Chapter 36

After a weekend of turmoil between two people who miss each other, arrive at the beginning of the month with a bright morning sunshine. Rania also established herself to accept whatever consequences she had to accept. He walked with a definite step towards his desk, when he was about to turn on his computer arrived when his phone rang. The name 'Mr Figo' is on the phone screen. Because he thought it was too early and the Boss had not been seen in his study, he went down the aisle to pick up the call.

📞 'Hello good morning Rania' said Figo when his phone call was connected.

📞 'Good morning too Mr Figo, what need do you call me this morning?' ask Rania wonder.

📞 'Nothing, I just want to hear your voice this morning' replied Figo trying to tease her.

📞 'Sorry Sir if you have no other need, I say goodbye to start work Mr' reply Rania who wants to end the phone immediately before the CEO arrives at the office.

📞 'Wait Rani.. I want to take you to lunch today, if you don't mind' Figo said without further ado before the call was interrupted.

📞 'Sorry Sir but it seems I can't have lunch with you anymore' replied Rania

📞 'Why can't Rani?' ask Figo who got a rejection from Rania.

📞 'Because... ' has not had time for Rania to continue her explanation, her phone has been snatched by someone from behind her.

📞 'Because I forbid him to go with you or anyone else. Remember that! from this moment on never try to contact or approach Rania, as she is my lover!' threaten the man and immediately end the call with one side.

Figo could only stare at the phone and sigh at the words of a man across the street who he could already guess who he was. He will definitely get dizzy when he has to explain this to someone later.

Meanwhile, Rania who saw and heard directly the conversation could only be surprised and unknowingly her mouth agape as a result of hearing the Boss' words.

"Close your mouth, the flies will enter" he said, covering Rania's mouth with his hands. Rania immediately closed her mouth and could only smile embarrassedly. "Remember what I said earlier, you've been marked as mine!" said Vero firmly while touching Rania's forehead with his index finger. "It's fast to get back to work" he continued, turning around to leave.

"But sir, sorry." said Rania hesitantly calling her Boss.

"What else is it?!" vero asked irritatedly as he turned to face Rania.

"May you give me back my phone" he said slowly as his hand held up asking Vero for something.

Vero also saw his hand which turned out to still hold the cellphone of his secretary. "This take it. I also have no intention to have your cellphone that has been left this time" he said put the phone into Rania's hands and immediately passed to cover up his embarrassment.

Rania just shook her head to see the strange behavior of the CEO. "Although it is outdated at least this phone can still function according to its designation. Why would I buy a new phone, if the old one can still be used" muttered Rania while walking in the opposite direction to the Boss to immediately do her job before the Boss again reprimanded her with that strange attitude.

...❁ ❁ ❁ ❁ ❁ ❁...

At lunchtime, Rania rushes to the company cafeteria to enjoy lunch. At lunchtime like this, the canteen has begun to be crowded by employees who want to enjoy a delicious lunch menu and quite healthy. Rania immediately rushed to pick up the tray and began to wait in line with other employees.

When waiting in line to arrive, Rania's phone rang. Immediately in the lift of the call that turned out to be from the 'CEO of the Tiger'.

📞 'Hello... What's up Mr?' rania asked shortly after raising the call.

📞 'Where are you now?' Vero asked impatiently.

📞 'I'm in the canteen Tuan' replied Rania.

📞 'Of course for lunch Sir' said Rania a little annoyed as she continued forward following the queue in front of her.

📞 'Well, when you're done waiting in line, bring the lunch to my room immediately!" his orders to Rania and immediately ended the call.

"Based on the strange Boss" Rania muttered as she looked at her phone as the call broke without giving her a chance to answer. "Now what else he wants" said Rania upset because his lunch hour is now disturbed.

He finally asked for a double portion when it was his turn to take the lunch menu. He explained to the canteenkeeper that another one was for the CEO's lunch.

Meanwhile, from a distance, Vero smiled with satisfaction when he saw the look on Rania's face that was upset when her lunch hour was interrupted.

"Sir, are we going outside for lunch?" Jeff was confused and finally asked his boss.

"No. I'm going to have lunch in my office" Vero replied as he went to the elevator again. "You go to lunch outside don't bother me" he said again as the assistant followed him to the elevator "If you can eat longer than usual or you find a place far from this office" he continued before the elevator door closed and moved towards the top room of the building.

Not long after, Rania arrived in front of the CEO's room. Because the food tray is heavy and full, he put his lunch first on his desk to eat later.

Geck... Geck... Geck...

"Come in" said someone from inside and he rushed in by holding the door with his feet while his shoulders were used to push the upper door open wide so he could enter with the tray he was carrying.

"Why are you so long. You want to starve me!" exclaim Vero as Rania arranges food on the table.

"I'm sorry, sir, I was waiting in line long enough" said Rania while still putting food on the table. "If you can't resist hunger, why not just eat out as usual. You think the distance of the canteen to your room is close" in his heart he muttered in annoyance.

"Where's your lunch?" asked Vero when he saw there was only one set of lunch menu.

"I had my lunch at the table, sir, let me eat in the pantry" Rania explained.

"That's not necessary, we're eating together here!" vero's orders to him.

Even Rania who was surprised to hear it could only stand silently in front of Vero with her hand still tightly holding the tray.
