rania then entered the STAR Group Tower and immediately took the elevator to her study room on the highest floor.

The elevator door opened and he walked straight to his desk in front of the CEO's office.

"Sir Anita?!" rania exclaimed in surprise as she saw her senior in front of her desk.

"Hey Rania! How are you doing? Are you better?" anita asked as she stood up and hugged Rania.

"My news is good" said Rania when Anita had released her embrace. "But why are you at my desk?" ask Rania wonder.

"Lohs... Aren't you told by Mr. Vero or Assistant Jeff?" anita asked back because her junior seemed to not know what.

"Told what about mbak? I didn't get any info" Rania explained as she shook her head.

"Ehmmm. Since you were treated in the hospital, I was ordered directly by Mr. Vero to replace you as his secretary. He also did not give a clear reason for this change of position" explained Anita.

Based on the rumors that circulated does not Rania have a special relationship with Mr Vero? I thought Mr. Vero told me to replace him because they were about to get engaged, but they weren't. Are they in trouble?, Anita asked.

"That's how it is. Well I'll wait for Mr. Vero to hear an explanation directly from him. Oya my stuff so I can keep it where?" asked Rania who saw her work desk no longer have her personal belongings anymore.

"I'm sorry because it was sudden so I didn't have time to tell you, your stuff I kept in the box" Anita replied as she picked something up from the bottom of her desk. "This is all your stuff, I really don't know anything" he said, handing the box over to Rania.

"It's okay, I know that Anita is just carrying out orders from superiors" said Rania smiled and took the box that Anita handed over. Then he sat waiting in the waiting room in front of the CEO room.

Why did Mr Vero come to replace me with Anita's mother? Does this mean Mr Vero that I don't have to think about work? Because he replaced me with another secretary. If I don't become his secretary anymore, will I move back to the administrative division again? Or don't don't I'll be fired!, Rania's mind while shaking her head to expel the thought from her brain.

After all, I never made a mistake while working as his secretary. Even I always obeyed Mr. Vero's orders whatever it was without refuting, his inner self again to convince himself.

Jeff who was driving a car with Vero also got a message from Anita that Rania was in the office and was waiting for Vero in the waiting room of the CEO's office. Jeff who was confused what to say, could only glance at his boss silently silently through the rearview mirror.

"What's up Jeff? Just tell me, if you like that we can not get to the office but in the hospital" said Vero when he saw the behavior of his assistant.

"Hmmm... Look, sir.." said Jeff hesitantly.

"Have said it in person" said Vero.

"Sorry sir, but right now Miss Rania is waiting in your office, sir" Jeff said.

Vero who heard it could only sigh and massage his temples. He felt that today would be the hardest day for him.

No need to wait long Rania saw the arrival of Jeff's assistant, he immediately stood up to welcome the Boss. But he did not see the figure he was waiting for because Jeff's assistant only walked alone.

"I'm sorry, Rania, but Mr. Vero is currently in a meeting with the board of directors and cannot be disturbed. You can go back to work in the administrative division like before" Jeff explained to Rania. Then he went to Anita's desk to get the documents he needed.

"Sorry assistant Jeff, can I wait for Mr Vero first? Because I want to hear an explanation directly from her" asked Rania.

Jeff could only sigh at Rania's persistence and soon passed to surrender the document to Vero.

"Please let Anita continue the work do not mind me mbak. I'm sorry to interrupt" Rania told Anita.

"It's okay Rania, just relax" Anita smiled and continued her work again.

When lunch time arrived, Vero returned to his study. Because he could not continue to avoid and ignore the documents that were already on his desk.

"Sure you're still here?" vero muttered flatly upon seeing Rania still waiting for him.

"My master's been waiting a long time, can I talk to you sir?" rania asked as she followed Vero into her room.

"What do you want to talk about?" asked Vero coldly while sitting on his great chair.

"What's your reason for replacing me sir?" ask Rania.

"Because you have left your job for too long" Vero replied with a cold look.

"But it's because I'm sick and you're the one who advised me to take time off" Rania said.

"That's not a good reason for you to leave your job. If there's nothing to talk about please you go back to work where you were before" replied Vero as if to drive Rania away subtly.

Rania who was surprised even dared to walk closer and asked "Actually what happened? Why did you change like this?" the tananya softly while trying to reach Vero's hand.

"That's because your father is my Papi Killer!" yelled Vero while hitting his desk. "He has ruined my family's happiness and kept us separated for years!" exclaiming Vero with a sharp gaze held back the anger.

Rania who heard it was so shocked that she could only cover her mouth with both hands and shake her head as if she could not believe what she heard.
