The Mafia's Asmara Cage

The Mafia's Asmara Cage
SASM - Gamang

Samantha's long steps surround the luxurious William's house. He was looking for Maximo. Every corner of the room he went to, but it was hard to find the man with the broad shoulder. Yes, that's the hallmark Maximo has, broad-shouldered. The most comfortable place to lean.

There's one room down there that makes Samantha quite curious. There were no guards there and the door was slightly open. He continued his steps towards the room.

“Samantha!” Suddenly someone pulls Samantha's hand from behind the wall. The man even smothered Samantha's mouth. Samantha's eyes were rounded in shock when it turned out that the man was Wilson.

“Wilson?” Samantha's voice was faintly heard in Wilson's wide-arm.

“Be quiet, I'll talk. We only have a minute.” Wilson said in haste. Samantha nodded slowly and Wilson slowly passed the clot in Samantha's mouth.

“How can you come here?” ask the curious Samantha.

“I followed the tracker Alicia paired with,” Wilson said. Samantha nodded in understanding.

“Samantha, have you seen the tattoo on Maximo's body? What's it all about?” Wilson asked about it.

“Not yet, I haven't seen it.” Samantha answered what it was. He crossed his arms in front of his chest.

“How long was it? You said it was easy. Why haven't you seen it yet?” Wilson seemed very hasty and emotional.

“Why did you corner me with this?" Samantha turned inflamed.

"You know Wilson, being next to Maximo is not easy. I had to find information about the man and at the same time I had to manage my feelings of great wrath on the man. Why don't you try to help me more and blame me as if I'm not doing my job?” Samantha's getting upset. He looked at Wilson with anger.

“Remember Wilson, besides Gerald is your team, he's also my brother. I am the most sad and lost of you. You should be able to understand me. I set my own strategy near Maximo, but the environment was very foreign and horrified me. Don't you know it's hard?” Samantha spoke at length saying what she had been through.

“You just want to know the results, but the hardest thing is to survive in the middle of a Maximo attack that can come at any time.” Samantha exhaled in annoyance as she looked at Wilson, who she thought was very selfish. He began to feel, the goals of Wilson and himself seemed different. Wilson wants to find out the mark on Maximo's body while Samantha's focus is on finding the real Gerald killer.

“Sorry, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have cornered you.” Wilson began to realize his mistake. She hugged Samantha to show her sympathy. “I should have understood you better, Sam. I was too emotional because I just wanted to avenge Gerald and make Maximo destroyed.” The man whispered in Samantha's ear, and then it was as if he had kissed Samantha's neck.

“You don't have to hug me like this.” Samantha pushed Wilson's body slightly away, making the man let go of her embrace. Wilson's attitude was quite excessive.

Then Samantha looked at Wilson's pair of sharp eyes at her. “I saw for myself, there are people who claim that he is Maximo. Like you said, a lot of people claim he's Maximo. I began to doubt whether Maximo or not killed Gerald. I'm worried about getting revenge on the wrong person.” Samantha expressed her true feelings.

“Surely Maximo, you must be sure, Maximo killed Gerald.” Wilson so firmly said that phrase.

“Then what is the proof?” Samantha hesitates to see Wilson who doesn't seem to be thinking straight.

Wilson took something out of his pocket. A picture, two kids were there. One boy and one girl.

“Is this really Maximo's?” Samantha looked at Wilson uncertainly.

“Ya, I'm very sure.” Look, Wilson's so excited.

“Alright, I'll find out more. You calm down, I'll let you know later.” Samantha finally agreed with Wilson.

“Alright, please notify me as soon as possible. You should get that code immediately.” Wilson told me really.

“Ya, of course.” Samantha confidently replied.

“Then I go first. Take good care of yourself. I'll pick you up as soon as we destroy Maximo.” Wilson kissed both sides of Samantha's head and then kissed Samantha's. Something that the man really doesn't need to do.

“Ya, sure.” For a while Samantha just let Wilson do what she wants.

Wilson is leaving. He slipped between the rooms in the house.

“Photo is evidence, then why is it in Wilson's wallet and not wrapped in plastic like other evidence?” Samantha muttered to herself. He was trying to figure out what Wilson had been doing all this time.

Satisfied with the contents of the head that was like a tangled thread, Samantha immediately came out of her hiding place. But just one step out of hiding, Samantha immediately retreated again when it turned out Maximo came out of the room with William. Samantha went back to hiding behind a wall and stayed there for a while.

“Why do you want to do that, Max? You started piquing with those fake Maximo?” A little conversation the two men can hear Samantha and this is a stroke of luck.

“Yes, I'm tired of being made a scapegoat for mistakes I didn't make.” Maximo said with full assertiveness to make Samantha listen to the chatter of the two men.

“But, doesn't that also help you to hide yourself? Farmers will tend to find it easier to find bamboo that grows straight and bamboo that looks normal ducking. The existence of the fake Maximo really disguises you.” William made an analogy that Samantha could still understand.

“Yes, but I also have to face the consequences of something they accuse of in Maximo's name. You remember Nicholas who was once your confidant? He disguised himself as me and made a mess at the casino,” Maximo explained.

“Yes, I heard you killed him. You're too sadistic Max.” William sipped his drink to ease the disappointment that one of his confidants was killed and tortured by Maximo.

“It was because of his own mistake. He's too careless.” Maximo was still chiming in and William chose silence. He still felt disappointment over Maximo's actions.

Then at this moment, Samantha was confused. Wilson, on the one hand, firmly believes Maximo is guilty and on the other. Maximo was so persistent in trying not to be proven guilty, then which one should Samantha believe now?

Samantha chose to remove the tracker she was inking. Neither Maximo nor Wilson could he currently believe.
