7. Worshipful Grasshopper
The danger warning screamed loudly, telling me that there was a very powerful monster in front. When I saw Roxy, she was cowering in fear like a newborn puppy.
He felt the same fear as me.
“That's bad?.” I said as I stared at the creature that made my body goosebumps just by feeling the air of its existence.
The monster was a praying mantis nearly two meters tall with four sickles growing on its body. The monster I saw at home.
Before the praying mantis realized our whereabouts, I brought the still frightened Roxy into the empty house to hide.
“It's pretty scary open Roxy?.”
Roxy's slow barking returned my words.
In hiding, we rest. Roxy enjoyed the rabbit meat that I had separated with bone, while I myself ate the roast meat that was still not raw.

There wasn't much difference, just the Explorer job that went up to level five because I pretty much defeated monsters after the fight with the iron shell centipede.
Then another significant difference was seen in the Skill [Dagger Art] which now reached level three because I used a dagger-type weapon, kitchen knife and rabbit ears.

Looking at the level of the [Beginner Dagger Art] made me know how to raise the skill level was to continue using it.
As long as I continue to use the dagger-type weapon, then the skill [Starter dagger technique] will earn Exp points and make it continue to level up.
I should have been able to raise the level of other skills, but the problem was that I could not, or rather I did not dare to use as great a skill as I had for fear of running out of magic energy.

Roxy approached the praying Grasshopper and barked in front of him. It made the monster realize the existence of the dog and immediately attacked him.
The attack of the mutant insect was so fast, two sickle slashes immediately attacked Roxy, but were successfully avoided.
Successfully attracting the attention of the praying mantis, Roxy immediately runs with the insect monster chasing after her. Roxy ran towards the dense housing.
On one of the roofs of the house I saw Roxy being chased by a praying mantis, she ran towards the direction where I was.
One rabbit dagger that I had prepared I took from inside the item Box. Looking at the stats menu for the last time I was prepared to use all the skills I had.
Roxy kept running, she was several times almost hit by the attack from the praying mantis, but the girl worked well until she got to where I planned to be.
I continued to pay attention while preparing myself, until finally Roxy stopped running because he found there was a wall in front of him.
The road Roxy took turned out to be a dead end.
The praying mantis chasing him looks happy because it can finally get the dog he is after.
The monster immediately attacked quickly, but Roxy managed to dodge the attack with a paper-thin distance.
Seeing how Roxy dodged every attack amazed me, I felt pessimistic about having to do the same thing Roxy did.
But now is not the time to be amazed by Roxy's evasive skills. I immediately ran my role to perform a surprise attack.
Right on top of the praying back, I jumped off the roof with a dagger. ‘(Aura) (Sharp Stab).’ I activate all buff skills in the mind.
My body felt the power rise significantly, followed by a reduced power, it seemed like it was the effect of losing magic energy because I used an active skill.

But as a result the praying mantis knew of my whereabouts. But I'm not worried that my position is known because it's too late.
The rabbit dagger pierced the back of the praying mantis' neck, all the energy I gave it caused a fatal wound.

The praying mantis screamed loudly feeling an incredible pain. The rabbit dagger I used was broken because it was not strong enough to withstand the force I was flowing.
With one strike I mustered everything I had. But that was not enough, the praying mantis was still standing pecking on as green blood flowed profusely from his throat.

“Crazy, he really can't be killed with just one strike.”
Won't waste a chance. Roxy and I immediately launched a joint attack against the praying mantis.
That monster is a monster. Even though it was so badly injured but the praying mantis could still compensate for our attacks.
Even Roxy until the infamous attack for protecting me who lost focus due to left eye pain suddenly began to recur.
Seeing Roxy get injured for trying to protect me, made the anger mount up so unknowingly unleashed the [Intimidation] Skill.
The praying mantis' body froze as it felt intimidation from me. The monster suffered from some debuff which made it even weaker which made it easier for me to defeat it.
We finally achieved victory in this fight.

I'm happy when I level up, Roxy is too. The injuries that Roxy suffered were treated as soon as her level increased.
Seeing him back healthy made me feel relieved. Whereas before Roxy's body was seriously injured as if it had been split in two due to the attack of praying mantis.
We didn't have fun celebrating the victory for too long because in the west the sun started to set.
Finally our trip today to the minimarket ended in failure, because I prefer to return home rather than continue the journey at night.
