The Secret of the Secretary

Chapter 13

"Please watch your words Olive!" exclaiming Vero did not like to hear the words that Olivia made as if insulting Rania. "He's my secretary so it's natural that he comes with me" continued Vero with a restrained anger so as not to cause a commotion before the shooting time began.

"I'm sorry" said Olivia, spoiled while holding Vero's hand

"I'm sorry for him not me" Vero replied as he pointed at Rania with his chin.

"alright. I'm sorry for what I said earlier" Olivia told Rania "Awas I'll just say I'm going to say something to you " Olivia muttered in her heart because she was actually insincere and hurt because Vero was more defending his secretary than defending himself.

While Rania just lowered her head hearing their conversation. Don't forget a pair of eyes belonging to a man who keeps paying attention to their interactions from afar.

Not long after the shooting process was done, after seeing some photos and discussing with the public relations team, Vero also left even though the shooting was still ongoing. He rushed away while pulling Rania's hand which was still focused on seeing the photo shoot. With anger and jealousy Olivia saw them go, she wanted to go but she had to finish her job professionally.

"Where are we going, sir?" rania asked when she saw the elevator go down to the building instead of their office.

"You've followed me" Vero replied coldly as he stared sharply at Rania from top to bottom

"Okay sir" said Rania, bowing her head in discomfort with the look "I feel like that look will want to kill me now in this place" she thought, shuddering in horror.

"Didn't I give you enough money? Is there no more decent outfit" he asked again

"What does my salary have to do with the clothes I wear, sir? Isn't this polite?" rania is confused

"But your outfit is like a STAR group uniform because you always wear it on the same day every week! I'll remember what you wear on each day of the week" Vero exclaimed.

"Why should he pay attention to my clothes?!" think Rania confused "Indeed there are special rules yes sir about work clothes? Because I was told by HR there are no definite rules that are important formal and polite. After all why waste money on something that is only used to cover the body. It is not the main need, it is better to use to buy others that are more needed" he explained again.

Vero finally just silently listened to Rania's explanation which only made him more upset.

Finally they arrived on the floor of the fashion section. On the floor of this mall there are many famous clothing stores with various types of brands for clothing ranging from formal, casual to sport and of course follow the latest fashion and trends today. They continued walking until they stopped at a clothing store that specialized in selling formal clothing.

"Welcome sir" greeted one of the employees with a smile as Vero walked into his shop. He also allowed the owner of the building to sit on the sofa of the VIP room.

"Bring her some women's workwear stels for her to try" Vero ordered as he pointed at Rania.

"I mean Sir?!" sahut Rania hesitated to hear the words of his superior.

"Is there anyone else besides you here?!" reply Vero was still upset at him.

"Give him formal attire suitable as a secretary, along with his shoes and accessories" Vero ordered the employee.

"Please follow me Miss" the employee led Rania to the dressing room. Rania also just resigned to follow the employee and try the clothes that have been chosen. He has also tried several times to model clothes from shirts, blouses, blazers, short skirts, span skirts to pants and not to forget also with matching shoes. While Vero just sit back while enjoying the coffee served for him and once gave a response by nodding or shaking his head when he saw Rania out wearing different clothes. Finally, after it was felt enough to try everything, Vero also ordered the employee to wrap all the clothes he had liked along with matching shoes.

"Take the goods all to the employee mess in room 306" he ordered again while paying the bill. After that, he rushed to the elevator followed by Rania with hasty steps because he was exhausted after trying many clothes earlier.

"How do you know where I live?" rania asked confusedly as she had arrived inside the elevator.

"What do I not know about you?!" reply Vero with a look that is difficult to understand.

"I forgot that he's my boss so surely he knows all about his employee data?" rania thought to herself "But was that not an exaggeration, sir?" ask Rania again.

"You're already my secretary and you're probably going to travel with me when Jeff is busy, so I don't want anyone to put you down" Vero explained

"Okay sir, I understand" replied Rania and they also spent time in the elevator with each other's silence dissolved in each other's minds.

Arriving at the room she occupied, Rania looked confused at all the shopping bag bags that had filled her floor.

"Haaah.my room now feels overcrowded with all this stuff" he said with a sigh of frustration.

"Ease my closet is enough to put all these clothes. But it seems that I should still buy additional hangers and a place to store all these shoes" he murmured while arranging all the clothes in the shopping bag.

"Geez!" he was surprised to see the price tagged on one of the clothes."It can be used to finance my meal for an entire month. What was the total cost he had spent to buy all of this? Indeed, the rich man always has his own way to spend his money without having to think about how the future will be" fill Rania's mind when you know how much the price should be in the run out just for a dress.
