13. Just One Chance

The lightning struck so hard right above my head. It struck the spider monster and caused it to scream in pain.

At first glance I saw the faces of two women with such a huge difference between them.

One was such a horrible old woman, like the cast of Magic Grandma in old school movies, her face was green with hair like a coiled cob of a spider web.

While the others were beautiful like a Goddess, long black hair was scattered sharing a night so flying, her appearance was like a palace princess of antiquity.

I regained my senses from my daydream as the spider stopped screaming. The monster went silent as if it had been killed, but I still felt a sense of danger still not dissipating which indicated that the spider was still alive.
