The Legend Of Lyan 2
Respecting Decisions

Hearing Venom's last words just made Yuna take a beating. Despite spending more time indoors absorbing the spirits of the tribe's gatherers, the primordial tribe's kindness made him feel at ease.

You feel the same way. For the past few months he had spent his time training with the tribe members. Not only practice but sometimes they also share laughter together. This news made his heart hurt.

“Ah, why did you say it fucking Venom ..”

While Hex could only scratch his head after Venom's departure. He was at a loss as to what when Lyan's, Master Gyo and Light's eyes were on him.

“So that's why you said you wouldn't visit the Dark Continent?” Master Gyo looked at him coldly.

“Don't call me third teacher again. I don't like braggars.” Light spoke firmly.

“Second Teacher, Third Master, don't get me wrong! Please listen to my explanation first.” Hex kneels while pleading.

“What explanation? You're going to die if Astaroth gets killed, right?!” exclaimed Master Gyo feeling angry not being told of this matter first. What made Master Gyo even more angry was that this truth he heard from others, not Hex himself.

Although the kneeling man was strange and talkative too much, but he was the mood-breaking man who made them enjoy the journey in these two months. Thanks to Hex who likes to act silly and spread jokes, their sense of tension because they will meet Astaroth is reduced.

“If I tell you, I'm afraid you keep thinking. I want you to kill Astaroth without thinking about this little problem because—”

“What?! Small problem you say?!” Master Gyo's emotions are peaking. He grew increasingly furious that Hex considered his own death a trivial matter.

“Ah, Second Master .. actually if Astaroth is not killed, in the next hundred years also we will die as a collision. We as an ancient tribe felt it was better to die because Astaroth was killed than to become a miserable victim. No one wants life to end as a result. I hope you can understand, Second Master.”

“You!”

“Already, Master.” Lyan approached Master Gyo and held onto his shoulder. “This is his choice. We must respect his decision.”

“But, Lyan ...”

“We must not hesitate, Master. We've decided to kill Astaroth.” Lyan looked at Master Gyo seriously. “Sorry if I talk like this. No matter what happens, we'll still kill Astaroth. I won't allow you to change your mind, Master.”

Master Gyo tightened his teeth before turning his face away from Lyan.

Light just flatly expression seeing the two of them.

While Hex just lowered his head while closing his eyes.

“Sorry, Master. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings.” Finished saying so Lyan left them.

After exiting the tent, Lyan flew towards somewhere quiet. After checking and making sure no one was there, he immediately sat down cross-legged and closed his eyes.

He held his breath for a few moments to waste all the burden of thought that was in his head.

After calming down, Lyan opened her eyes slowly. Looking up at the sky he said, “Azrec, I know you've been quietly watching me all this time. Show yourself, Azrec, or I'll eliminate you now.”

The Azrec soul fragment hiding within Lyan's body was shocked instead of playing. He believed this tiny, hard-to-detect soul fragment could even fool a god like Endless. Seeing that Lyan was able to realize his existence made Azrec who was always lurking sure that at least Lyan was already a high-level Xora.

“I say once again. If you don't come out and still pretend, I'm really gonna wipe you out.”

Azrec had no choice. A soul fragment as small as himself could not possibly defeat Lyan now.

He came out of Lyan's body in the form of a black sphere, hovering before Lyan.

“A-I don't mean bad,” Azrec voice sounds tense.

Lyan's words made Azrec even more tense. He could only quietly listen because he realized that running away would be useless in front of the young man.

“But .. I changed my mind. I'll let you off as long as you answer my question.”

“A-what is it?” ask Azrec.

“You are a high level demon, aren't you?”

“Be-totally.”

“What's your position higher than Astaroth or below?”

“I am an ancient demon who is not tied to any demon tower. But if you want to compare me to Astaroth who once led the 20th floor of Lucifer's kingdom, I am obviously far above him.” Azrec's tension eased as Lyan's question made him able to boast.

“So, you're stronger, aren't you?”

“True,” Azrec replied firmly.

Lyan smiled.

“Then you should know how to undo the curse of Astaroth so that the inhabitants of this continent do not die when he is killed. Tell me how.”

“I-it's beyond my means. Only 7 Devil Sins can do such a thing.”

Lyan's countenance changed hearing Azrec's reply.

“Then, vanish!”

“A-what? Tu-tung—”

BLAARS!

The black sphere-shaped azrec instantly exploded as Lyan sharpened her gaze.

*****

The Azrec that was in the Void Realm gasped for a moment.

“What's up?” asked Emperor X to see Azrec acting like no ordinary person.

“The young man named Lyan ... he has already become a high level Xora in this short time.” Azrec was bluffing his teeth feeling angry that Lyan had obliterated the soul fragment.

Emperor X's eyebrows shot up, he felt extremely shocked. “Cannot …. Didn't you last say he was an Earth Hermit?”

“I don't know how that could have happened. The fragment of my soul was trying to enter his soul space but something was in the way. He just suddenly became strong after coming out of the soul room.” Azrec's feeling grew even more chaotic as he recalled that his soul fragment was unable to dig up any information that occurred within Lyan's soul space

This made Azrec restless. But he realized now he had to focus first on his goal. Azrec tried to calm himself down.

After feeling himself beginning to calm down, Azrec then said, “To reach the location of the three hermits from where we are now would at least spend 8 months of the human world. Since Lyan can become a high-level Xora in such a short period of time, I ask that you reduce your rest time so that we arrive faster. We don't know what's going to happen in a few months. We can only hope he doesn't grow stronger again before we manage to wake one of the hermits.” The Azrec flew faster and faster in a place where only darkness seemed to accompany.

Emperor X followed behind. The news regarding Lyan made her feelings uneasy. ‘Who is that kid actually?!’
