As promised Maximo who wants to invite samantha to go for a ride together, this morning Paul has prepared two bikes in the yard. One for Samantha and one for Maximo. The ladies and gentlemen just finished breakfast. They look comfortable wearing their own sportswear.
Samantha had gone down first while Maximo was still getting ready, taking a hat and glasses for Samantha to keep the woman protected from the scorching sun.
“Good morning, Paul. How are you today?” Samantha greets Paul who looks not very well. He wore sunglasses to cover the bruises on his left eye.
“Good morning, miss. News I've improved.” The man pulled his glasses a little to show Samantha his bruised eyes and put the glasses back on.
Samantha grimaced a bit at Paul's eyes which were still puffy black. “Did Maximo not have a doctor? Why would he just shut up and let you be in this kind of pain? Though every time he always needs your help.” Samantha deliberately spoke loudly for Maximo to hear.
“I have treated it with medicine ointment miss.” Paul doesn't want Samantha to blame her master.
“What's up?” The new Maximo soon joined.
“You didn't call the doctor for Paul?” samantha asked as she took over the hat and glasses from Maximo's hand.
“You're still not healed?” Maximo watches the man in front of Samantha.
“It's been better, sir.” Paul tried to look fine while his eyes still hurt.
“If you can't call a doctor for him, I'll take him to the hospital. So we don't need to play bike.” Samantha took off her hat and glasses again.
“No!” Maximo immediately restrains Samantha's hand from taking off her glasses. “I'll call a doctor for Paul.” Look at this guy straight up. “Why didn't you tell me you were still sick?” Paul's got a scolding again.
“I've improved sir.” Paul felt bad, because he caused Maximo to feel guilty.
“It has improved but not healed yet. And you ignored it.” Samantha looked at Paul and Maximo alternately.
“Why are you fussing over my injured people? Is that really important to you?” Maximo was getting upset. He felt Samantha was too much for Paul who was just an accomplice.
“I don't care about the others, but to Paul I care a lot.” Samantha did not hesitate to answer.
“What? You care so much about Paul? You don't see who you're talking to now?” Ha! This Mafia master is starting to feel rivaled.
“Of course I saw. You're a ruthless mafia lord and you don't care about your men. As for me, I obviously care about Paul a lot because I hurt him. Like I said earlier, if you don't care, I'll take her to the doctor.” Samantha answered with a long sentence.
“Nora! Call doctor!” Maximo immediately gave an order to Nora. Maximo stared intently at Samantha as a form of rejection of Samantha's request to take Paul to the hospital.
Samantha comes to her senses, but after Paul, Nora is the second person Maximo believes in. It is fitting that many of Samantha's questions often go unanswered by the woman.
“Good, sir. I'll call the doctor right away for Paul.” Nora is so smart.
“Good. The doctor's problem is over. What is the problem now that makes us unable to cycle?” Maximo looked at Samantha intently.
“No one bothers me!” maximo's message before he leaves. He rode his bicycle and caught up with Samantha who had preceded him.
After Maximo's death, Paul was stunned. He looked at Nora who was behind him. “You really called the doctor?” Paul asked.
“Yes. I don't want to upset Miss Samantha.” Nora said really.
Paul just smiled a little without chiming in. He did not expect Samantha to care about him and feel guilty about her own behavior.
Passing the paved road through the pine forest, Samantha leads to a plateau. Maximo soon caught up with the girl and pedaled his bike at high speed. Maximo saw, Samantha stopped the pedal of her bicycle, letting it run slowly while closing her eyes and stretching out her arms. For a few moments he wanted to enjoy the fresh morning air.
Maximo just found out that this girl has a high level of balance. He did not fall in that position.
“You like it?” asked Maximo who was pedaling his bike without holding the handlebar of his bike. His balance is also quite high which is important he paddles his bike slowly.
“Yes, I'm like a free-flying bird. Very relief.” Timpal Samantha smiled a little.
Maximo smiled at the girl's expression. Not long Samantha reopened her eyes and held her bicycle handlebar.
“You get into the forest?” Maximo made an offer.
“What's in the forest?” Samantha curious.
“You will see it for yourself.” Maximo chose to get off his bike first and was followed by a curious Samantha. They both led their bikes into a forest that was quite dense and only slightly illuminated by sunlight. The beautiful atmosphere, the smell of unspoiled grasses, as well as the sound of small animals that are mutually unpretentious add to the martyrdom.
Pine trees lined up neatly, like a long tunnel decorated with dewy grass. A deer seemed to run when he saw the arrival of Samantha and Maximo, it seemed he wanted to hide because he realized there was a danger threatening him.
“How many years is the age of these trees?” Samantha was curious about this standing pine tree. He looked up slightly to look up and the tip was completely invisible.
“Entahlah. May be older than our age.” Maximo hit one of the pine trees and some of the fruit fell.
“Maximo, you are so nosy!” Samantha chattered annoyedly, but at the end of it she still smiled.
“Hahahah... I want to prove that this tree is old and many fruits are also easy to fall.” Maximo.
“You just need to say it, no need to prove it directly.” Samantha screeched in annoyance and Maximo simply chuckled.
They continued their steps, entering the forest until they saw the light getting brighter and brighter.
