Chapter 26

They finally arrived at the new STAR Group Mall development area. They also walked around while waiting for directors and investors who want to visit to see the development of the Mall. Not long ago the directors and investors began to arrive so that they could immediately go around to review the development that has been running more than fifty percent.

After being satisfied to go around and see the results of development that goes by leaps and bounds, they then had lunch together at a restaurant near the beach that had been ordered earlier by Rania as the CEO secretary who helped handle all the work of Vero with Jeff's assistant who did not present today.

Then not only lunch, they can relax to enjoy various rides and entertainment that is widely available around the beach. Even they have rented a large hall to be able to just sing to eliminate the workload. And did not feel the time passed so quickly until dusk almost before they all say goodbye to return to their respective activities.

Only Vero and Rania are left to relax while enjoying the twilight on the beach.

"Haaah..tired today" said Rania who sighed while leaning on the beachside chair provided by the manager for the visitors to relax just enjoy the twilight at the end of the day.

"But it's all done and a great success isn't it?" reply Vero to re-energize his secretary who looks tired.

"Yes I am quite happy that all the things that Jeff and his assistant have prepared have succeeded in satisfying the directors and investors" Rania replied with a smile and closed her eyes.

"I am quite proud to have you two who are always compact and help me a lot in various ways" said Vero praised her and smiled as he looked at Rania's increasingly beautiful face under the twilight sky.

"Can we stay a while to see this twilight, sir?" rania asked as she looked at Vero expectantly.

"Of course, we can't have dinner before we go home either" Vero replied with a smile.

Rania nodded her head and looked back at the twilight at the end of the horizon. "Why is it so charming that sweet smile. Stop pounding like this, it's too far for you to reach. It was just a form of praise to employees who have worked hard" Rania murmured inwardly when she saw Vero's sweet smile.

"What do you want for dinner?" asked Vero arrived in the middle of silence that hit them.

"What if we eat in the outside area, sir? Not beautiful while staring at the stars in the sky" replied Rania giving a proposal.

"Alright it looks pretty good. I was tired if I had to eat in a closed area" said Vero agreed to the proposal Rania.

Finally they ordered a variety of seafood meals available at the restaurant except for shellfish because it can be troublesome later in the end and began to eat dinner in the outside area of the restaurant that looks beautiful because it is decorated with flickering kerlap lights are installed on various trees and corners on the beach. Maybe many people think they are lovers who are enjoying a romantic dinner on the beach, because they seem so harmonious when together.

When he finished dinner, Vero left briefly leaving Rania who was still staring at the beautiful beach because it was illuminated by the moonlight.

"This is for you" Vero said as he handed the fireworks box to Rania who just stared at him confused by the gift.

"May I do it, sir?" rania asked as if in disbelief to see the Boss paying so much attention to her.

"of course. Do it before we go home, so you don't dream about it when you get to the capital" Vero replied "It's not too far if we have to go back again just to accompany you to play fireworks" he continued with a smile mocking Rania.

Rania immediately took the box of fireworks from Vero's hand with annoyance. He then lit two fireworks at once and began to take him running on the beach. He also laughed happily enjoying the sensation of the night breeze that blows touching his smooth cheeks. Vero just smiled at the behavior of Rania who was so happy like a child.

When Rania picks up the fireworks again, she pulls Vero's hand to play with her. Vero who was initially not interested finally came into play after being pulled relentlessly by Rania. without notice the raindrops began to fall slowly soaking the earth. Rania who felt the rain was not running to shelter but still running on the beach while laughing. He stretched his hand to reach the point of rain by raising his head to look at the sky to feel the rain that felt warm.

Suddenly the gray night sky turned darker and thunderous lightning and thunder were mutually unpretentious. The rain had started to turn into a storm with strong winds. Vero was immediately silent and immediately covered his ears as soon as he heard the sound of thunder that did not stop. He tried to close his eyes, holding back tears, trying to eliminate the trauma of the storm that had changed his life. The storm had made her lose her teenage years, her first love even the warmth of the family she had taken away arrived from her side.

In the midst of the rush of rain, Vero also felt that there was a blanket on his shoulder with a coat and the hand was coiled on his shoulder as if he wanted to share all the anxiety he felt now. He also felt another heartbeat beating in rhythm with his heartbeat behind his back. This is the first moment for him that there is someone who tries to calm down and understand himself who is always alone, this also makes his heart warm.

At first Rania hesitated to cover Vero with the coat she wore, but her doubts disappeared when she saw the CEO seemed to tremble in fear as the storm began to come. For the first time he saw the tears of the Boss who had always looked cold and arrogant. Although the tears were mixed with rain water, but he was sure that there was a trauma that was a weakness that had been Vero alone. Rania finally hugged Vero from behind just trying to calm him even though his heart was also rustling to feel their closeness.

For a while they were silent in the rain hugging and trying to digest their feelings in their hearts.
