The Legend Of Lyan 2

The Legend Of Lyan 2
Mind Burden

After the light dimmed, Lyan could feel the aura of the life of this continent's previously nearly extinguished living beings re-igniting and blazing heavily. Marking the inhabitants of this continent had been detached from the curse of Astaroth.

The papu tribe leader who had resigned to his death was suddenly shocked when he saw every ancient tribal army in front of him now their bodies slowly re-shaped. With his mouth wide open he also felt that all of his lost body parts had returned.

“Hah?! What is this, papu?!” So unreliable he began to feel his face and body to make sure that this was not a dream.

Same with the ancient tribal team. After making sure of all that and sure they were not dreaming, all of them cried out happily while shedding tears.

The same goes for Venom. With a shocked expression, he noticed the part of his own body that had returned intact. He did not expect how his body that was only half his head could return miraculously intact like this.

The Dark Side smiled broadly at Venom who he thought was overreacting. “No need to be surprised like that. I already knew you and the inhabitants of this continent will not die because my master will not allow such a thing to happen.”

While Hex who was closing his eyes because he had resigned was still unconscious about this situation.

‘Why haven't I died too, huh?’ In his heart he felt confused because he could still feel himself still in the world. Before closing his eyes, his body was left with only his head. ‘How long was it, anyway? When did I die?’

“Open your eyes, stupid!” Master Gyo hit Hex's head hard, making the man instantly open his eyes.

He was surprised to find Master Gyo whose swollen eyes were in front of him. He also discovers Light is behind Master Gyo.

“Second Teacher, Third Master, why is it here? Did you kill yourself to catch up with your students here?” Hex's eyes glazed over, moved at the thought that his two teachers were willing to throw away his life in order to meet him again.

Light only frowned while Master Gyo hit him back.

“What are you saying, stupid!” exclaim Master Gyo. “You're not dead! Look at yourself now!”

Hex was surprised to hear it then immediately examined his own body. “How could this possibly happen?!”

“Of course all this thanks to your first brother!” exclaim Master Gyo confidently because he thinks no one else can do this.

“The first sister was really great!” Hex immediately hugged Master Gyo tightly, making Master Gyo breathless. “I have to thank him later! Thanks to it, I can still meet you! I'm so happy!”

Hex took off his embrace then ran towards Light, Light was startled and immediately flew off to avoid the man.

*****

Lyan smiled in relief after feeling the life aura of this continent's living beings re-ignite. But his expression instantly turned cold after meeting Lilith face-to-face.

Astaroth's head suddenly appeared before Lilith. “Yes, I'll be leaving soon. Later we will meet again, Man.”

“I didn't expect that to happen,” reply Lyan.

Lilith simply grinned before she disappeared with Astaroth's head.

After Lilith's departure and the lives of the inhabitants of this continent were saved, Lyan was finally able to breathe a sigh of relief. But something still disturbed his mind.

‘Sial, why did they save Astaroth? Didn't he say Astaroth was an Exile Devil? I hope they don't recover her condition.’ Inner Lyan with anxious feelings. ‘And for the second condition I still do not understand. The damned demon blatantly said that they liked human suffering .. but why did they ask me to save the Continent of Light? And why is it that after overcoming the monsters, they will invite me to the demon tower? What do you want them for?!’

Lyan massaged her head feeling dizzy because after the problems in the Light Continent were resolved, new problems re-emerged.

‘Sial, when there is a problem that must be addressed in the Dark Continent .. why problems keep coming ...’

Lyan looked towards the sky, taking in a deep breath to calm her feelings.

‘The problem in the Dark Continent .. I took quite a long time to solve it because it was heavy for me. Since the goddamn devil is adding to my work, I don't know how I should act in the future.’

‘Am I able to solve the problem in the Dark Continent faster in order to go to the Bright Continent? Am I capable of doing it? Or do I just let the trouble happen to the Bright Continent? Besides, I don't know what the demons are planning. Fuck the terms!’

Lyan again massaged his head. ‘ Shit, what did I just think?! Ah, this really makes me almost crazy.’.

“Lyan! Lyan!”

Amidst her frustration, Lyan heard Yuna's scream.

Lyan then turned around and saw the woman flying towards her place with a happy face.

For the past few days they had always found a dead end to save the Population of the Continent of Light. After repeatedly experiencing despair and feeling no hope anymore, with the coming of this miracle makes Yuna unable to hold her happiness again and vented all her feelings by hugging Lyan tightly.

“We did it, Lyan! We made it!” Her tears of happiness could not be contained anymore and just dripped through her eyes. “We succeeded..”.

The woman's warm embrace made the burden of Lyan's mind disappear in an instant. Lyan did not know how it could happen and did not want to know. All of a sudden he did not want to think about the problem that was weighing on his mind again for now, because this kind of warmth was what he needed now.

Lyan smiled as she rubbed the woman's hair gently. “Thank you, Yuna.”
