39. Imprisoned

Taken by the police, Budi was led to the police station. He was arrested on charges of assault committed by his pet monster against innocent citizens.

“Innocent citizens? Hem, pulling.” Said Budi in front of the police who were checking him.

The whistleblowers who made Budi deal with the authorities were none other than members of the Red Dagger gang who tried to attack him.

Budi did not know the details of the report, but what he heard was that six thugs who tried to make trouble accused him of unilaterally attacking.

“Did you enter this city with a monster?.” asked the investigator.

“No.” reply Budi briefly.

“Then what about the horse and the two dogs you saw?!.” The investigator's gaze was so sharp.

“Can't you tell the difference between an ordinary animal and a monster?.” Back to asking.

The police investigator was silent, he glanced at the other police colleagues who were with him in the interrogation room.

“Hey you, be polite when questioned by the police!.” said someone behind Budi, intimidation felt so clear from the man.

“A.... Asiyaap~.” Budi's reply which seemed to not care about the intimidation of the police, made both furious.

But they remained calm and resumed the question. Both the police looked at Budi. The young man currently only had one arm and one eye.

Although the situation looks inconclusive, but Budi is very calm and so relaxed as if he does not feel fear of anything.

Seeing it makes both Police think there are two possibilities why Budi is so relaxed, ‘Antara he is indeed a person who has special powers or just a fool.’ thought both.

It was because of that thought that they did not want to act rashly.

The policeman sitting in front of Budi again asked .“What is your purpose for coming to this city?.”

Be silent for a while as if thinking about something, until he replies, “I want to meet my neighbor. He took refuge in this place.” replied Budi honestly.

The policeman gave a small nod when he heard Budi's reply, he had often encountered the same case as this before.

Over the past few months Budi has been in frequent communication with neighbors who are none other than Roxy's employer. Conversations are both more common in email messages and often video calls.

The girl named Raya was very excited about the discussion about monster hunting, so Budi also thought that she liked fighting with monsters.

“So what's your neighbor's name?.” the police again asked.

“Sanjaya.” reply Budi by briefly mentioning the surname Raya.

But it caused an unexpected reaction. Budi felt the two policemen suddenly become so alert, their eyes stare even sharper and cold.

The thought that Budi is a human with special powers only strengthens because he has a relationship with the Sanjaya family.

But they are still not sure.

The police behind approached Budi and grabbed the young man's shoulder. “What is your business with that family?.” he said in an intimidating tone.

Budi just returned the sharp gaze of the Police with a bored look, “Kamu Naeya?, you wonder?.” reply Budi did not care. That obviously made the police very angry.

“Fucking bag!.”

With a hideous red face and protruding veins on his face, the man immediately slapped a punch into Budi's face, but another policeman immediately stopped his partner.

“Hey boy, if you continue to behave arrogantly like this, then you can be put in jail to know!.” the man who plays the role of the good Police began to provide threats of imprisonment.

There were five residents in the iron cage, they looked at Budi with full investigation. Their gazes continued to watch the young man from head to toe.

Seeing a young man with one hand and one eye made them think that Budi was not so strong. Then after being satisfied to pay attention to Budi, a big smile they lips everyone.

“Yo, what friends have you in this place? Were you caught stealing rat meat?.” Everyone laughed at the words of one of the prisoners.

But Budi calmly replied, “No, I am here because I am involved with the Red Dagger genk.” the actions of the young man instantly made the laughter of the prisoners disappear.

“Really, what did you do to deal with that Genk?.” the prisoner who seemed to be the leader of this place kept asking.

Although his face was filled with smiles, but Budi could feel bad feelings from the man.

Budi's gaze turned serious, he wanted to end the useless talk with these people as quickly as possible.

Seeing Budi's exciting face made all five shocked. But they soon came to their senses and thought that all they felt was imagination.

‘Can't it not be a disabled man like he can scare us?.’ thought the five prisoners.

“They annoy the wrong people.” says Budi. He prepares himself for a fight.

“Oh really, what did you do to the Red Dagger gang members?.” the man touched Budi's shoulder, his face began to show intimidation.

“My dogs gave them a lesson.” did not feel intimidation, Budi was still calm.

“Dog-dog? They?.” the man's face is getting darker.

“Yes, they are six people, my dog and horse made them unable to walk until next month.”

“Job!.”

The man returned the words of Budi with a blow to his stomach. Seeing that made the other prisoners laugh again.

Seeing his friend attacked, the prisoners immediately took revenge. They immediately attacked Budi simultaneously.
