"O Allah, it's late in the afternoon, where is Dio? Did I just go home in a taxi? I've been waiting for him from after the dhuhur prayer, and this I finished the ashar prayer he hasn't returned yet? Where is he really? Did he meet Najwa? Uh...kok Najwa? Why did I think of Najwa? Not another woman?" Rania wondered in her heart.
He dared not call Dio or text Dio. He waited for Dio for hours in the hotel lobby, where he met his client.
Rania grumpily stared at her phone, no word from Dio in the least. He also looked back at the clock in his hand. The clock has shown at 16:30 WIB, and there is no sign of Dio returning to pick him up
"Where is this stone man, O God. If there's really nothing on the street, the house guy's telling me, if not, then where's he going?" A question constantly touched Rania's heart.
He sat down again and looked at the documents he had brought. He has successfully cooperated with his client. Rania closed the document again, and looked towards the front. There was no sign of Dio picking him up.
"Did I just send you a message, if I'm still waiting in the hotel lobby?" rania Gumam.
Finally Rania sends a message to Dio, informing him that she is waiting in the hotel lobby.
"Dio, I'm waiting in the hotel lobby." ~Rania.
He put his phone back in the bag. Suddenly a man called out to Rania, who was it. Rania turned to look at the man's voice.
"Evan?" Rania got up from her seat.
"You're here?" ask Evan.
"Yes, waiting for my friend, I haven't picked up yet" replied Rania.
"Those friends or guys you like?" ask Evan.
"It's none of your business, Evan!" tukas Rania's.
"Sorry, don't be angry again, can I sit here?" asked Evan gently.
"Please" said Rania by force.
"What do you need here?" ask Evan.
"From meeting with the client" he answered briefly.
Evan patiently invited Rania to speak even though Rania replied with a chuckle. Shortly after Rania's phone rang, a message came in and she opened it.
"Get out, I'm in the parking lot." ~Dio.
"The stone man! There's no subtlety when it comes to talking" Rania murmured. Rania replied to Dio's message.
"Y." Y." ~Rania.
Only that answer represented his sense of regret with Dio.
"Quick! 30 Seconds from now!" ~Dio.
Rania snorted annoyedly with Dio's reply. He's getting pissed at her.
"He thinks the distance to the lobby is 1 or 2 meters? 30 Seconds to arrive. Truly a stone head, not having the slightest courtesy!" rania muttered while preparing to get out of the lobby.
"Where are you going?" ask Evan.
"Home home, my friend is waiting in the parking lot. I'll go home first, Van." Rania directly exited the lobby and walked towards the parking lot quickly.
He's a little hard to walk because he wears heels. And he had to take off his heels. Because he didn't want to hear a scathing remark from Dio. Rania's breathing was panting, walking half-run from the lobby to the front parking lot.
"He made me suffer like this, O God. There is still a parking lot close to the lobby. It's a long way in the front parking lot. Damn it today," Rania muttered in annoyance.
Rania had arrived in front of Dio's car, she saw Dio waiting for her in front of the car by putting his two hands in his pants pocket.
"I said 30 seconds! Why 3 minutes?" snarled Dio while sharpening his eyes.
Rania did not want to lose to Dio, she also spoke a bit in a high tone to Dio.
"You think the lobby distance here is 1 or 2 meters, huh? Look, the lobby over there! And I also don't protest waiting for you from 1pm to 5pm." Rania was carried away by her emotions. Tired of walking, and took off his heels until he could run and quickly get to Dio's car, now he had to be snapped by Dio.
"Don't make it hard, come in!" tell Dio in a harsh tone.
"O Allah, he who insists, I sprayed. This heart of the stone man, O Allah. What's my fault in the gini snapping. If you don't want to pick up or don't want to drive, I don't have a problem. Salah himself recited what Abah and father said," muttered Rania.
"What did you say?" tukas Rania's.
"Basic luncher!" said Dio.
"My sound still works well, dear Mr. Dio," said Rania in annoyance.
"Don't say much, or I'll drop you in the woods!" he said it out loud until Rania's eardrum hurt.
"Please put it down" said Rania with a flat speech.
"Yes, I'll drop you in the middle of the forest" Dio said.
Rania just kept quiet and said nothing. She knew the man beside her was still not feeling well and was forced to drop off and pick her up.
The day had begun to evening, the journey was then covered in fog that fell a little thick in the afternoon. The cold had begun to penetrate around Rania's body, although Dio's car AC was slightly reduced. Dio suddenly stopped his car. I don't know what he's gonna do. Rania looked at Dio's face which still looked scary in her eyes.
"Down!" dio's Word.
"Ehh .. right, right? He didn't lie about dropping me off in the woods? Where the fog is thick and it is already evening again. The streets are also empty. O God, how strong he is" murmured Rania with fear.
"I said get off, yeah get off!" tell Dio by closing his eyes.
"What do you mean? Tell me to get down here?" rania asked with teary eyes.
"You don't feel the rear tire screwy, huh?" ask Dio with an emphasis.
Rania just shook her head, because she really didn't feel it. He only felt heartache at Dio, because his words were too painful. Rania and Dio got out of the car. Dio saw his rear tire go down. Dio kicked the tire of ha car violently. He was very angry because there was a flat tire event.
"Damn! Wear the tire camper." Dio said harshly and kicked his tyre.
Dio picked up the jack and spare tire in the car, he was preparing to replace the flat tire. Rania only looked at Dio who was changing his car tire. It was getting darker, the weather was cloudy and a lot of lightning was striking. Dio hasn't finished changing his car.
Rania felt water from the sky falling on her head. Yeah, it's raining, the streets are a little quiet, there aren't many vehicles passing by, just a few. Dio was still riled up with his car tyre. The rain is getting heavier, Dio also has not finished installing his tires.
"Get in, it's raining!" tell Dio by closing his eyes.
"But you," Rania's words came to a halt as she watched her eyes sharpen even more.
Rania got into the car, the rain was getting heavier, she saw Dio was still riled up to install tires. Rania picked up the umbrella that was behind the seat. He came out carrying an umbrella and patted Dio who was installing a tire. There was only 1 umbrella in Dio's car. He was covering Dio, and he was willing to rain beside Dio.
Dio's done installing the tires. They got in his car. Dio saw Rania soaking wet to shiver. Dio is also a human who has a sense of caring, even though he is rude to Rania, he also has a little compassion for Rania.
"Wear my suit, you're cold like that." Dio picked up his suit which he always carried in the car.
"Thank you" said Rania.
Dio turned off his car's AC, as he also felt a chill. Though he was not as wet as Rania. They fell silent again, not a word came out of their mouths until they reached Rania's house.
"Dio thank you" said Rania while getting off Dio's car.
"Yes, equally. Say hello to Om Reno and Aunt Ana, saying I can't stop by because my clothes are wet" Dio said.
"Yes, thank you again" said Rania.
Dio immediately drove his car quickly to go home. Rania walks in, and she realizes Dio's suit is still attached to warm her body.
"Eh, is this Dio's suit? Well he's gone. Let it be, I'll wash it first" Rania murmured.
Rania came in to welcome her father and mother. They were worried that until 8pm they had not reached home.
"Oh my God, son. Where have you been? You're soaking wet like this? Where's Dio?" ask Reno.
"Sorry Dad, we're home late. Dio also met his client suddenly, and then when we got home, Dio's car tire deflated. When Dio replaced it with heavy rain. I had to protect Dio, like this. He was also soaking wet, so he went straight home" explained Rania.
"Yes, you've made father and Abah worried. Now clean your body" Reno said.
"Yes dad." Rania went upstairs to her room.
Rania hung Dio's coat from earlier covering her body. He looked at Dio's coat which he hung with a smile.
