The next day as Rania was sitting contemplating on the swing, someone arrived and immediately sat beside her. He who was surprised immediately looked and was about to stand to leave was not able to because his hands were in grip to prevent him from moving away.
"Sit down, we need to talk to Nia" said Vero looking at her and not letting go of Rania's hand.
"Have your hands off me sir" he replied coldly.
Vero let go of his grip and patted the swing next to him for Rania to sit there again. Without saying much Rania also sat with an indecipherable face.
"I was confused where to start" said Vero trying to start a conversation after a long silence.
"Can you start from the lies you do Mr" answered Nia as if insinuating Vero.
Vero who was frustrated to hear it could only wipe his face.
"In the beginning you worked at STAR Group I never expected that you were Nia, the little girl I knew when I went to an orphanage with my mom. But honestly when I looked into your eyes the first time I felt something, it was as if my heart was moved to you. It was then that I looked at your resume and recruited you as my secretary" Vero began the story. "The first time I saw your resume, I thought you weren't the same person because the address of the parlor you wrote was different. I finally let go of my suspicions to you, I should have dug deeper" he continued with regret.
"Then I don't know why your presence is like a magnet pulling on my cold heart. Your always cheerful and smiling attitude when I give orders makes my day more colorful. Even though the orders from me seem strange and made" said Vero when remembering everything.
"I'm doing it because you're my CEO, sir, otherwise I might willingly do it willingly" murmured Rania sarcastically.
Vero who heard it could only be silent while smiling bitterly. "Since when did my feelings for you start to change. I feel claustrophobic when I see you smiling sweetly with another man, I feel like my heart is burning withholding anger when you go with another man without my knowledge. It was then that I began to realize my feelings that had fallen in love with you, but because my mind was still filled with the shadow of the little girl who had also grabbed my attention first. I became frustrated and at the same time my sister invited me to visit Opa and Oma's house. I also thought that it was good to be away from your figure for a moment" he stopped for a moment.
"It was then that I happened to meet Wati's mother at home with Oma. When I visited accidentally I also saw a photo of you with the Princess and I also just found out that he was known by another name" said Vero honestly.
"So as long as we're dating you already know who I am?!" rania was surprised. "How easy it is for you to play with the feelings of others, sir" he continued with glassy eyes.
"I don't mean to play with your feelings Nia, I just want you to feel comfortable and accept who I am now Nia. I don't want you to stay tied up in the past. I was determined to make you fall in love with me again like before" said Vero holding Rania's hand.
"When do you intend to be honest about everything, sir?" ask her again while holding back the tears that were already in her eyes.
"Accordingly a month we're dating! I had intended to tell you the truth when our deal ended, because I'm sure you have the same taste as me Nia" Vero said solemnly as he looked into Rania's beautiful eyes.
"But I'm like the one who ran out of sense when you went missing without any news. That's why I changed my plan to meet you here to coincide with my sister who wants to go home on vacation here" Vero explained the reason he came.
'I'm only on one day's leave, not disappearing. He knows the real situation, Rania.
"So will you forgive me? Can we start all over again?" ask Vero
'How's this? Should I forgive him? Part of my heart still hurts from his lies! But part of my heart wants to take it back!', inner Rania
"I beg Nia! I don't want to lose the person I love for the umpteenth time" she begged as she watched Rania fall silent and begin to shed her tears.
'Remember one thing Nia, holding a grudge will only make your heart ache and deepen the suffering you already feel in your heart', Rania is excited to return to her mother's words before leaving her at the orphanage.
"Well my Master will forgive you, even if the pain of your lies is not gone" he replied in tears.
Vero immediately pulled Rania into his arms, "Thank you Nia because you've given me one more chance to love you" he said. She cupped Rania in the face and wiped her tears "I promise to replace your pain with happiness" she promised Rania and then kissed her forehead gently.
"But can you change your call first?" ask Vero while holding Rania.
"Hahahaha sorry sis but I'm used to the call" Rania replied with a laugh, while Vero could only sigh in annoyance.
"Where is Ale now?" nia asked as she wiped the rest of her tears.
"He was at home, sulking in his room because of me. He was angry at me for making his dear friend cry and stay away from him" Vero replied, clasping Rania's hand.
"Let's go with me" said Vero standing by following Rania.
They finally walked together to meet Ale, after previously saying goodbye to Ibu Wati. He who sees them can already accept the situation smiled.
