Wilson headquarters, being one of the places that have a busy enough to mean. Currently, Wilson is leading a meeting with his colleagues to conduct reconnaissance at the Maximo residence. They are busy preparing a strategy to investigate the existence of Samantha in the mafia residence. This is a pretty good achievement because until now there is an agent who is still alive and surviving near Maximo.
Satellite imaging became the first option he used to find Maximo's residence, which he said was located in the northern forest. The area of the pine forest he searched but the lush pine forest made Wilson difficult to find Maximo's house.
Wilson had also used drones, but at a certain distance the drones were always damaged and destroyed. It was like there was an invisible shield protecting the place from various kinds of reconnaissance. The last thing to do is through direct reconnaissance in the woods north of Los Angeles.
“Samantha said the car was heading north. The road is not too flat and a little wavy.” Wilson repeated Samantha's hasty explanation that night while imagining what kind of condition Samantha was in the car that she said her window was always closed.
“This northern end is a cliff. There's no settlement there. Are you sure Maximo's residence is nearby?” ask one of Wilson's coworkers, named Richard.
“So far I believe in Samantha. He could last a few days inside Maximo's house, clearly showing that he used his wits to secure himself. He also said that when he came out of the residence, he would signal. Make sure our personnel are on guard in the city center and points of places frequented by Maximo.” Wilson expressed his idea.
“Then where do we start? All the modern ways we have done, only conventional reconnaissance that we have not done. But our personnel are limited, it will make it harder for us. Too many have been killed. We have to arrange the strategy properly so that our team can survive.” Alicia spoke up.
Of the personnel who originally numbered above three hundred people, currently only less than half remained. One by one, they fall apart because they fail to carry out a mission to fight Maximo.
“You're right, we should be more careful.” Wilson seemed to be thinking hard. He looked at the placement map of its members. Some points have been marked including the casino that was last visited by Samantha. He's been smuggling people in there.
“According to one of our spies, a man claiming to be Maximo, has been killed by a young man. I'm pretty sure he's the real Maximo. Immediately comb the area and look for as much CCTV footage as possible. Because the first step we have to do is to know the true form of Maximo. That way we will be easier to do a search.” Wilson began to give orders.
“I agree.” Richard chimed in with confidence.
“Alicia, be around town. Monitor the whereabouts of Samantha. Maybe he'll call us and need our help. You should be able to move fast. So for a while, stay in a strategic hotel and close to the business center.” The dashing man also gave orders to Alicia.
“Good. I'll leave after this meeting.” Alicia nodded obediently. Wilson agreed. For him the steps he made this time should be more careful and organized. No more victims should fall.
In a different place, Maximo still works with his laptop. There are some reports of illegal drug shipments that will be sent tomorrow night. He was checking the route that the transport cars were going to take and the level of security.
Behind him was Paul who had stood up and did not move. Though usually the man will be busy to check the route, but this time he did not move from beside Maximo. Like something he wanted to say.
“What's up?” maximo asked giving his assistant a chance to speak.
“Say,” Maximo gives a chance. He closed the screen of his laptop and turned his chair to face Paul who was standing in front of his desk.
“Sorry sir, have you been confident in your decision to involve Miss Samantha in any of our operations?” That question was asked by Paul. Apparently he was worried about the existence of Samantha who was getting closer to their organization.
“You questioned my decision?” Maximo stared at Paul. Only this time did his confidantes look unconvinced by Maximo's decision.
“I'm sorry sir. I am only questioning the function of Miss Samantha who is near us. Is it harmless to our business?” Paul continued his question and this time ventured to look at Maximo who was looking at him.
Maximo was silent for a moment, looking at Paul who held many doubts about him. He understands the anxiety of his subordinates because it involves a woman in his work. Moreover, this woman did not understand the slightest bit about their black world.
Maximo got up from his place. He walks around his desk tapping his finger on the surface of the table, trying to digest Paul's worries. His voice was quite loud as Maximo's fingernail end met Maximo's table surface. Then he approached Paul and sat in front of the man.
“Thank you for worrying about me. But this time, Samantha's problem will be mine. Calm down.” That's all Maximo said while staring at Paul.
Paul saw clearly the earnestness of his master's eyes. More than that, he saw a different Maximo's gaze each time discussing Samantha. “Is it possible that she really fell in love?” paul without being able to express.
Maximo's attitude was completely different. In the past he was very reluctant to deal with a woman because he thought women only hindered his affairs. But this time, Maximo's mind changed 180 degrees. He chose to take full responsibility for his choice. Isn't that very clear on his feelings?
“Master, tonight Mr. Wiliam invites you to dinner at his place.” Eventually Paul switched the conversation on another topic.
“Iya, I know. Please get Samantha down, I'll get her to buy some things.” Maximo's conversation is still back in touch with the woman.
“Good sir.” And Paul can only obey.
