The Continent of Light
After successfully defeating Astaroth and unleashing the curse of the Population of the Continent of Light, Lyan and his comrades regrouped on the hill. The ancient tribe greeted them with great excitement. They also held a big party to celebrate this victory.
Having managed to reunite all the pieces of the Gyo Master's soul that were their main purpose coming to this continent, Lyan was about to invite his comrades to immediately return to the Dark Continent. But realizing now that everyone was happy, he decided to postpone it. Because according to him his colleagues have faced various difficulties for several months on this continent, there is no harm in giving them time to have fun to unwind their fatigue.
A few days later, Venom came to the hill with his army. Hundreds of thousands of people seemed to fill the sky that night, leaving most members of the ancient tribe tense.
Lyan asked everyone to calm down. Together with Hex and the tribe leader, the three of them flew closer to Venom.
After a long conversation ensued, Lyan, Hex and the tribe leader then returned to the hill.
Representing Lyan and Hex, the tribal leader conveyed the good news to the ancient tribe members that from now on Venom and the inhabitants of this continent would accept them as a family. Together they will start a new era. Together will build the Continent of Light in a better direction. All the members of the ancient tribe welcomed this good news happily.
Exactly one week later, Lyan finally invited her comrades to leave the Light Continent. His comrades agreed because there was nothing else they could do here.
“First Brother, why is it such a rush?!” Hex looked at Lyan with teary eyes, feeling sad for having to part with Lyan and her comrades. “Can't you guys be here for a few more months?”
Lyan shook her head slowly while smiling. “Our course on this continent has been completed, Hex. There is nothing more we can do here.”
“You sea monsters will soon invade this continent, right? You can help ka—”
“It's enough, Hex.” Venom who is beside Hex interrupts, “That problem we can take care of, there is no need to trouble the hero who has saved us more than this.”
“Really! Why are you being this sweet, Papu?! Don't bother them again!” The tribal leader added. He agreed with Venom who did not want to trouble Lyan and his comrades more than this.
Hex bowed listlessly. Actually the sea monster was just the reason he had made in order to continue being with Lyan and his comrades. Not long after he said, “Then I'm coming with them.”
“What did you say, papu?! If you want to leave the ancient tribe once again, we will never forgive you this time!”
“Ta-But ...”
“But what, Papu?!” The leader of the tribe raised his staff, wanting to feel like he hit the man.
Venom raised his hand, asking the tribe leader to calm down.
He then looked at Hex with a flat expression.
Hex took a deep breath.
“Don't be sad, stupid!” Master Gyo spoke up, “If there is a time we will come visit back here.”
Hex raised his head. “Second Teacher, you're serious, right?”
“Sure. Therefore work well and build a new era with them. Show me that you are a great student of mine who can bring great change to this continent.”
Hearing Master Gyo finally admitting himself as a disciple, made Hex's heart suddenly smolder. “Take it easy, Second Master! I'll prove that I'm not inferior to First Brother.”
Suddenly Hex looked at Lyan sharply. The seeds of competition are burning within him.
Lyan just laughed softly looking at the man's expression. Feeling that there was nothing else to say, Lyan decided to leave the continent now. “Alright, we'll be leaving soon. Take good care of yourself.”
Venom suddenly lowered his head to show his respect for Lyan as well as his comrades. He felt unworthy to let the heroes who had saved them leave without getting any respect. “Thank you, Heroes. Without you, we would not have been able to escape Astaroth's curse and a better life like now would have been impossible for us to obtain. Until we die, we promise never to forget your service. With the new life we have gained thanks to you, we will do our best to build a new era. Come whenever you want, we will welcome you well.”
Soon the tribal leader, Hex and the inhabitants of the continent simultaneously bowed their heads to pay their respects to Lyan and his comrades. “Thank you, Heroes! Until anytime we will never forget your services!” shout them in unison.
Lyan and her comrades felt a little awkward about their treatment and could only look at each other. They then conveyed a little farewell to the inhabitants of this continent before finally leaving the Continent of Light.
“Dear yourself well, Heroes!”
“May you be blessed always!”
“We hope good luck always with you!”
All the inhabitants of the continent shouted out sentence after sentence while waving their hands up.
“Second Teacher, Third Master, don't forget to say hello to the first teacher! Perverted tiger, I don't know you very well but I hope you don't misbehave and bite first brother! And, First Brother, take good care of sister-in-law, huh! See you soon!” Hex shouted out loud to the ears of Lyan and the others who had left the land of the Continent of Light. Everyone smiled at the words except Yuna who was embarrassed to be called sister-in-law.
While the Dark Side who was watching from the darkness muttered softly. “The Light Side, I have made you become like a god who can absorb the good side of living things. Initially you can only absorb the good side in a radius of tens of meters, but thanks to the ancient tribe for these few months, now you are able to absorb the good side in a radius of almost a hundred meters.”
“Although it is still far from the abilities of the gods who can absorb the good side of all living things of the earth .. at least after coming out of this continent, your absorbing ability will increase again and again. I will do my best to have the ability to absorb you on par with the gods. If that time has arrived..” The Dark Side smiles thinly. “I'm sure you'll soon acquire the first memory of our lives.”
