S4 Chapter 50 "Hearting" The Best Brother

Today Rania prepares all the needs to go to Singapore. Dio was still at Anna's house, as Anna herself had asked Dio to stay at her home before leaving for Singapore.

Dio invites Rania to go out for a while just for lunch. Dio also wants to take Rania somewhere before Rania leaves for Singapore tomorrow.

"Ran, any time? We're having lunch outside, huh?" bring Dio.

"Emm .. actually Evan wants to take me to lunch too, Dio," replied Rania.

"Oh, yes, with Evan alone, you're careful on the road, I'll keep mom at home" Dio said.

"Yes, Dio. I'm sorry I made an appointment with Evan." Rania said in a heavy tone, she actually wanted to accept Dio's invitation, but she had already promised Evan first, so it was unpleasant to cancel with Evan.

"Ran," call Dio.

"Yes, what's up Dio?" ask Rania.

"Did Evan know we were separated?" ask Dio to Rania.

"Yes, he knows. I didn't tell him, anyway. He saw my lawsuit when we weren't in court. And, I told him to shut up on everything about our divorce, especially with mom. But, now that all my employees know, I've parted ways with you. What am I covering up for? After all we are over," replied Rania with a firm tone and a little relaxed without any regret.

"Yes too, I went to my mother's room. You will carefully depart, Ran," said Dio in a flat tone.

Dio walked to Anna's room, to make sure her mother-in-law had taken the medicine or not. Dio still considers Anna's mother-in-law. For Dio, there was no former mother-in-law, only an ex-wife.

"It's like it hurts to hear Rania is going to go with Evan. Was she this sick when I was with Najwa? I really feel pain and tightness in this chest" Dio murmured as he walked towards Anna's room.

He opened Anna's door carefully. Dio saw his mother-in-law sleeping in his room. He checked the small cup of medicine he had prepared for Anna. He saw that the cup was empty, because Anna had already taken the medicine.

Dio came out of his mother-in-law's room, because he was afraid of disturbing his resting mother-in-law. Dio sees Rania is tidy and gets ready to go to lunch with Evan.

"Dio, I'm picking up mom, okay?" rania.

"Yes, Ran. You picked up Evan, right?" ask Dio.

"Yes, he said it was still on the road" replied Rania.

Dio just stood still and sat on the sofa that was in the living room. In Dio's heart, he was eager to ban Rania from going with Evan. But, Dio had no right to ban Rania, because Dio was no Rania now. Rania also deserves to be happy with someone who sincerely loves her.

"May you always be happy, Ran. I can't ban you, because you're not my right anymore. But, this heart hurts so much, Ran. Seeing you will go with Evan with a face that looks happy and happy" Dio murmured.

Dio lowered his head, he pinched his forehead. Rania knew, Dio was currently being unwell with her. However, Dio was silent and did not forbid Rania from going with Evan.

"Why are you quiet, Dio? Why don't you ban me? You said you'd learn to love me? You should have banned me, because you also wanted to take me out to lunch. You shouldn't just be quiet, Dio. Speak up, I want you to forbid me from going with Evan, because I don't actually want to go with him either, I'm forced to" Rania murmured

Rania sat down beside Dio who had just been quiet. Rania unlocks her phone, actually she is eager to talk to Dio, and lures Dio to have Dio ban him from going with Evan. But, Rania undoes her intention to talk to Dio about it.

"That's Evan coming" said Dio as he sounded Evan's car horn that had entered my yard.

"Yes, I'm leaving first, Dio. Titip's mother," said Rania.

"Okay, you be careful. I didn't take you out, because I wanted to sleep" Dio said.

"Yes, it's okay, I'm leaving." Rania walks out of the house and meets Evan.

Dio sees Rania walking towards the yard, until Rania gets into Evan's car and leaves with Evan. Dio looks at Evan's car until it disappears from his sight.

Rania went to the park after lunch. Evan invites to the park because there are important things that Evan wants to talk about. Rania sits on a park bench under the shade of a Flamboyant Flower tree. Evan sat down beside Rania and brought her the cold drink he had bought earlier near the park.

"Emm .. yes, Van, why Van?" rania answered and asked Evan.

"It's okay, just ask" Evan replied.

"Ran, sorry, what's the problem, you can get divorced with Dio? Didn't you love each other long ago? ask Evan again.

"Sorry Van, it's my privacy issue, so I can't tell just anyone" Rania replied.

"I'm sorry I asked you that, I just want to know, because I love you, Ran," Evan said.

"I know you loved me a long time ago, and if you didn't, baby, there's no way you could have almost proposed to me. But, I'm sorry I can't, because I just consider you a friend, Van. No more than that" explained Rania.

"Yes, I know, Ran, but is there a chance for me this time?" ask Evan.

"Sorry, Van. I haven't thought about that. I want to focus on my mother first. Let's go home, pity mom alone at home," Rania asked.

"You were with Evan?" ask Anna.

"Yes, Mom. Mom, Rania wants to talk to me" replied Rania.

"Speak what? About Dio?" ask Anna.

"No, it's about Evan. Evan spoke to Rania. Want to propose to Rania again" replied Rania.

Indeed Evan had spoken to Rania, if he returned later from Singapore, Evan would propose to Rania. However, Rania immediately rejected him right then and there. Because Rania doesn't want to get married again.

"Evan talks like that?" ask Anna

"Yes, mom. But, Rania refused it," replied Rania.
