The Secret of the Secretary

Chapter 56

When police officers take Olivia in a patrol car, several detectives and Jeff's confidants search the apartment for evidence that may have been left behind. But unfortunately they did not find anything or evidence that the evidence had been destroyed by the owner of the apartment itself.

They then headed to the basement to check Olivia's vehicle after previously carrying the keys from the apartment. They asked the security guards to show them where the car was parked. They also did not forget to look at the CCTV at the time of the incident.

It appears on CCTV that the car had been gone since the morning and had not returned long enough. By late afternoon the car was seen to go inside with no reduction in speed, which looked like it was being chased by something. After seeing that they also moved to see the condition of the car, without them realizing that not long after the CCTV surveillance footage of the car was seen coming out again.

When they see the condition of the car directly, it does not look suspicious. They then searched the inside of the car and took the existing dashboard camera. When they looked more closely there was a bloodstain near the hood of the car. And the paint on the front of the car also looks different from the body of the car, this raises their suspicion that this car has just been brought to the workshop. The car was taken to the police station as evidence.

While at the police station, Olivia still denies all the charges against her.

"Today you went anywhere Miss? Can you tell me?" ask the officer who interrogated him.

"Today I went out to go to my agency" Olivia answered explaining.

"Did you just be there for one day?" ask the detective again.

"No. I went for a walk outside before returning to the apartment" Olivia replied.

"Where exactly are you going to go outside?" ask the detective who wants to know more details.

"Yes I just spin around to get rid of my fatigue. Can't it?" upset answer.

"Of course you can, because that's your right. But I want a more detailed explanation in which direction did you spin that round?!" the detective also gave emphasis.

"Of course I don't remember" replied Olivia's origin.

"Well, so when you turn around at about one o'clock in the afternoon where are you?" ask the detective to try to change the question.

"I told you I don't remember!" olivia's Exclamation.

It looks like this will last a long time and a long time, the inner detective sighed.

"I won't answer your question again until my lawyer comes!" olivia said with annoyance.

"Well, please call your lawyer" replied the detective, pointing to the phone on the table.

"Can't I use my phone?" asked Olivia who wanted her conversation not to be heard.

The detective shook his head and pointed back at the phone. Olivia finally dialed the number to contact someone.

...❁ ❁ ❁ ❁ ❁ ❁...

Not long after, Figo also came to the police station and asked where Olivia was at one of the officers. Then he points towards one of the detectives there who is handling Olivia's case. He immediately went to the detective's desk.

"Sir where is Olivia?" ask him with a breath that stinged after running.

"Let's come with me" the detective replied as he stood up. They walked towards the prison in the hallway.

"Olie!" exclaim Figo in disbelief.

"Figo" said Olivia as she stood up to her best friend.

"I'm sorry sir can't, because he's worried that the suspect might run away. So please you speak here" replied the detective very as he passed leaving them.

The suspect? What exactly has been done by him?, Inner Figo began to ask questions.

"What actually happened? Explain to me Olie" asked Figo who wanted to hear an explanation directly from her.

"I accidentally bumped into someone" Olivia replied in a whisper.

"Oh my goodness, Olie! How could? Who's the guy you hit?" asked Figo with great surprise to hear it.

"It's all because of that damn secretary!" olivia exclaimed furiously "I wanted to make her disappear from Vero's side, but it turned out that the spoiled girl was pushing her instead. Look at the consequences, he was finally hit by my car" he continued increasingly upset.

I didn't expect it to be this desperate just to take Vero. Why don't you just take it off and look at me who is always waiting for you, Figo said in a sad heart.

"Then what can I do for you?" ask Figo.

"Let me be the best lawyer to defend and help me get out of this disgusting place" Olivia replied as she looked around her with a dislike look.

"Well, I'll find the best lawyer who will defend you. But in the meantime I'm gonna ask the detective if you can come out on bail right now" Figo said.

"I beg you to help me. I really do not want to end up in Figo prison" said Olivia while holding Figo's hand, her eyes began to look glassy as if going to cry.

"Well, you wait here I'll talk to the detective" Figo said, returning Olivia's hand and then leaving to speak to the detective.

But unfortunately even though Figo had tried his best, Olivia could not be released with guarantees. It is feared that Olivia as a suspect could eliminate the evidence they are still looking for. Figo leaves Olivia at the police station and returns home.

While accompanying Rania to lunch in the hospital room, Vero's phone rang. He went outside to receive a phone call that turned out to be from his mother.

📞 'Hello Mami, is there any problem there?' ask Vero directly when raising the call.

📞 'No problem Son, Mami just want to tell you' replied from across the phone.

📞 'What news is Mami?' ask again.

Did Mami already know the state of the Princess here, her mind.

📞 'That's why Mami arrived to meet Putri, so now Mami is at the airport for the trip to Indo. Later pick up Mami ya nak' answer from across there that makes Vero surprised and immediately speechless.

How'this? Is it because the bond between the two is strong that Mami has a hunch? But Mami would definitely be surprised to know the current state of the Princess, Inner Vero was anxious.
