2. Go home

The big rat ran quickly towards me. His big teeth scare me into causing fatal injuries if the rodent attacks. I frantically kicked the mouse with all my might.

The sound of broken bones instantly sounded as the kick hit the big rat, hearing it made me even more panicked at thinking my leg had been broken. But luckily the leg was still fine, it seemed like the sound of a broken bone just now wasn't from me.

Then a two-meter long centipede came against me. I wonder where such a big insect comes from.

Two giant centipede fangs were shiny like sword eyes with the shape of scissors, my neck would definitely be cut off easily if it was hit by a centipede bite.

I'm gonna die. The big centipede was so strong, its legs clutching my body, its terrible mouth was about to devour the head. I tried to hold on by holding both centipede fangs.

As if holding the sword with my bare hands, my palm began to hurt from holding two centipede fangs.

Feeling unable to hold back any longer, I will be eaten by a giant centipede. But when I almost gave up all of a sudden...

The two fangs I broke made the centipede scream loudly, although in the process it made my palm hurt again, but I didn't care.

Using sharp fangs, I slashed the stomach of the centipede which made it even more painful. Green blood gushed out, the centipede released the grip of its feet and then sprawled on the ground.

The mysterious voice came back, it made me very curious whose voice kept on sounding inside my head.

But right now I am being surrounded by centipedes and rats in large numbers, they are like starving beasts preparing to fight over food.

I have to defend myself from being on the dinner menu for these aggressive animals. With the two centipede fangs I just got I started fighting back.

One by one I defeated the rats and centipedes, but the number of opponents that were too many made it difficult for me.

Shouts echoed as my body began to pile up wounds from the bites of monsters. But I didn't give up and kept fighting.

Shirt torn, left eye injured so can not see again. It's a life and death fight.

The exhaustion and pain that had accumulated made me almost give up.

But as if something was pushing me, I kept fighting and kept fighting, trying hard to keep my life.

Until I finally breathed so heavily in the middle of a pile of dead centipedes and rats.

My whole body ached, my vision became blurry, my head felt dizzy, my balance began to waver.

“Looks like I'm not going home today.” I laughed a little and fell unconscious.

Awakened by the stench of insects and rats that I made as a bed. I don't know how long I've been asleep in this cave.

But seeing the condition of the corpse that began to rot made me think not only one day had been missed.

Has no one seen the hole in Goa where I am today?. It feels impossible because the mouth of the cave is at the crossroads of the road that should be very crowded.

I want to know what's really going on out there, but my body is still exhausted making me prefer to go home soon and get back to rest.

Inside the pile of centipede corpses, I took my motor and immediately returned to the surface.

What exactly happened?.

The feeling of anxiety getting stronger makes me immediately turn on the motor. The rest of the way home, all I saw was chaos.

It all feels like the setting of a big disaster movie or a zombie outbreak. Bodies were lying on the side of the road, cars were parked irregularly and houses were on fire.

“Actually what happens when I sleep?.”

Not knowing what was going on and not knowing what to do, I chose to ignore it.

The motor is accelerated to get home immediately. A residential complex that is usually crowded, today is so quiet. I ignored everything I saw along the complex road. Arriving at home I immediately locked the fence and went inside.

The clothes I was wearing immediately I threw into the trash because they were damaged and filled with blood stains.

When I want to take a shower I feel annoyed because the electricity is not on, but lucky my house has a dug well. Although I had to painstakingly lift the water, but it was better than continuing to feel a sticky body and a very uncomfortable smell.

After I finished the bath I felt so fresh, but the fatigue I felt was not completely gone.

In my room I tried to forget what I saw on the way home. It was so terrible it would probably be forever stored in the memories.

Thinking back to what was going on in this town, but there was no answer I could find. Until I gave up thinking about it, in the end the fatigue of both the physical and mental bodies made me fall into a deep sleep.

The next day I felt my body was amazing. There was no pain, not even the sore muscles that I suffered for weeks because of work were now gone.

Recalling what happened yesterday, I immediately opened the window of the room on the second floor and hoped that the outside conditions would change.

But unfortunately it didn't happen, what I saw during the trip to the house yesterday wasn't a dream. Along the residential street still lay the bodies of the neighbors in terrible conditions.

The stomach feels nauseous, I want to vomit to see everything, see the reality if what I experienced yesterday is not a mere nightmare.

Until my vision caught a giant insect roaming around the complex.

It was a praying mantis as tall as an adult man with four blood-stained scythes. It was so scary to see it, I immediately closed the window in fear that the monster would see me.

The howling of the dog was heard around followed by the sound of growling like a wild star, I felt that around my house was already surrounded by monsters.

In the room I tried to stay calm, trying not to make much noise. Thinking back to what was going on I found some possibilities.

First I thought if all this was the result of war, but whose problem was the war with. All I know is this country is not in conflict with any country.

The second one might be an alien invasion, it could explain why so many monsters roamed around. It sounds a little crazy but I can't think of any other possibility.

“OK the first possibility of this is the act of a foreign creature.” I tried to make a note.

“Then does a disaster like this only happen in the city or the whole world experienced the same thing?.” continues to record.

Then the next question made me very curious, which was about the mysterious voice I heard while fighting with dozens of centipedes and large rats.

“This must have something to do, but what.” I re-note.

But no matter how hard I thought about it, no answer I managed to find. Lying on the bed I thought about my next life.

What I saw made me think that the fictional stories in the novels I had read had come true. It would be too crazy if if the win were true.

“Somehow I started thinking about it. But it doesn't hurt to try isn't it?.”

In the novel it is told, after the world was rocked by a major disaster due to the appearance of monsters from inside the hole.

The human beings who managed to survive are given the gift of a power called the system.

A system that would make the humans become stronger when defeating monsters.

Like a game... All I have to do is say the key words.

Although I'm not sure, but still I try without hoping if this will work. But then what suddenly appeared in front of my face made my eyes wide.
