48. Drink Together

As a result of the riots that the Red Dagger gang has done, they are now languishing in prison. While Hendry, the gang leader, is in critical condition after suffering a fatal wound to his neck, he is downstairs and undergoing intensive care.

Everyone helped the rioters' arrest, so Raya and Yuki also intervened. The party ended in chaos, but everyone was happy that the Red Dagger Genk could finally be eradicated.

Except Budi whose face is getting irritated because Raya forgot about her promise to give Nasi Goreng for him.

The sound of the keroncong again sounded, but now firmer than before. Budi could only lament to the damn thing, the young man thought of going to the Mansion's kitchen and hoped to find a little food.

“Nak Budi!.” but suddenly Yuniar called him.

Roxy, Akita and Pushrank go with Rohid towards their previous enclosure. While Yuniar is currently in the kitchen preparing food for Budi.

“I'm sorry my daughter, she really likes to forget things like this.” Yuniar serves pre-prepared food.

They plan to have dinner together after the party is over. But due to the chaos caused by the Red Dagger Genk, the plan failed to be implemented.

“I think he's gone too far this time because it made me almost faint from hunger.”

Budi was still angry because Raya made him suffer so much for deliberately starving him.

“Therapy because the food he made was quite good, I think I can forgive him.” Budi continued.

When Budi was having dinner accompanied by Yuniar. Suddenly Rohid appears, saying he has finished delivering the stars to the cage.

Budi also thanked him for taking care of Pushrank and the others. After saying that, Rohid immediately left as he was already sleepy.

“Alright, during the night dear.” Yuniar looked at Rohid who left the kitchen. Just a quick glance and then go back to the food.

“Aibi and others seem to have adapted to this situation.” Let's start a conversation.

Yuniar only smiled bitterly hearing that. “You don't want everyone to have to be able to adapt if you want to stay alive.” reply that woman.

I nodded small in response to agree. As a person who only lives alone makes Budi often faced with extreme circumstances, such as when he is required to work in a group.

It feels so heavy for Budi when obliged to interact with others, what else until working with the stranger. But because it does not have a choice that can be taken, Budi was finally forced to adapt.

The two also chatted with each other, Budi told me the current condition of the village that he had collapsed had become so different.

“You made our home basement as a cage?.”

“It was, it was only temporary. And I also clean it every day.”

Budi panicked because he was afraid that the woman would be angry after finding out if the basement of his house was used as a temporary cage.

“It doesn't matter what you make our home like. Anyway we also don't know whether to return to that village again or not.”

Yuniar said that Raya currently has big plans to build the city of Sawi. They have gained a lot of support and a good position in the community.

The magnitude of the influence they have makes the desire to control the entire city even greater. Plus the fact that now the position of Mayor is empty after Gofar was killed by Hendry.

Making it as if they were destined to take over the city of Sawi.

“Only one more step until our whole city control. Impossible is not we throw away the opportunity that will not come twice?.”

Yuniar spoke like a war commander who had already seen victory before his eyes.

After eating, Budi began to remove drinks and cigarettes. Yuniar who has not been drinking for several months due to illness. It made him unable to bear to drink with the young man.

“This is very strong...my body feels burning..” he said after drinking the concoction made by Tohir.

The two continued to stay awake while enjoying drinks for hours. They were originally waiting for Raya and Yuki to come home, but it seemed like the two girls would not be coming home because of another problem where some members of the Red Dagger gang made another fuss in the resident settlement.

Budi continued to accompany Yuniar to drink, the woman wept for her husband's departure. He felt relieved after expressing grievance to Budi because Yuniar could not do it to his two children because he did not want to make Raya or Rohid sad.

“Chatting with you is very fun.” said Yuniar with a wide smile, his face reddened by the influence of drinks. Budi immediately turned his face because he saw some buttons clothes the woman was released because she felt hot.

The clock showed at eleven, both of them were already so drunk with dozens of bottles strewn across the floor. Budi felt he was not strong and wanted to go to sleep immediately.

With all the remaining consciousness Budi was intending to go outside, he intended to sleep in Pushrank's winged stables.

But after seeing Yuniar lying on the floor drunk, Budi thought to help the woman go to her room first.

“Auntie let's move.” Budi tried to move Yuniar, but he did not wake up. In the end Budi carried Yuniar to his room. “But which room?.” there are dozens of rooms in the three-storey large Mansion, Budi does not know which room is Yuniar.

Budi thought it would be easy if he contacted Raya and asked, but the young man was afraid that Raya was angry after finding out that her mother had become drunk because of her actions.

In the end, having no other choice, Budi awakens Yuniar to show his room. But the difficulty did not stop there because it turned out that Yuniar's room was on the third floor which made Budi have to carry the woman to the top floor.

After painstakingly climbing the stairs and several times lost because of the direction (Yuniar) who again lost consciousness in the middle of the journey.

In the end, Budi found Yuniar's room. He intended to leave immediately after laying down to lay the woman in his room, but suddenly his head felt excruciating pain due to the effects of being drunk.

Trying to calm himself Budi sat on the edge of the bed, he breathed slowly to relieve his headache, but it made him hot.

Then suddenly two arms hugged her from behind, followed by a breath sound as it felt behind her neck. As Budi looked back, Yuniar's soft lips immediately greeted him.

Budi was surprised to find a kiss from the woman, but he could not do anything to reject it because his body felt hotter began to be unable to control.

That night the Mansion was in a quiet condition because most of its residents were out cleaning the city from the Genk Red Dagger. So that no one is aware of the small commotion that is currently happening inside one of the rooms.
