Between life and death

That morning Andi had rushed to Anita's house, she had to take Junior to school. Today he plans to invite Anita to come with him, after taking Junior he will take Anita to a quiet place and he will tell all the truth about Hendra's condition.

"Why did you take me out this morning ?" asked Anita when Andi asked her to come along and take Junior

"Let's get ready, you'll know" Andi replied unwilling to tell her the real reason

"All right,..." Anita finally accepted Andi's invitation

After finishing preparing the three of them then rushed off, not long before arriving at Junior school. Anita gets out of the car and takes Junior to her class, while Andi waits in the car.

"Okay mommy stay yes, learn the good boy.." said Anita peeked both cheeks of her son.

"Yes mommy.I love mommy." said Junior smiled happily.

"Mommy loves you too, boy." Anita replied and rushed back to the car.

"Where are we going?" anita asked as she sat beside Andi

"Look at it later, you'll know too." replied Andi briefly who started driving his car at moderate speed.

Andi took Anita driving towards the direction out of the city, although he felt astonished but Anita was just silent. During the trip the two of them did not talk much, Andi continued to focus on driving.

After a long journey, they arrived at a retreat. The atmosphere was very calm and peaceful, a green scene with a small lake in the middle. There is a villa building that is not too big but looks beautiful. This place is nothing but a place where Hendra usually calms down, Andi knows this place from Arya.

"Where is this place, the view is really beautiful." said Anita slowly as she got down from the car and started walking while looking around her.

"Do you like it?" ask Andi later

"Yes, very like.the atmosphere is calm and peaceful, and look there is a lake there.." said Anita was very enthusiastic.

"We rest in the villa first, you may be tired, hungry or thirsty." said Andi stared softly at Anita's face.

"No, I want to go there..." Anita spontaneously pulled Andi's hand and walked towards the edge of the lake

"Yes, it's up to you..." Andi just followed Anita's steps

Now the two have been sitting on a long bench by the lake, under a fairly large and shady tree. Anita sat and stared ahead, the clear expanse of lake water with green scenery around her dazzled her.

"Where do you know a place this beautiful?" tanya Anita continued to admire the beauty of the place

"You know what this place is, Anita." Andi said slowly looking at Anita's face and reaching for her hand.

"No, what a place." Anita now returned Andi's gaze with a look of surprise because she felt Andi's attitude was so strange.

"Anita, this is Hendra's private place while he was calming down." Andi said slowly and very seriously.

"What, so this place..." Anita has not finished her speech

"Is she here now, Andi." asked Anita who was moved to hear Andi's explanation.

"If he could, he would really want to be in this place." - Andi who began to organize her heart and prepared to tell all the truth.

"What do you mean, tell Andi what's really going on.." said Anita now the feeling began to fidget at Andi's strange attitude.

"Anita, strengthen your heart and rest assured everything will be fine. Hendra is currently dying, his condition is critical and he is struggling between life and death." Andi said slowly and very carefully.

"Don't joke, there's no way.My cold man is so tough, he can't be like that, not even the angel of death will be able to get close to him..." anita said and her tears began to flow

"I know she's that tough, so she still survives today, if someone else might have given up" said Andi rubbing Anita's arm trying to calm down

"No, you're lying..my Daddy must be fine, he's on duty right now.Don't be too outrageous to joke, it's not very funny" said Anita staring at Andi's face sharply.

"Calm down and be patient, Anita, this reality is hard for you, but this is the truth. " Andi tried to calm down to strengthen Anita's heart

"Daddy..." softly Anita felt her head was so heavy that she felt about to faint and quickly embraced Anita's limp body

Anita drooped helplessly, her head heavy and her body limp as if boneless, she leaned on Andi's shoulder as her tears flowed down. He just stared silently at the lake water in front of him, his heart was very broken and felt disbelief with what Andi said.

"Tell me all this is just a lie, right..my Daddy is fine, he will definitely go home soon." lirih Anita sounded so sad that Andi could not help his sadness.

"Anita, strengthen your heart." Andi said, clutching Anita's hand.

"How can this happen." Anita said again.

Andi very carefully began to tell the whole incident, from the beginning until finally Hendra is in his current condition. He continued to try to calm Anita's heart and make it strong, so that he did not feel his tears also dripped.

"I want to meet her and see her now, take me to her." Anita said slowly.

"Please promise me you will be strong and steadfast, I will not take you if it is still this way." said Andi stared softly at Anita's eyes that began to calm down.

"I promise, let's meet her now." said Anita stared back at Andi's face and wiped her tears.

"Here drink first, let your heart feel calm and strong with all this, after that we just go." said Andi gave a bottle of water to Anita with full attention.

"But she must be cured, she is very strong and not a single bullet can paralyze her." said Anita looked at Andi confidently.

"Certainly, pray that all this will happen." Andi said.

"Surely, I always pray for him.After he recovers, I promise to take good care of him, I will not let him play with death again. Me and daddy will live a quiet and peaceful life in this place." said Anita slowly.

"Yes, Anita.." lirih Andi held back because she knew Hendra's true condition.
