That very night, Samantha and Paul decide to take Maximo home and take care of her at home. The man is always conscious and can breathe normally. Doctors gave him the drug through infusion, a drug that can inhibit respiratory nerve paralysis during Maximo's journey home. A doctor Maximo trust also accompanied the man on the trip.
Maximo was placed in his room. In the room there are already many sophisticated tools that can be used at any time if Maximo needs it. A bodyguard who was sent back and brought the results of the examination on the drink consumed by Maximo at the party.
“Your guess is right miss, the big master was exposed to poison from one of Trycyclo,” said the doctor after reading the results of the examination.
Samantha and Paul compactly exhaled his coarse breath. Nora also looked at her great master with great worry.
“Then what should we do now?” Samantha was again overwhelmed with worry and anxiety.
“We have to find the anti-poison. We only got seventy-two hours to find the cure and inject it into Mr. Maximo.” The doctor's explanation made the atmosphere even more tense.
“Akh shit!” Samantha's mind was completely out of hearing the doctor's statement.
“Do not we have to find first who the culprit is and ask for the antidote?” Anxious Paul spoke.
“We have to do two jobs for that way. First look for the culprit who will either confess or not, then ask for the antidote, which will either be given or not. Do you think it can be done in seventy-two hours?” Samantha asked the man in the wheelchair.
“Akh shit! If only I hadn't been shot, I would have looked for that guy until I met him and proved his crime!” Paul was upset at his own body condition. He hit his arm which still hurts from gunshot scars.
“Don't sulk like that Paul, it makes you look even more lousy and troublesome!” Samantha vented her anger at Paul and the man could only be bowed lethargic with her sense of worthlessness.
“Then what should I do Miss? Where maybe we just stay here and wait for the faster time to run.” Paul looked at Maximo anxiously. The more time they go through, the greater their brilliance if perhaps Maximo is not helped.
Maximo heard a worried chat from the people around him. Not only was Paul upset, he was the same.
“Of course you are still useful. Help me find anyone who sells this antidote, I'll come to him.” Samantha said with unanimous determination.
“Where might miss?!” Paul did not accept. He couldn't have let Samantha go on her own.
“But miss,”
“Enough Paul. All we have to think about now is Maximo's safety, there's no point in us continuing to argue like this. Anyway, I won't stay silent. You do your job and I'll do mine.” Samantha said with confidence.
Paul could only exhale his coarse breath. Somehow he would have solved this problem if not by following Samantha's direction.
The girl no longer wanted to argue. He approached Maximo and sat down beside Maximo. Staring at Maximo's face that looked sad then Samantha rubbed her head with affection. I don't know since when he has a high sense of concern for this man. He was so afraid of something bad happening to Maximo that he was willing to go into a dark hallway without knowing what danger he was in at this time.
Somehow he will return later. Will he come back whole or come home destroyed without rest? All that fear he didn't care about. He will do everything he can to save Maximo.
“Max, can I go for a minute?” samantha asked Maximo, who could only look at her with some strange feeling. The man blinked his eyes twice which meant forbidding Samantha to leave.
Samantha's face furrowed in annoyance, seeing Maximo's response. He knew that this man was worried about him.
“As much as you worry about me, I worry about you too, Max. I'm afraid that I didn't manage to bring the antidote in time. I don't understand, why am I so worried about you? Though this can all make it easier for me to destroy you and master everything. I could have let you die slowly, but something was holding me back and making me go this far. What's wrong with me, Max?” Samantha asked the man who could only blink. His lips were mute and his body was extremely weak it could not be moved. The dashing Maximo was nothing like an undead who could only wait for a miracle to save him.
“Can I go, Max? I still want to enjoy a longer time with you.” Samantha repeated the question. And this time, Maximo did not blink his eyes though. There were only tears dripping in the corner of his eyes as well as the soft words in his heart.
“Don't leave me, Sam. I don't want to die lonely. I love you.” That was the word Maximo said in his heart.
Unfortunately Samantha did not hear it. He could only hug Maximo from the side and occasionally kissed the man's forehead and cheeks.
“You must endure Max, I must have saved you.” Samantha's determination was very round making the tears drip back in the corner of Maximo's eyes.
