Early on

Once upon a time when worlds were born in the universe, a black existence appeared within the earth that contained only the ocean. That existence is called Gaia.

Gaia is the earth and the earth itself is Gaia.

Not long after the land rose above sea level. Some large landmasses that were many times the size of other landmasses were named continents, while for countless small landmasses, they were named islands.

Gaia could feel the beauty of the trees and plants that filled the land. Mountains and hills do not escape the beauty. However, Gaia still felt empty as if there was nothing lacking. Gaia had no idea what kind of feeling was haunting her right now. Slowly she found herself lonely. That beauty could indeed satisfy him a little, but none of them could move. Just standing firmly in the same place at all times, made Gaia dissolve in grief.

Gaia's grief is finally treated when humans and animals three times the height of the tree are born within her. The existence of these living creatures makes Gaia's life more colorful. The most interesting thing to him is the humans.

Unlike animals, humans are unique. Gaia can see humans continue to develop by utilizing the environment well. If the animals sustain life by preying on anything visible to them, including their own kind. So humans do things differently. Gaia's interest in humans made her take a little form of the living creature. Gaia had no eyes, her body was transparent and filled with a small light like the stars of space.

Gaia's happiness must end when the gods and demons descend to earth. The two races destroyed the entire life of the earth until it returned to the sea.

Gaia appeared before them in anger. In a short time he exterminated half the population of gods who swarmed like grains of sand in the sky. The oldest god, Atem was instantly daunted and decided to withdraw his army. Gaia did not let him, she locked the nation of gods in a transparent bubble so as not to escape.

The first demon was actually shaken to see Gaia could exterminate half the god population easily, but performing such a godlike cowardly act would damage her pride. He then ordered the frightened demons to attack Gaia.

The decision caused a great disaster, more than half of the demon population was wiped out.

Gaia then shut the demons away.

What was surprising was that instead of killing gods and demons, Gaia asked them to make a pact not to disturb her. Instead, they will be allowed to absorb the good and evil of the living being within him which will reappear in millions of years later.

The gods and demons slightly did not understand Gaia's path of mind. Though Gaia could wipe out their nation to avoid this kind of thing from happening again but what that figure did was the opposite, like deliberately letting their people stay alive.

Not a few gods and demons showed dissatisfaction because their main purpose came to obliterate the earth. Yet they realized their strength was still far from enough to surpass Gaia, there was nothing they could do now.

Gaia said if there was a small group of them who broke the covenant, she would not exterminate the nation of gods and demons. But in exchange he would annihilate the dissident group.

Many of them frowned, this agreement did not look burdensome to them even their side seemed to benefit more. Of course the annihilation of dissident groups would be unfortunate but that sounds better than their populations going extinct.

After agreeing to the agreement, they then returned to their respective realms.

Gaia smiled for a moment at their departure. Leaving the two nations alive would indeed be a big problem, Gaia realized that someday this incident would reoccur after the gods and demons strengthened themselves.

But what the two nations do not know, the agreement made by Gaia will make them dependent. By absorbing good and evil over a long period of time, their future descendants will find it difficult to survive if they do not absorb the good and evil of living beings in Gaia's body.

This will make most of them will not violate the agreement, but it does not rule out the possibility that there is a party who will violate because their goal is to destroy him.

In addition to making gods and demons dependent on the nature of the living being to be reborn in her, Gaia will utilize the particles of gods and demons left behind while absorbing the properties of the living being within her.

The particles will be used as the source of the power of their living beings so that their good and evil are not absorbed in vain by gods and demons.

While demonic beasts undergo evolution that can make them talk and have human-equivalent intelligence, immortality is also obtained by them.

It was not long before Gaia regretted letting the god and demon particles unite with the living beings within her.
