14. Gacha cocoon

One more cocoon I opened, but what appeared was not a dog but a zombie that immediately intended to bite me.

“Uwa!.” I am in a panic because I got a surprise immediately pierced the neck of a zombie with a kitchen knife.

“This is the fifth time.” my body feels weak after going up and down the silk tower as many as a dozen times.

Most of the cocoons I carried were ferocious monsters, I immediately finished them off once (Hero Sense) caught the feeling of danger.

But not all the hostile monsters I got from inside the cocoon. There was also a muster who was neutral, like a sleepy goblin and a dwarf old man.

All the stars and strange creatures I saved only noticed me being busy both coming down the tower.

“Finally I found you friend!.” I impatiently went down the tower, “Defend, I will free you!.” after arriving at the ground I immediately opened the cocoon.

But it's not Roxy either.

“Why!.”

I was angry at the bad luck I kept getting. The dog I just saved became afraid of me, “Sorry this is not your fault.” I said as I stroked the head of the big dog.

She looks cute, what is a Shiba type? No, it is much larger in size than a Shiba-type Dog. Then maybe Akita.

“I didn't expect there would be someone keeping dogs from Japan in this area.” I just smiled as the dog started running around me.

“Maybe her employer is a Wibu.” I gave her rabbit meat, and saw a diamond necklace with the name Akita. “Very rich mom.” I said after seeing a dog wearing a diamond necklace.

I went back up and down the tower, but didn't get Roxy. Most of the cocoons I took were animals and monsters, but there were no humans.

“Maybe the giant spider instantly killed the human he caught.” I again remembered my fight with the spider that did not intend to make me cocoon as a food reserve, but it just wants to be eaten on the spot.

“What does that mean that the dwarf old man I saved earlier is not a human?.”

Opened another cocoon, but it turned out to contain only four chickens. “This place even became quite crowded.” the area around the silk tower began to be filled with animals that I saved.

They seem to be waiting for me.

After I spoke several times in the language I understood, the old man finally gave up.

Then as I opened the cocoon, it quickly filled in the bundle of threads it jumped out. Not a dragon or Roxy, it turns out the contents of the cocoon is a horse.

“I was surprised, where did the spider get the horse?.”

The spider cocoons hanging on top of the tower are like a gacha. I don't know what's in it, it makes me interested in guessing which animal or monster in the cocoon I'm about to open.

Until I finally managed to find Roxy after I opened all the cocoons on top of the tower.

The day began evening, I was with Roxy who was still angry again continued the journey to the minimarket.

Heavy rain accompanied by the body makes you forced to stay at the store.

“But why are you all also coming here?.” I looked at the Minimarket filled with animals that I saved from the cocoon.

The air gets very cold when the rain starts to fall, the glass window breaks make cold air into the inside of the store, but luckily Minimarket was equipped with a Folding gate that can close the entire front of the store.

“Good, with this we can light a fire inside the mini market without worrying about any monsters looking.”

I felt good to see inside the store that still kept a lot of things. I want to eat all the Snacks over there, a few days of eating homemade grilled meat makes me very hungry for good food.

But my appetite suddenly disappeared as the pain returned. “Have stopped the healing effect?.” I feel the pain I experienced was stifled due to the healing effect of leveling up, but now it is back again after the healing effect ends.

[An old man's point of view]

I can't remember when I was inside the Assassin Spider's cocoon. The one I remember the last time I was resting after getting tired of forging the sword I had been working on for almost twenty years.

Suddenly in my dream, I heard the voice of a god calling to me. I don't remember the details of my conversation with that god.

Because indeed when mortal beings talk to great beings then most of the memories of mortal beings will be erased afterwards.

But at least I remember the core of our conversation. The first one I've killed was killed by my own maid. The murder was based on a desire to take the weapon I had been working on for twenty years.

The maid continued to accompany me so faithfully just for wanting to snatch the weapon I had perfected.

It feels really disappointing, like when you're hungry and cooking food but when it's ripe your friend comes and eats it all.

I was very angry, but knowing there was nothing I could do, so just let go.

Realizing I was dead, God then gave me a choice whether to go to hell or go to another world.

Yes of course I chose the second option, after all who would want to go to hell.

That's why God sent me a different world. But what really happened to the people of this world, is this a war?

Many vehicles that I did not understand were milling about on land as well as in the air, chaos ensued everywhere screams and cries, all due to monster attacks.

Is this Dungeon Rampage? But why is it so big as if the whole world is going through something similar.

When my entire head was filled with questions, the high Assassin Spider pounced on me and made me a food reserve inside the cocoon.

A few days of living inside the cocoon without eating and drinking, made me feel like the choice of living in another world was even worse than hell.
