22. Weapons of the Dwarf

I woke up all of a sudden because the feeling of danger suddenly felt very strong. While still sleepy, I try to focus on strengthening the skill (Hero Sense) to see what happens.

The skill (Hero Sense) that had reached level 4 allowed me to feel the presence of monsters and other dangerous creatures within a wider range.

After successfully focusing myself, I was able to see what made the feeling of danger so loudly warn me.

A large number of monster groups were moving towards here, although the movement of the group was slow, but it was obvious that what they were aiming for was the area my house was in. I'm very dangerous if they get here.

“What are they direct from Dungeon?.”

I hurried up from the bed, Roxy and Akita were still asleep. They must have been very exhausted from yesterday's fight. I want them to rest, because it will not take them both in this extermination.

The dwarf let out a long sigh making the entire cigarette smoke in his mouth come out. Two then handed me some supplies.

“This is what I promised you.”

Tohir handed over a pair of daggers, swords, a large scythe and a set of Armor that seemed to be made from an iron centipede shell. I'm very grateful for the weapon he gave me, but I don't know with the armor.

At first I felt hesitant to use armor that looked heavy and might interfere with my movements later. But I was wrong, after holding it the armor felt so light and did not interfere with movement.

“This is much better than the chest protector I made.”

{Did you compare my made armor with the shell you used to protect the chest?}

Tohir was visibly irritated when the armor of his creation was compared to a chest protector made so modestly.

“Yes how else, I am not an expert in the field of making weapons or armor like you.”

Thohir gave a small nod while massaging his chin, as if he was thinking of something. Did he understand what I was just talking about?.

Outside the house I tried the weapon that Tohir gave me, the first one was a large scythe. The weapon similar to the arm of the praying Grasshopper felt very comfortable. Lighter than the arm of the Grasshopper, but not the least reduces its strength.

Tohir said all his weapons had a special effect. The way to activate the special effect on the weapon is to flow it with magic.

I did what the Dwarves taught me. Thanks to the learning effort that took several days, I was finally able to open a new skill that is (Control Mana) this skill makes it easier to control mana throughout the body.

“Although I actually prefer to use skill (Aura).”

The reason is because the more often you use the skill, the level will increase faster. And also when using Aura, my body is much stronger than using magic energy. But that power also often causes problems.

“Entah how much Jek scolded me for damaging the furniture of the house because I used excessive force during the move.”

Back at the practice, I began to channel magic energy into the large scythe. A bluish light started to radiate on the scythe blade, it reminded me of when using weapons from monster bodies.

“But it's circulating.”

If I put magic energy on monster weapons like rabbit daggers and Grasshopper arms, then the blade will emit a reddish glow. But on the weapon made Tohir actually emit a bluish light.

Then I activated the skill on the big scythe.

“Claw!”

After activating the skill, instantly the sickle blade split into three like claws. It's getting heavier, but I can still handle it.

“Woah, cool.”

I tried to use the sword. Although I currently do not have the skill (beginner Sword art) but Tohir still make me a sword to practice.

The skill on that merchant was to make the layers on the sword blades give off a faint beam. The beam was a light magic that could cause damage to Undead-type monsters like zombies.

“Magic Weapon, I will become a true hero with this weapon that I named Durandal!.” I said with vigor while raising the sword to the sky.

Tohir's voice instantly shocked me. He along with Jek who was still sleepy, came up to me with the appearance of someone who was about to go to war.

“You will also come?.”

{You ask if we will fight?} I nodded my head in response.

{Not really, I'll just keep an eye on you while using my weapon}

So that was so, he wanted to see the abilities of the weapons he made. ‘Eh... doesn't that mean I'm just a guinea pig?.’

Turning away from Tohir, I looked at Jek who kept wiping his eyes.

{Uuh... I'm so sleepy}

Looks like Jek was forcibly awakened by Tohir. I then pointed at Jek and asked him why he was coming too. Then Tohir answered.

Tohir wants Jek to take this opportunity to level up. But I've never seen a goblin who likes to help with this homework fight before.

The weapon Jek was carrying was a magic wand and arrow, was he a long-range warrior. It would be so much fun if I could see a magic.

After the preparations were finished we set off for the forest, welcoming the arrival of monsters. On the way I checked the last weapon Tohir gave me.

A pair of daggers with killer spider eye ornaments. Tohir said if the dagger was used simultaneously it would give the effect of [Stealth] which makes the user undetected for several minutes.

But it's a pity that right now I still can't use two daggers at once. The moment I wanted to do that suddenly my energy disappeared and the dagger became heavier than it should have been.

Tohir said if it was a skill limit effect that happened because I was not yet qualified to use the double dagger technique.

Inside the forest that was so dark, I tried to find the right position to make an impromptu attack. Standing on the tree branch I looked around.

It was so dark when the clock was two in the morning. But that circumstance was not a hindrance to me because the skill (Hero Sense) allowed me to see in the dark.

“If the monsters can't see in the dark, it will be profitable for me.”

Looking at my comrade, Jek did not seem to be bothered by the dark state of the forest. Looks like the goblin has night vision skills. While Tohir was not, he was repeatedly tripped by rocks and tree roots while walking.

Not long after that the forest ground trembled as if the clattering of feet in large numbers were walking simultaneously. The monsters were almost out of the forest.

“I will not let them out of this forest.” I said while licking a dagger.
