The journey has just begun

Day after day passed with smiles between them. Departing school became more excited, the students soon arrived and could meet each other. But everything is not as easy as they want, many do not like their closeness. Both from school friends, teachers and even their own close friends.

Renata is well aware that when he decides to give Hendra a chance, he must be strong and persevere in the face of scorn about him, understand that almost all the citizens of this school know the behavior of him and his gang.

Almost every time Renata heard such tilting sounds. He tried not to hear or enter his heart. He tried to keep believing that Hendra was not as bad as they thought.

Renata was quite happy when he saw Hendra at school, because it means he has not often skipped lessons anymore.

After the school hours were over, Renata headed to the place where Hendra meant. Time passed as quickly as they were together, joking with each other, sharing stories, teasing each other.

It does not feel time is enough in the afternoon, the atmosphere of the school is also quiet let alone coincidentally that day there are no extracurricular activities.

This afternoon was not as usual, Renata had already bathed and dressed up sweetly. He could not wait for Hendra to come. Renata rushed out when he heard the sound of the engine stopping.

"Hi, Ren.." said Tia, her schoolmate.

He had completely forgotten that today Tia wanted to play at home and return the book borrowed from him.

"Hi, Tia."

When the two of them chatted not too long finally back there was the sound of the motor stopping, this time actually Hendra who came.

"Hi.. sit down, Hen." welcome Renata.

Hendra sat down a little awkwardly, knowing that he was not very familiar with Tia. Because the atmosphere was not conducive, Tia finally came home.

It was getting dark when Hendra came home, that day for the first time Renata received a male guest. His parents asked about his relationship with Hendra, but he answered only friends. He did not dare to say that he had actually become the same Hendra.

That day at school Renata has not met Hendra at all, he tried to find out from his classmates, and apparently no one knows. He asked Deni, one of his gang friends.

"Den, did Hendra not come in today?"

"Yes today he didn't go in, sick." Deni replied in a flat tone.

Renata knew that Deni had not liked his closeness with Hendra.

"What's he hurting, Den?"

"His hand may be broken..."

"Break,..kok can,...why, Den?"

"Just ask yourself the same person tomorrow if you come in." Deni's answer is getting more and more unpleasant to hear.

Deni passed from before him, he could only let out a long sigh. He really has to be patient in dealing with his gang friends Hendra.

Renata was very curious, actually what happened, what really broke Hendra's hand. But he didn't know who to ask. He tried to be patient, hopefully Hendra will go to school tomorrow.

The next day he saw Hendra coming to school with his left hand held, he immediately rushed to him.

"Hendra, why are you... Your hand is broken?" asked Renata impatiently.

"It's okay to just crack."

"Just crack you say, I just can't sleep thinking about your situation."

"Don't worry, Ren.I'm fine, it's just a crack, yesterday I got hit by the beam again clashing."

"Oh Allah, Hen. I'm worried about you, I don't want you to do anything."

"Yes Ren, I know you're worried, but this is okay."

"Hendra, our journey has only just begun, but I can't bear to see you like this, when are you going to change?" unwittingly Renata's tears had flowed down her cheeks.

"Ren, give me time, I promise I will try to change for the better." said Hendra Lirih while wiping Renata's tears.

"I can't even watch your tears keep flowing. I love you, Ren. I don't want to disappoint you again, but please give me time."

Leaning on Hendra's shoulder, Renata was still crying. Renata's tears like they don't want to stop flowing, Hendra really can't see it, he feels more guilty.

"Stop crying, Rena.remove your tears.." said Hendra calmed Renata while gently rubbing her head.

If not because of his affection for Hendra, it feels like Renata wants to run away from this situation. But he was well aware that he really loved Hendra, he really cared about him.

Renata strives to strengthen her heart and promises herself to stay by Hendra's side, together through the journey of their love story that may face many obstacles.

"You really want to change, don't you, Hen?" asked Renata to strengthen her heart.

"Trust me, Ren.I promise I will try to change as long as you stay by my side." replied Hendra softly as she held Renata's hand and looked her in the eye gently.

"Yes, I'll stay by your side." Renata tried to smile a little.

"Thank you, Rena.I love you so much."

Hendra hugged Renata's shoulder, and carried her close to his chest until the sound of his heartbeat could be heard clearly by Renata.

"Ren, promise me you'll never leave me, I'm really afraid of losing you."

"I promise, Hen..."

"I'm sorry I worried you."

"To be honest, I still don't want to see your hand held so."

"Okay, I promise as soon as my hand recovers replace you that I carry..hehehee." Hendra began to tease Renata not to be sad anymore.

"Hendra." Renata accidentally pinched Hendra's left hand which was being carried.

"Aduuhhhh..sick, Ren." cried Hendra.
