Chapter 54

Vero who had just finished paying the bill at the cashier immediately rushed out of the cafe when he heard a loud impact. He immediately looked around to find Rania, but unfortunately what he was looking for was not there. He then saw a crowd near the intersection. Vero immediately ran in that direction with a thumping heart.

Oh my...Hopefully nothing happens to Rania, Vero's inner self.

Vero also began to unfold the crowd, he immediately limp to see what happened. He saw Rania who was crying while hugging the brother who was covered in blood. Even Vero who was surprised immediately approached Rania.

"Sister.." said Rania shuddering looking at Vero as she tearfully.

"Calm Nia, I'll call an ambulance immediately" Vero said as he held onto Rania's shoulder.

"I'm sorry sir, but I called the ambulance and it might be coming soon" one of the crowd told Vero.

"Thank you sir" Vero replied, nodding his head. He called his assistant to come immediately.

"Jeff immediately came to the intersection near the office. There has been an accident. Come Now!" exclaim Vero.

Vero then hugged the shoulder of Rania who was still crying while hugging her best friend.

Ngiungdo... Ngiungdo... Ngiungdo...

The sound of ambulance sirens from a distance, the crowd began to pull over to give way to the ambulance passing.

"Sorry ma'am, excuse us for taking care of the patient first" said paramedics trying to get Rania to release her arms to help Ale immediately.

Vero also swiftly lifted Rania's body and hugged her to calm Rania who was still trembling.

"Master! What's going on?" ask Jeff who just arrived.

"I don't know for sure, but please take care of everything here. Find out who tried to harm my sister! I'm with Rania going to the hospital to see the Princess!" vero gave the order to the assistant. Then he took Rania into his car to immediately leave following the ambulance in front of them.

Jeff was surprised when he saw so much blood on the asphalt around him. He also saw some glass and metal fragments from an object. Jeff did not linger long again directly call someone to help him take care of all the chaos that occurred.

...❁ ❁ ❁ ❁ ❁ ❁...

Upon arrival at the hospital, the Princess was immediately taken to the Emergency Unit room. Vero and Rania rush to follow the gurney that took her.

"Dok please congratulate my sister" Vero told the doctor who will handle the Princess.

"Okay sir, now please wait outside so that I can check the patient's condition" replied the Doctor.

Finally Vero invited Rania to wait outside the ER. Rania who was still in shock, could not say what was just crying in Vero's arms.

"Aawww.....!" rania exclaimed grimacingly holding back her wound on her arm when she touched Vero who tried to calm him down.

"Are you hurt?" asked Vero while looking closely at Rania's entire body to check for any injuries that might be present. "Your injuries must also be treated" said Vero while looking for a nurse to help him.

"I'm fine Brother" he said, shaking his head.

"No! You also need care" Vero's orders are firm.

Soon the sisters came to them to treat the blisters and bruises that Rania suffered.

"Where are the families of patients who have recently been victims of accidents?" ask a nurse from inside the ER.

Vero who heard it immediately stood up, "I'm Sister. How's my sister doing?" tanyakanya.

"You stay here, I'll be right back. Sister please take care of her" Vero told Rania as well as the nurse who was taking care of her. They just nodded their heads too.

Then Vero rushed into the ER room with the nurse.

"This doctor is the family of the patient" the nurse told the doctor standing next to the Princess' bed.

The doctor turned to look at Vero. "So sir, I've been doing first aid to patients. But because of the patient's history of concussion to coma, then we need the approval of the Father as his guardian to perform surgery. This is because there is a blood clot in the back of the patient's cerebellum and must be done immediately to save his life" explained the Doctor to Vero.

"Do your best for my brother Doctor" said Vero, clasping the Doctor's hand.

"That's my duty sir. Please sign the letter of approval, I will prepare for the operation immediately" replied the doctor, holding Vero's hand back.

"Let's follow me" the nurse pointed to Vero. Soon Vero followed him to sign the required documents.

...❁ ❁ ❁ ❁ ❁ ❁...

Finally, Vero and Rania were sitting in the operating room waiting for approval by family members. While waiting for Vero arrived to see the assistant who was walking hastily approached him.

"You wait here for a moment. I have something to talk to Jeff about. I won't be far away just at the end of the hall, so I can still keep an eye on you" Vero told Rania before going to see his assistant.

"We're talking on the other end" said Vero walking away, as he didn't want Rania to hear their conversation so as not to get more shaken.

"So what did you find?" ask Vero directly.

"I've checked all the CCTV around the cafe and found a red car that seems to have been waiting there since you entered the cafe. The car also does not reduce speed when approaching the intersection, instead it increases speed. I suspect this is a deliberate factor not an ordinary accident. And maybe the target is Miss Rania not Miss Princess, because if you see from CCTV, Miss Princess is seen to be mentoring Miss Rania" Jeff explained to tell me what happened.

"Have you got the police number?" ask Vero again.

"We are currently tracking him with your police" he said.

"Alright, continue this investigation until you get the suspect and why you hurt one of them. I will be here to accompany Princess and also Rania" said Vero.

"Okay sir" Jeff replied and immediately left to continue his investigation.

Who would want to harm Rania?, Vero asked.

Elsewhere in a room in a luxury apartment, Olivia was pacing back and forth with a frightened face. He who had seen that the one hit was not Rania immediately fled before anyone saw and realized it.

How'this? Why did the girl push the damn secretary?, Olivia's mind growled.

"Aarrrgh...! What should I do now!" olivia exclaimed while holding her own head that was dizzy thinking about the consequences of her actions. "I know what I have to do" he continued after thinking, then he immediately rushed to pick up his car keys and left.
