Chapter 15

The International Hospital

In front of a room Emergency Installation looks a girl who walked back and forth with trembling hands and a deathly pale face. From inside the ambulance that brought them from the resto unceasingly he cried in fear despite being calmed by health workers many times.

"Are you his guardian?!" ask a nurse

"No. What is the need Sus?!" ask her back

"Can you call his guardian? Because I need patient data to register" explained the nurse

"Well, I will contact the guardian to go directly to the registration table when he arrives. Please wait a moment sister" Rania tried to explain the situation

"Well, if so excuse me Miss" and the sister passed away leaving her

Rania, who was still confused and frightened, immediately contacted Jeff Assistant's mobile number.

"Assistant Jeff hurry to the International Hospital now because Mr. Vero is unconscious at this time" Rania said quickly after the person across the street picked up her phone and quickly closed it without waiting for an answer from the person.

While Jeff looked at his phone confusedly and began to try to digest what he had just heard on the phone. He immediately rushed off as soon as he understood the situation that was going on. Not long after that he was in the IGD room and saw Rania who was waiting with worry.

"What's really going on?!" jeff asked as he adjusted his severed breath as he half ran towards the IGD.

"I don't know because Mister immediately fainted while eating and is currently still being handled by a doctor" Rania explained in an anxious tone. "Can you go to the registration table first?" the question is then "Suster wants to ask Mr. Vero's data so that it can be entered into the hospital room" he explained further.

"alright. Just wait here, I'll be right back" Jeff said as he passed to the registration table.

Not long after, the doctor who handled Vero was out of the IGD room. Soon Rania and Jeff approach to find out how their CEO is doing.

"Mr Vero has a seafood food allergy, especially shellfish, may be in the food consumed last time. Although only a little but it can still trigger allergies, fortunately he was quickly rushed to the hospital so that his life could be helped immediately. Mr. Vero is currently being moved to the treatment room and is still under the influence of sleeping pills" the doctor explained

"Thank you so many doctors for your help" said Rania relieved while holding the doctor's hand

"There's no need to thank me because it's my job" he replied with a smile "if so excuse me first" he continued, nodding his head and passing.

"Let's go to Mr. Vero's room immediately" Jeff's assistant asked

In a VIP room, a sleeping patient is seen with an infusion tube in his hand. Rania approached the patient's bed only to see Vero up close. He felt trenchant when he saw that ordinary cold handsome face that looked pale helpless.

"Can you be clear what's really going on?" asked Jeff who still did not fully understand how an incident like this could happen to his Boss.

"Eheeemmmm." he attempted to neutralize his feelings before speaking to Jeff's assistant and explaining what happened.

"How could a chef there make a fatal mistake like this?" Jeff asked in his heart "Well I'll be there to find out more" he told Rania

"Well, I'll drive this car to the apartment and bring some of Mr. Vero's needs from there. Does it matter if you accompany her until I come?!" jeff

"No problem, I'll stay here until you come" Rania said.

"Alright.I go first" said Jeff as he passed out.

After the departure of Jeff's assistant, Rania tidied up the blanket that covered the man's body and then he pulled a chair near the bed and sat silent while looking at the face of the CEO who was asleep.

"His face was as calm and peaceful as a child if he were sleeping like this. Does he live here alone? No one contacted and looked after him. Does he really feel lonely?" so many questions sprung up in Rania's mind back then, until without feeling he also fell asleep on the side of the bed because his body was tired and tired due to the fear and anxiety he felt throughout the night.

At midnight, Vero awoke from his sleep. He felt the presence of someone, as he turned his head to see a scene that really pleased him. He saw Rania sleeping in her bedside chair with her head resting on her arms. Looking at the beautiful scenery, Vero smiled as his hand stroked Rania's long, unraveling hair almost covering her face.

Vero then took the phone on the next table to contact the assistant.

"Where are you?" vero whispered to not disturb Rania's sleep

"Are you aware, sir?" sahut Jeff was surprised when he received the phone "Thank God you are okay Sir" said Jeff relieved

"Yes I'm fine, where are you right now?" repeat unanswered questions.

"Ooooo. Now I'm in your apartment after picking up the car and finding out what happened. Soon I will be back in the hospital after picking up a change of clothes and some of your personal needs" Jeff replied.

"Well tonight you stay at my apartment and bring my change of clothes tomorrow morning. No need to rush" said Vero while still whispering

"But why Sir? Who will take care of you?" jeff was confused

"Just follow my orders or I'll cut your pay!" exclaims Vero while holding back his frustration.

"Okay sir, I understand" said Jeff lethargic and the phone call was immediately closed from across the street.

"I want to spend this night alone with you" she murmured inwardly as she looked at the beautiful face that had melted her cold heart with her beautiful smile.
