The Legend Of Lyan 2
About the Three Tribal Leaders

“Speak once more then I will kill you, Zemus.”

Zemus. Although Venom said it with a flat expression, the old man who was still in the shape of an old blob knew him quite well. He knows Venom's threats aren't fooling around.

“Behold I didn't mean to underestimate you. Be honest. In this continent there is no creature as powerful as you but Lord Astaroth. I respect the strong and if I want to do a fight, I just want to face you in top condition.”

The Dark Side did not feel the lies from Venom's words. If it wanted to attack then the man had already done so since sneaking into the transparent shield without his knowledge just now.

Besides that even though he was still able to fight, the Dark Side had exerted full strength when facing Lilia. Using his full strength at the time when Youl had not become a hermit made the body he controlled now experience fatigue so his blunt senses were unaware of Venom's presence.

The Dark Side tried to hide his weakness, but he did not expect the man wearing the blindfold he had just met to notice it. The man was clearly not going to be easy to deal with in his current condition.

“Alright, but with one condition.”

“Tell me.”

The Dark Side's eyes glanced towards the land, its eyes moving like it was looking for someone among the troops on the ground who had stopped fighting.

“Those people I won't let go of.”

The Dark Side grinned as his gaze fell on Joe. The man suddenly felt suffocated and lifted up. The faces of the opposing forces paled at the event.

Zemus disagreed because Joe was his right-hand man. “Ka—”

But his words were held back because Venom put a huge pressure on him.

“How? Do you agree?”

Joe who was thrashing with a pale-looking face was already in front of the tiger.

Venom doesn't understand why the Dark Side is interested in Joe. But he doesn't care. There was no reason for him to refuse than to lose the more valuable Lilia and Zemus.

Venom agreed.

“We will meet again.” Venom teleported to Lilia's place and immediately raised the woman's body. “I hope you keep your condition before that time comes because I will exert all my abilities.”

Venom asks Zemus to withdraw the army and then disappears from there. Zemus who had turned back into a human could only stare at the annoyed Dark Side that had captured Joe before ordering the entire army to retreat.

“Life Mr Tiger!”

“Life Mr Tiger!”

The tribal leader along with his entire army cheered their victory. Although thousands of their members were killed, the ancient tribe put up resistance and managed to kill 3x more than the number of their fallen members. All inseparable from the help of the Dark Side that a few months ago gave them enlightenment so that their strength increased drastically. Thanks to the tiger also the opponent was forced to retreat because their leader had been defeated.

But the Dark Side that was still in the air seemed to be unconcerned. I don't know why that guy named Venom is bothering him.

‘Light Side, we will meet the man again after Master returns. Before that time comes I hope you've become a hermit.’

*****

Three weeks later.

After traveling for several weeks, Lyan and his colleagues lately always met with opponents who came in groups. Despite being outnumbered, Lyan and the others were able to overcome them all easily, their pace was not even held back in the slightest when facing opponents who kept coming to take their lives.

Fortunately Hex gave an explanation about some tribes that are not afraid of death so that the curiosity of Master Gyo treated quickly.

“Have you ever met the three strongest tribal leaders?” Light suddenly asked Hex, breaking the silent atmosphere.

Hex nodded. “I also fought with two of them. The first one is called Zemus. He is an old man who has become a Sky Hermit.”

“Old man? Is he wearing a stick?” ask Master Gyo who remembers Zemus.

Hex nodded slowly. “You ever met him?”

“While in the Tree Demon Area, we had a chance to fight with him. He was troublesome but quite stupid because it was easy to be lied to. The old man must have held a grudge against me for having deceived him in order to escape.” Master Gyo laughed softly.

“He's actually not much different from you. When she realized I was stronger than her, she begged for mercy to be allowed to live.” Hex laughed off.

Master Gyo was not happy to hear that. “Obviously different, know! Even though his goal was both escape, begging for forgiveness from the opponent was an insulting thing I would never do!”

“Ah, alright, I trust you.” Hex laughed again, making Master Gyo annoyed at feeling ridiculed.

Lyan only listened in front with a faint smile.

“Then what's next? Is it stronger than the old man named Zemus?” Light asked back. He seemed to seriously want to know about the strength of the three strongest tribal leaders.

“Hm, the other one is a woman named Lilia. He was clearly stronger than Zemus because he was a Hermit of the Universe. I had fought several times with him and our fight was never completed so the winner could not be determined.”

“Means?” ask Master Gyo.

“He has an ability called Doppleganger. Just a slight contact with his Doppleganger would create a deadly explosion."

“And as I recall when I fought him Lilia once said in a week she can use 50 Doppelgangers. Since the ability was troublesome and made my muscles ache when hit by his explosion, I decided to leave the fight.” Hex took a deep breath.

“Say you ran away, damn it. It turns out you're not much different from Zemus.” Master Gyo laughed.

“Enak only! I'm not as happy as he is begging for mercy on opponents!” Hex does not accept to be equated with Zemus. “I didn't run away either. Just leaving the fight because it was hit by a Doppleganger explosion is very annoying.”

“Ah, alright, I trust you.” Master Gyo chuckled, making Hex feel annoyed.

“Then about the tribe leader you never faced, did you find out about him?” Light asked back.

“Hm, he's a guy named Venom. Compared to Zemus and Lilia, I met her most often.”

Hex scratched his head hard. His face looks upset.

“He is the most annoying person! Always popping up suddenly and startling me when I'm doing something.”

“You meet often but never fight? Aren't you enemies?” asked Master Gyo curiously.

Hex again scratched his head.

“How to say it, yes? I don't understand him either. Which is clear among all the strongest tribe leaders, he is the most dangerous.”
