Lyan stopped beside General Felline who was sitting. He took a few breaths to reduce his tension.
“Em, General Felline,” call Lyan.
General Felline came to a realization from the daydream while looking towards the young man. “Ah, Lyan ...”
“Can I join you?”
General Felline was a little nervous. “Bo-Bby.”
Lyan immediately sat down beside him.
General Felline wondered in his heart what should he ask about the young man's relationship with Yuna? It's just that his nervousness grew bigger when he looked at the young man's face so he couldn't do it.
“Anu ..” Lyan looked towards the woman. “I want to apologize to you, General.”
General Felline looked back at him. “Apologies?”
“Em, I mean ... Tonight's moon shines beautifully, yes! Why don't you let me enjoy it with you, General?” Lyan scratched her head while laughing.
“Ma-Sorry, I didn't know that you liked it too.”
“It's okay, you don't need to apologize, General,” Lyan said as she waved her hand. “Mong-by the way, rather than just spending the night watching the moon, how about we also do a game?”
“Games?”
Lyan scratched his cheek. “Yes, a game like guessing maybe?”
General Felline nodded softly while smiling. “Bby.”
“Well, alright, since you have agreed, I will start with the first question,” Lyan said with a serious look. “Why does the sun sink?”
General Felline was chin-backed, thinking hard to answer. A few moments later he took a deep breath because he could not find the answer to the question. “I give up.”
“You want to know the answer?”
General Felline nodded quickly.
“Because the sun can't swim. Hahaha!” Lyan laughed.
While General Felline only scratched his forehead, because he could not find anything funny about the answer.
“What's wrong with you, General? Isn't that funny?”
“Ah, yes! That's very funny.” General Felline forced himself to laugh.
After being satisfied with the laugh, Lyan again asked the next question. “Alright, the next one .. Why does sea water taste salty?”
General Felline again thought hard but again he could not find the answer. “I don't know.”
“Because of the fish in the cage. Hahaha!” Lyan laughed again.
General Felline just gawked. He really did not understand why the young man could laugh until he was blown away just because guesses were not funny at all according to him.
But when Lyan's eyes were directed at him, he forced himself to laugh again.
“Well, for the last question .. Who shot the air, but who hit the nose. What do you think it is, General?”
General Felline massaged his head, he began to feel dizzy as he was again unable to find the answer to Lyan's question.
Lyan smiled at General Felline's behavior. “How, General? Do you want to give up like before?”
“No, give me five more minutes.”
After five minutes had passed, Lyan could see General Felline sighing deeply. “Time is up, General. Looks like you still can't find the answer.”
General Felline only nodded softly with a lethargic expression. He felt disappointed in himself who still could not guess Lyan's last question.
“Then I will tell you the answer. The one that shot the air, but the one that hit the nose was actually a fart! Hahaha!”
General Felline this time only showed a flat expression when he saw the young man laugh again. Not long after, he began to realize that the young man was currently trying to entertain himself with a strange joke. He finally laughed softly.
“Thank you, Lyan. I feel better now.” General Felline smiled faintly.
“Good. I'm glad to hear it.” Lyan returned the smile of the woman.
General Felline then looked at the moon while breathing fresh air. The nervousness he had originally felt had now vanished so he could talk casually with Lyan now.
“Omong-by the way .. There's something I want to ask you. Are you willing to answer?”
Lyan nodded slowly. “Of course.”
“Is Yuna really your future wife?”
“No, Yuna is not my future wife,” replied Lyan. “I didn't expect him to say that in public either, but I just realized he did it on purpose to stop the ongoing misunderstanding.”
“Misunderstanding?”
Lyan immediately stood up and bowed before General Felline.
“Eh? What are you doing?” General Felline was shocked and immediately stood up.
“Before I want to apologize profusely to you, General,” said Lyan who was still bowing her body. “The problem I let your troops call me brother-in-law and I who also call them by the name of sister-in-law .. All this time I actually misunderstood the meaning of the call. I'm sorry for my stupidity, I made it all a misunderstanding, including you, General.”
General Felline smiled bitterly because he knew the meaning of Lyan's words just now was the same as rejecting her declaration of love. His heart ached but he tried to hide it.
“You're not completely wrong, Lyan. I'm also guilty of not making sure you feel for me first.”
Lyan raised her head, looking at the woman. “No, how can you be sure? All these misunderstandings will obviously make everyone think that I put feelings on...”.
“It's not a big deal.” General Felline quickly interjected, ”I don't think you need to think too much about it so keep feeling guilty towards me, Lyan.” He smiled thinly. “If you continue like that ... I will also feel more guilty to you.”
“And to be honest I feel I should thank you for giving this kind of clarity. About your relationship with Yuna .. About how you feel about me .. Actually, those are all things I want to know about you. I felt so relieved after hearing everything. I also feel fine now .. So I hope you soon forget this matter.”
General Felline smiled widely, while Lyan just looked at him with a flat expression.
“Em, you better get some rest because tomorrow we have to take care of the sea monster, Lyan. I also want to rest so I can get up early. So .. We have to end this conversation now. Good night, Lyan,” General Felline said as he waved his hand.
Before General Felline left, Lyan immediately pulled the woman's wrist. “Don't lie to me, General. Tell me the truth what you really want to say to me right now. If you don't do it, then I won't let you go before you reveal all your heart to me.”
