"Levin! Who is that guy?" Clea whispered with an annoyed and curious face to Levin, who was sitting next to her while observing the map. On the other side of the bench, sitting Merasus who was staring out of the car enjoyed the green scenery that moved as if circling the train. They were on their way to Crescabes on a train served by Edwin. After talking about what happened to the villagers and about the legend of Llemas, the village chief kept it a secret from the outside and documented it in secret.
Merasus's attention was split as he sensed the two people who were still very foreign to him were having secret conversations. He then stood up and sat down to the front bench and sucked closer to Levin who was sitting in the middle. "Well," he said amazed. "it turns out my Master already has a girlfriend yes" he said while wearing a sad expression. "I want to sit next to him too."
"A.. I'm not her boyfriend, you idiot! La.. Who are you anyway?" said Clea while staring at the strange Merasus. While Levin was silent while looking at the map, he thought hard and did not care about his surroundings.
"Not boyfriend? So you're just friends, aren't you? Whoa!" merasus shouted while hugging Levin, burying his face in his body. "Then I'm very happy! Then she'll be my girlfriend."
Levin tried to get his face out of the chest of Merasus who hugged him tightly, he thrashed around unable to breathe. While Clea looked at him with a dead red face.
"A.. What are you doing." he pushed Merasus. "Bie.. Let him be alone!"
"Gee.. Are you jealous?" Merasus smiled cunningly. "But unfortunately, last night after we killed the lizard, we turned to an inn and rested there together. We had dinner, chatted, and skiddip together all night until morning."
The driver of the train who was driving stayed stuck pretending not to listen. His face was jealous. In his entire life he had never been seduced like that. The conversation made his virgin vein system thrash on the rampage. He shook his head and tried to ignore them. "By the eel's skull, did the boys really save us?" rainya in the heart.
Levin shook his small head without turning his gaze away from the map. "That didn't happen Clea." she shifted her seat and stretched out her map again. "Let me be alone for a little while, my tired body can't serve at once both of you and our plans today."
Meanwhile Clea looked at the two of them while pulling her cheeks in annoyance. His expression seemed resigned, seeing the look of Merasus who was very beautiful and very charming. He is struggling with his own mind. "A.. What are you thinking stupid! Why do you feel jealous of that rancid boy." he thought to himself.
"I want you guys to shut up for a minute, I need to find an effective place to go to for the first time in Crescabes. The village chief gave us food supplies, didn't he? Why don't you just eat." said Levin.
Merasus crept to Levin and hugged him from the front, sat on his leg which stretched forward and lay down on his body. "If you tell me to shut up, I'll shut up, Master."
The train went through a rocky road and made the whole car shake. The mobs sitting at Levin's feet were shaken up and down, shaking, and the chariot hit a bigger rock and shook them harder.
"Aah!" Merasus groaned with a strange tone. Clea was getting raging. While Levin tried to release the body of Merasus who was vibrating on his thigh, and make them look more strange.
"Stop this driver!" she shouted Clea while standing up. "I'm going down here, thank you." The driver pulled the horse by the rope, the carriage stopped, Clea then jumped on the ground.
"Tu.. Wait, where are you going?" levin asked while trying to get rid of Merasus, while he ignored him and continued to hug Levin. "Come on Mera, get out of the way!"
"Good, master!" he's away.
Levin got off the carriage and walked on the slightly muddy ground following Clea's footsteps. Clea kept walking with long strides while clenching her arrow bow. Levin ran towards him quickly. "You why Clea?"
"Leaving you with that woman, I'm just afraid to bother you" she said quickly as she walked.
"What's? Of course not! You're very useful to me you know? My life was saved several times because of you!"
"After all," Levin said slowly. "Where are you going?"
Clea was speechless, she frowned her face poignant. "You are right" he said softly. "I don't have a home to go back to. But it's my business."
"Come on," Levin held onto his shoulder. "I don't have a home to go back to. I'm not sure the cave on the mountain is home, even though my father is there. But if you think so, then that place is your home too, and my father is your father too."
Clea's teary eyes almost cried. His breath was wavering, but tears fell on his cheeks, and he was crying softly. His hands rubbed his tears and snot. After his family was destroyed he never felt freedom at all, he was sold and enslaved all this time. He never thought about returning to his home village, because all of it had been crushed into dust. Nor did he have any relatives or relatives to return to, he knew that he would become an independent and loner when he was free. Or rather, if he is free.
But now that changes, since Levin's arrival in his life he realizes that he still has attachment to his fellow humans. He felt a sense of security, a feeling he had when he was in his family. He felt warm, because the care given to him was like the feelings given to him in the past. Now that he realizes Levin's important role in his life, only Levin is the reason he's still alive, just because it's Levin that he can breathe to this day.
"Mera, where did the train go?" levin asked, his face confused in panic after looking back and realizing that the train was gone.
"You said we'd walk, right? So I told him to go."
Levin's face turned to panic. "What's? But our food supply is still there!" levin cried out in panic, "you've overdone Mera, I can't believe you did that."
"What's? But you said yourself that we're going on foot... Ma's.. I mean, Clea..."
They were silent for a moment. Clea was still crying and wiping her tears, waiting for Levin to calm her down. But Levin himself was now sad. The equipment and travel preparations that were quite complete for one full group of adventurers disappeared with the blink of an eye.
Merasus looked down sad to feel guilty, making the three people look like a family in distress in the middle of the road. The atmosphere there was grim like the smoke of a blacksmith's chimney, decorated with dark skies that looked cloudy.
"A.. I'm sorry master." said Merasus limply, "I'll replace it later, if I can."
"Oh, everything is gone. Now we're gonna walk to Cresca. According to the map, we are now close to Dreydan. Once we get there, we'll rest and go to our destination the next day."
Levin stroked Clea's head, "and you, Clea," she said as she wiped the woman's tears, "we must not part. For now and then you're my family, and you're gonna live where I live."
"What about me?" cut off Merasus, "if Clea is your family, then she is your little sister right? Well, since brother and sister should not marry, how about we marry master? So that I will also stay with you."
"Ti.. Can't!" clea shouted, "you are only her slave, the slave is a slave. Levin is my slave so you are my slave too." Clea said, putting on a judes face.
"After all," Clea continued. Even if you're beautiful doesn't mean Levin will pick you as his girlfriend. Beauty is indeed the strongest magnet in terms of romance, but the person who chooses beautiful people to be the foundation as an ideal partner is a fool, he forgets the most important part, namely love and understanding. Levin's not a fool, I'm sure of that, so I'm sure he'll think twice about choosing you."
