Light Effort

The cold wind blew a little hard that night, hitting the burly body of the man who was leaning against the tree. The man, Light, seemed to be staring at where the black sun was located.

“Black sun is the energy source of this continent.” The man nodded slowly.

“Without the sun my power is limited. The energy source of all my weapons has also been used up.”

The man closed both his eyes. “Then ...”

He slowly opened his eyes and slowly walked forward.

When he stopped walking, he raised his right hand up. Four of his weapons suddenly appeared from behind.

“I have to make a gamble.”

When he pointed at the black sun, the four weapons suddenly shot into the sky at extreme speed, heading towards where the black sun was.

Light's eyebrows shot up when he saw all four of his weapons stalled in the air.

He increased his strength but the four weapons only showed tremors.

Light sighed.

‘True said the fox hermit. I have nothing on this continent. To deploy my weapon in order to reach its destination, I seem to have to use all my strength.’

The muscular veins of the burly man seemed to bulge out, he clenched his teeth trying to make his weapon that was still vibrating in the air to be moved.

Although the weather was quite cold, but the entire body of the man was sweating.

“HARGH!”

After going through a hard struggle, Light finally managed to make all four weapons shot back towards the black sun.

“It's quite embarrassing.” Light rubbed the sweat on his forehead. For the first time he had experienced this kind of exhaustion just from wanting to fly a weapon.

Not long after that he was startled by an overflow of great power that appeared.

After being traced, it came from Lyan.

“What's happening now?”

After a mysterious great power radiance came out from the young man, next a wave of fierce energy emanated from his body. Make the ground surface cracked and the trees fell.

Light even had to be dragged backwards due to that fierce energy wave.

After the rampage the energy wave subsided. Light could see that Lyan's body was fractured.

‘Reconstruction of the body?!’

Light was quite surprised as Lyan managed to enter the reconstruction phase of the body in less than a day. He had already heard the details regarding the reconstruction of the body from Master Gyo, immediately he created a protector so that his disciple was protected from interference.

He then stood before Lyan, paying attention to the body reconstruction process which he thought was quite unique because after going through this process his disciple would immediately become a recluse and be spared from aging.

“I'm getting harder following a fall from my own student.” Light shook his head.

Light's face that had originally seemed happy was instantly changed.

“Ten, twenty, no, there are more than fifty people. What energy waves had Lyan unleashed earlier that had lured them? Or is it my fault for exerting all the power so that they know of our existence?”

Light immediately turned around, from a distance he could see dozens of people flying over.

“Hahaha! It turns out that my guess is correct. There's another human continent sneaking in here.” Someone among them who had just landed in front of Light said so.

“You're pretty presumptuous as an intruder. The other continent humans who set foot here will soon be judged. It's your funeral day.”

After the man finished saying, the three people behind him darted forward attacking Light simultaneously.

A BAAAM! A BAAAM! A BAAAM!

The inevitable fight happens. Although before Light had run out of steam, his opponent this time was at a level slightly below him, making their fight run quite fierce. In the end Light managed to take down his opponents.

“Not bad.”

This time a dozen people advanced simultaneously. Light began to have difficulty dealing with attacks coming from various directions.

The man leading the party laughed in satisfaction at seeing his troops dominate the course of the fight. But slowly suspicion enveloped him when he saw Light insist on fighting even though the fight was already unfavorable to him, the burly man did not even look intent on retreating in the fight.

‘Something went wrong. Under normal circumstances people would run away but this man did not even shift an inch from his place.’

The eyes of the leader of the group grew when he realized that there was a young man behind Light. The man's face turned into a rage realizing that the young man's body had a rift.

“Everyone attacked that young man! Don't let him make it through the process of reconstructing his body!”

‘What?! Body reconstruction?!’ All his followers seemed to be in unison. Their mouths revealed great shock before moving swiftly towards Lyan.

“Do not think I will let you guys!” Light exclaimed loudly, the huge energy waves that shot out from his body managed to push most of the flying ones closer. But there were some people who escaped and passed through him quickly.

Light tried to catch up but they had managed to destroy Lyan's protector.

“Mati!”

At the moment when all the attacks were on him, at that moment Lyan opened both of her eyes quickly. His left eye looked full black while his right eye was full white.

DEG! DEG!

The hearts of all the assailants were pounding quite fast when they saw the young man's eyes. They felt a considerable pressure, their attacks all halted before successfully hitting the young man.

“Sial!” The leader of the group felt bad. He immediately darted forward but before he managed to reach Lyan, one after another light shot out from each crack of the young man's body. The whole place suddenly changed glare.

“Dodging!”

DUAAR!

Several people who were late to follow the direction of their leader were killed in an instant by a mysterious explosion created after a glare light burst into the place.

When the light dimmed, everything seemed to tremble seeing the silhouette of the young man begin to appear from within the puff of smoke.

‘Sial, it's too late. We can't win against the hermit. I'd better report this to the three big tribes.’ The leader looked coldly sweaty before giving the order.

“Everything's backing down!”

The leader's eyebrows shot up seeing no one among his troops moving from the spot.

‘Do not say ...’

The leader's face paled realizing the reason his troops were not moving not only out of fear, but their bodies were suddenly unable to move. Including himself.

Lyan opened her eyes slowly, her previously half-black and white eyes seemed to have returned to normal. Light who was silent watching the event could feel Lyan's power level was now very far above him.

Lyan looked at her teacher who seemed to have stopped paying attention to her with a look of astonishment.

“Let's continue the journey.” The young man stomped his feet to the ground, creating a violent surge of energy.

The leader of the mysterious army could see all of his troops suddenly explode before he turned into a blood clot.
