Regretting

The whole family looked very happy, smiles always adorned their faces. While the family still gathered and to get to know more closely, Ardian brought the whole family for a picnic to the villa in the suburbs.

On a clear Sunday morning, the Ardians and Renata's family arrived at a villa, a beautiful natural landscape lying around the place. Everyone seemed happy, but Renata was alone in the backyard while staring at the green trees.

"Rena, what are you doing here alone?" asked Ardian who was already standing beside him

"Pantesan not looking in the room is not there, they are on a good meal, you do not follow?" ardian

Renata only fell silent while shaking his head. His eyes still looked at the green expanse in front of him.

"Rena, what's wrong with you?" Ardian held Renata's shoulder and turned his back, now they were facing each other.

"Say Rena, what's in your heart?" Ardian raised Renata's lowered face

"Mas, it feels like this is too soon, honestly I am not ready" said Renata slowly without daring to look at Ardian's face

"Rena, believe me, I love you and will always try to make you happy, I will always be by your side under any circumstances." Ardian tried to convince Renata

The two of them sat on the park bench behind the villa, staring at the beautiful scenery in front of him. Renata rested his head on Ardian's chest, and Ardian's right hand was coiled around Renata's waist while his left hand tightly grasped Renata's.

Sometimes Ardian kissed Renata on the forehead, making Renata feel comfortable in his arms. For a moment there was only silence between them.

"Honey, yesterday when you left me at the fruit ice shop, I met your friend you know." Said Ardian who tried to break the silence, but unexpectedly even backfired for him.

"Friends, ...What friends are you?" Renata suddenly pulled his body

"High School Friend, his name is Hendra" said Ardian calmly

Like being struck by lightning, Renata's heartbeat seemed to stop instantly. His face turned tense.

"Ren, what's wrong with you?" Ardian was surprised by Renata's reflexes

"What did he say, mas?" asked Renata staring intently at Ardian's face

"Not saying anything, just my relationship with you" replied Ardian who was still confused by Renata's reaction

"Trus what are you talking about, mas?" Renata is getting tense

"Yes, I said that I was a husband-to-be who proposed to you tonight."

"Mas Ardian why don't you go straight to me, why are you just talking now." Renata began to shed tears

"What's wrong, I don't think it's important to tell immediately." Ardian was confused

"Maybe it's not important to you, but it means a lot to me. I'm sorry I accepted your proposal, mas." Renata seemed very emotional

Unable to hold back her emotions, Renata ran into the room and locked her up. A confused Ardian rushed after Renata, but the door was locked from the inside.

"Rena, what's the matter.open the door, Ren we can talk about it carefully, don't be like this." Ardian knocked on the door of the room quite loudly, but there was no answer from inside.

"What's wrong with Ardian?" mother Renata asked when she saw him knock hard on the door.

"Rena, Mom.Why did she suddenly get angry, and say she regretted accepting my proposal" explained Ardian

"Indeed, what were you talking about earlier.?" ask me, I look worried

"I was just telling you yesterday that I met a high school friend, but Renata's reaction was really unexpected" Ardian explained

"School Friends.... What kind of guy is a girl? what's name?" Mom's getting worried

"Cowok Bu, Hendra's name."

"What.oh pantesan Rena so this." Mom looked sad, then sat in the living room.

Ardian became more confused when he saw Renata's mother became sad, he seemed to hold back his tears so as not to drip. Then Ardian followed him and sat down in front of him.

"Hendra is Renata's past, which until now has not been forgotten. Their relationship was forced to run aground due to differences in belief, but Renata has not been able to accept the reality and still hopes they can be together. The two of them do love each other, and it's not until when that feeling remains in their hearts." explained Mother

"Mom has repeatedly advised Renata to move on, but it seems like their love is very deep" continued Mother

Meanwhile Hendra was unable to control his anger, since his meeting with Ardian. He did not even understand his current feelings, he was very angry but had to be equally angry. Who is to blame, he hates himself.

Hendra drives his bike at high speed, his mind flies somewhere, he is completely out of focus. And sure enough, when he was almost to the finish at a corner, he could not control the bike. A single accident happened to him, making his condition very serious and was immediately rushed to the hospital.

"What's my son's condition, doc?" hendra's parents who arrived at the hospital were very worried

"For the moment the patient is not yet awake, his condition is critical, we are trying our best, the father of the mother prays alone." explained the doctor who looked tense

Two days into Hendra's unconsciousness, his mother was always by his side. Prayer never stopped from his mouth, staring at his son's face tears kept flowing.

Hendra's parents really don't understand why his son is like this anymore. Though lately he has been serious about undergoing college, his life is also more organized.

"Doctor, my son's doctor is awake." cried the mother when she saw Hendra began to move his hand.

The doctor and several nurses immediately checked Hendra's condition, long enough for the doctor to observe him. Her parents waited anxiously outside the ICU.

"How's doc, my son's condition?" ask when you see the doctor outside the room

I will immediately move to a regular hospital room and you can immediately visit it." explained the doctor who later left the ICU room

After being in the usual room, Hendra's parents immediately approached. They smiled with relief when they saw that the boy had opened his eyes, and now only an infusion tube was left in his hand.

"Okay Ma'am, Hendra is okay" replied Hendra slowly

"Why are you like this again?" ask Hendra's father with a little emotion.

"We think you've really changed, but why is this so again, is it because of women again." continued the father

Hendra just fell silent, he just looked at his father's angry face. I tried to calm my emotions.

"You look like a thug, but your heart is mletre only because of women" said Father as he walked out of the room.

Now only Hendra and Mother live in the room. Hendra was still silent, his eyes empty, his tears started to melt from both of his eyelids.

"Hendra, tell mom son what's going on" said the mother slowly as she rubbed her head

"Renata, Mom..he already has a prospective husband, yesterday he was proposed." said Hendra.

"Patience son, but how do you know?" ask mom

"Yesterday Hendra met directly with her future husband, she herself said that night she would propose to Renata." her chest was getting crowded.

"Did Rena forget about me, was I no longer in her heart." he sighed softly

"Hen, you can't say that, maybe you will always be in Renata's heart. But he also has to continue his life, all this time you don't give him certainty. The woman needs reassurance to step into her future." explained Mother softly

"So I was wrong...."

"There's nothing wrong and right in your relationship, maybe you love each other and want to be together, but fate also determines. Life must go on, son, keep your love meetings deep inside, and look ahead. Everything has been outlined by God, we must try to live it." Mother's advice while continuing to stroke Hendra's head.
