Ajeng POV

My phone rang, just after I ended the call to Anita that I had done so many times, and never got an answer from her. And it turns out Naufal called.

"Yes Asalmualaikum" I greeted him first.

"To Wijaya Kusuma Hospital now, Anita falls. I'm waiting"

One sentence that makes my heart beat.

"Mother, Anita fell, now in Wijaya Kusuma hospital. Naufal told Ajeng just now. " I approached Mother who happened to be not far from me.

"Ajeng asked to go there, Mother at home yes, Mr. Anto later Ajeng asked to pick up Mbok War, nemenin Mother. "

Without waiting for mother's reply, I immediately rushed towards the room, picking up the bag.

.

"Oh Allah, Anita! " I faintly heard a startled cry from Mother.

" Be careful, kid. " The message was to me as I kissed the back of his hand.

After a long journey in traffic, I finally arrived at the hospital in the city center. I immediately rushed towards the information room, asking where the opration room was.

It didn't take long for me until I found him. Seen from afar, two men who were sitting quietly with each other, and not long after a man came out of the operating room, wearing green clothes, congratulating the birth of his first daughter. Making a big stone that had lodged in my heart as if raised, tremendous relief

I smiled broadly, sighing in relief. Thank God what I was worried about didn't happen.I stepped my foot closer to them. Seeing the condition of Anita and her baby.

However, all this euphoria of happiness emanated from each self must fade away for a moment, after the doctor continued his words, saying an apology before Barata and Naufal, if he could not save the life of his wife, he said, because of heavy bleeding in his head.

My head immediately turned, my legs were limp, I could only be as privileged as I could, walking closer towards them. No one's making a sound. I was about to approach Barata, but the man just went into the operating room to see the condition of his son and the final state of Anita. Following the doctor who just gave the sad news.

Anita's.

Truly I did not expect his fate to be like this, I did not expect that our meeting this morning was his last meeting, his farewell to Mother, was the farewell he said to leave us forever. No matter how much she hates me, really, I never put the same feeling on her.

"Jeng" Naufal was aware of my presence. Approaching me and grabbing me. Making the cry that I was holding back from earlier break.

When this man told me that Anita had fallen, the first thing I thought about was her content, I didn't think a single bit about her. How's stomach? the babies? is it okay? only that question swirled in my head during the trip to the hospital.

"Why is it like this? " I looked at Naufal. Explain it with a variety of questions. "How is Barata here? How did he know Anita was in an accident? "

Making my cry even more

"Don't ask too many questions, no one can ask why or why. "

"Sstttttt"

It's getting tighter.

"Now, contact Mbak Runti to take care of everything immediately! " his orders to me.

"We need to act fast"

I began to realize with the words of Naufal, with trembling hands, I called Mbak Runti, telling the situation now, asking Mbak Runti to go home immediately, informing the local house and RT people to prepare for the funeral process.

The call is interrupted where a midwife comes out by pushing the incubator tube.

"One of the patient's families, please follow me !" His words passed quickly.

Without waiting for orders, nor asking Naufal, I immediately followed the midwife and left Naufal alone.

"Mom, why put it in an incubator? is there a problem with him? " I, powerless to hold many questions, finally asked.

"Yes Ma'am, although this baby was born quite a month, but this baby has a small birth weight, and his body temperature continues to decrease. " It was clear to me that after putting the tiny baby into a large, glassy room, that I could clearly see it even from the outside.

"How long? "

"We adjust to the child, we pray that the baby's condition will soon improve. " Reply.

We had a discussion about the poor baby's health, from his initial condition, to the problem of breastfeeding. Whether to look for mother milk or use formula milk. I, who had no experience at all about babies, just gave everything to the hospital.

The hour hand on my wrist showed at 23:45, the room was quiet, I drew closer to the big glass that showed the little baby girl, touching her through the glass blocking the distance. This baby instantly captivated my heart at first sight. His adorable face, able to amaze me with a constant sense of gratitude. But a moment later, the feeling of pity just like that, yes, he was not as lucky as other babies. Her mother died, even to be in her mother's arms, for the first and last time she didn't experience it.

Oh God why is this so, how will this child grow up without a mother? while Barata, how could he possibly accompany this child? Anitaaa I closed my eyes tightly, holding back these tears from escaping again.

kullu nafsing zaaa-iqotul-mauut, wa nabluukum bisy-syarri wal-khoiri slander, wa ilainaa turja'uun

"Every living person will feel dead. We will test you with evil and kindness as trials. And you will be returned only to us."

(QS. Al-Anbiya 21: Verse 35)

We do not know when the death will pick up, it will not be too fast nor will it be too slow. Everyone has their time. I too, am waiting for His call. Who knows now, the Angel Izroil is looking at me, watching over me, only I am unaware and do not see it.

Really, this is a hard slap for me, because death will never wait, and it will never know. Whether we're ready or not to 'go home'.

POV Author

Anita's mother came to the hospital in a heartbreaking condition. He was hysterical in front of the mortuary, just before the body was moved into the funeral room. Naufal calmed down as much as he could, while Barata was taking care of the administrative process, so that the body could be brought home immediately.

It does not take long, after the body is ready to be buried, the body is first brought back to the funeral home to be sholati.

Barata deliberately asked his wife to be purified in the hospital by the recovery team, to speed up the funeral process.

The sound of ambulance sirens echoed, splitting the city streets in the early hours. Because the distance of the hospital is in the city center, fairly far from home, it takes a long time, along with heavy rain, which requires the driver to be more careful.

The car entered the residential area, the sound of sirens was no longer heard. Upon sensing that the ambulance had stopped, Barata prepared to disembark. But one of his hands was held by his mother-in-law.

"I'm sorry for Anita's mistakes" he said with tears ready to drip at any time.

Not yet able to answer, the door was open from the outside, Mother Anita let Barata off just like that, without a single word answer.

Seen, Ibu Sukma and Mbak Runti are waiting on the terrace of the house, and immediately welcomed Barata with sobs.

"The body was immediately brought in" a voice of direction from a codim soldier who turned out to have taken care of everything.

There are already two bouquets, from the union and from the local codim. The news quickly spread, remember that the wall alone can talk what else the wind can fly all over the direction of the wind?

"Patiently, son" Sukma's mother whispered in her ear as she hugged him. "Truth everything, it has become his way to be like this. Strengthen your heart. "

Barata was crying, even sobbing. Replying to his mother's arms tightly. I don't know what he's feeling right now.

Angry, disappointed, sorry mixed into one.

"Already deck, control yourself! " Runti patted his sister's shoulder. "Don't be like this! " Its baby.

Mother Sukma's eyes caught the figure of Mother Anita, who was walking towards her, her reflexes released her child's embrace and welcomed the arrival of the woman.

" I'm sorry for my son's mistakes" he sounded raucous.

"Sstttt already, who patiently goes with yes, ikhlaskan. We have to stay strong, we have to be strong, for the sake of grandchildren! " His reply while hugging tightly the iron.

As a last salute to the body, all present attended to the body, before finally being buried at the local public cemetery.

Right at dawn adhan reverberated, the pallbearers had arrived at the funeral home.

Barata entered his room. The first place he went to was the bathroom. He stripped her clothes, turned on the shower, turned her head up, hoping that all this would pass. Lost in water, flowing to distant places.

"Aaargggggggg"

Barata groaned in frustration, hitting the wall in front of him.

"Brengggseeekkk!!!!! "

"You shouldn't die!!!! You should be able to account for what you did!!! "

"It's too easy for you, it's like I killed you here!! "

He cried, so heartbreaking.

While in the hospital, Ajeng who had just come out of the hospital mosque immediately called his family. To report this sad news.

It didn't take long, the call got an answer.

"The salmualaikum warohmatullahi wabarokatuh"

Ajeng smiled, The voice of his first love male that he heard this morning.

"Bapak Walaikumsalam" he said cheerfully.

"Well, Ma'am Ajeng, piwe? enjing-enjing phone. Tumbens"

Ajeng smiled, imagining his shocked father getting a call from him early in the morning like this with a deep frown.

"There is sad news sir, Anita died" he said, as soon as his face turned sad.

"Inalilahi wa inna ilaihi. Oh God when? son how? "

"They're in this hospital. Ajeng is in the hospital now. Being treated with incentives. The body was buried earlier. Naufal told Ajeng just now. "

"Mothers can come here, right? condolences? " Task her.

"Yes, I get ready first yes later while ngabarin this to Mom. "

"Ajeng also want to take all these bags, please bring a change of clothes, transfer to Wijaya Kusuma hospital. Ajeng is here. " Bondage.

"When did you rise to the rank of doctor? So the sisters continue not to go up the departments" Mr. Rahmat breathed heavily.

"Moga-moga kowe dadi wong sing so be so nduk, healthy ndang happy. Mr. sakjane melas karo your crew. "*

At once his eyes condensed, hearing the sincere prayer of his Father. It feels heavy to hold the weight of water that encourages it to slide, until it finally escapes just like that. Spreading, falling soaked her cheeks.

"Aamiin Sir" he said.

*May you be a lucky person, son, healthy and happy. Father actually pityes you.
