Chapter 23

"Because I. I. I am your superior" said Vero stuttered and confused to answer how.

"It's a fact that Master is my superior, but what does that have to do with what you said?" rania was confused.

"Because it is a command from me so you must follow. Let's just forget about this unpleasant event. But you should always remember my orders!" continued Vero firmly while pointing his index finger towards Rania and trying to divert the conversation that had made him go awry.

"It can't be like that, sir!" his protest was again for not being able to take another strange order from the Boss.

"Why can't it?! That's already one of the rules I made for you!" continued Vero who does not want to be denied again.

"But the man on this earth is made up of the man and woman Master and the man in this world is not just you. After all, I will definitely interact with other men during my work. Just like Assistant Jeff, isn't he also a gentleman sir?" clearly Rania was trying to digest the orders of her superiors that were strange enough to make into a rule. (somewhere Assistant Jeff must have felt his nose itch and sneeze because he got into their unfaithful conversation 😁).

Vero could only be silent looking at the lake while scratching his nape that did not itch.

"What if I run into a guy I know? In addition, are we also going to often have meetings with clients or investors, sir? And some of them are more of a man, if I can't smile later I will be considered an arrogant secretary. Enough Mr and Assistant Jeff just like that" he continued while holding back a laugh when he saw Vero speechless.

"What do you mean?!" vero asked back furiously when he heard his last words.

"Hahahahaha" Rania laughed, "No meaning what sir" he continued, while getting a sharp look from Vero. He also did not continue his laughter when he saw what became the laughing material looked savage like a tiger that would pounce on its prey.

After being silent for quite a while staring at the lake unintentionally Vero's gaze caught a beautiful silhouette of a girl standing beside him. Against the background of the twilight sky, her body silhouette was almost perfect with a beautiful face and the breeze of the afternoon wind that blew playing her hair that had been beautifully scattered. When Vero was enjoying the beautiful scenery of God's creatures, Rania suddenly turned her head and their eyes met in a difficult view.

Finally the Secretary is the one who cut off eye contact first. "Why does he look at me so intensely? Is there something wrong with me? If it lingers for a long time to look at it can be lost my heart later" like that was the contents of Rania's mind while calming her slightly pounding heart.

"Deeemmm... Let me drive you home" said Vero trying to neutralize his heart which also thumped faster as his net was staring into the netra Rania.

"Thank you Mister" Rania replied as she walked following Vero towards their parked car.

"Then what is the result of the rule decision you made, sir?" Rania tried to dare to ask because she was still confused about what to behave like.

However, Vero only fell silent to think of his statement that made him confused himself how to handle his heart that seemed to burn every time he saw Rania smile to the other man in front of him. Finally the problem of the rule was still not resolved because Vero remained silent until he finished driving Rania home.

Elsewhere, in the lounge of a luxury apartment, a woman and a man were arguing over something.

"How could you meet and be so intimate with him" asked the woman inquiring.

"I met him accidentally over the course of several times. I accidentally hit him" replied the man.

"Good, that means you can follow my plan perfectly" the woman replied with vigor.

"My plan is that you should be able to make him fall into your arms so that I don't have to bother to kick the damn secretary out of Vero's office. I just have to find a way to keep another spoiled girl who sticks like a leech to Vero. If they're all away from her, then I can easily get into her life and heart" explains the woman who is none other than Olivia.

"How can I do it Olie!" he cried not to believe "The heart and feelings cannot be forced" said the man.

"Of course, any feeling can be forced, because later in the end as time goes by you will also like it" continued Olivia

The man could only rub his face in frustration "How else should I explain it to Olie" he said furiously.

"You don't have to explain anything, you just follow the plan that I've made" said Olivia trying to convince her.

"But he has helped me several times and indeed he is quite beautiful but I do not know what kind of nature" he said again "I already have a woman that I love, namely You! Can't you ever feel the sincerity of my love?" the man murmured in his heart.

"Therefore you should try to approach him to know the nature of his nature. Who knows, you'll really fall in love with him and just assume you're returning the favor for his kindness that helped you a while ago" olivia still stick to her plan and keep trying to convince the man.

The man appears to be massaging his temples a sign of frustration over Olivia's stubbornness, whatever decision he has made must be carried out without seeing if anyone is injured or not as long as his desire is achieved.

"Let's go Figo, you promised to help me" Olivia said as she clung to her arm spoiled, trying to persuade him.

"But I don't think this is the kind of help you'd expect" said Figo.

"But there's no other way, then I should try it. And you're the only one who can help me because you've known him a little bit by accident. It becomes a plus for you" continued Olivia with a sweet smile.

"Well I'll try it for you" said Figo surrendered to the woman of his tribe.

Olivia smiled triumphantly because she had succeeded in carrying out the plan that had been set.
