CH. 3 - Sword of Calemia

"This is a map showing the existence of a legendary sword, Calemiara. The sword was used by the war god Calemia to kill seven giant demons that once ruled the entire Ydaya continent. The holy sword was made by himself and Caliph, the god of Science and magic." the witch then gave the map to Levin. Levin took the map and opened it slowly, it showed a map of Cadmuk island. There are seven black dots on the map.

"The seven black spots indicate the location where the god Calemia sealed the spirits of the seven demons he defeated, he sealed them on the island of Cadmuk because there was the island he considered the holiest. In each demon he defeated there were pieces of crystal that combined would show the location of Calemiara's sword. For that go to each point, do the ritual and get all the crystals" said the witch

"A.. Whahuh? Why me? I don't know anything about this. I'm also not sure I'll be able to do what you said just now. Why don't you do it yourself?" levin asked the witch while lifting her body up.

"Because you're the Sagmorat, Levin. You are the bearer of light that Akemon refers to in his prophecy. I can't help you on your journey, you have to walk alone. It's too dangerous for me to show myself on this island. Do this work, save the world, free the souls of your mother and the Faveroths, for you are their only hope." Levin then fell silent for a moment. He had not expected that his destiny had never led him to a peaceful life. His life as a royal babu who lifted heavy wood now turned into a carrier of the burden of the entire island on his shoulders. He did not expect his fate would change in just one night.

"Ka.. Then then. Where should I start?" levin asked with a more lethargic face than before.

"Find me on Mount Dormin, near the kingdom of New Vamor. I'll guide you there." said the witch, stroking Levin's head and Wander's younger brother, who was silent.

"You won't ask anything about your son's first witch master? Ally Awaru?" ask Baron

"I know he'll be safe with you Baron. I'll meet him later this afternoon. Of course after the slave guard gave it to you. After all, he is your partner, and I will see him later, what should I doubt?" said the witch with a smile.

Don't worry Wander, we'll meet every day, you'll live with Baron and your brother Ally." the witch then looked at Levin expectantly, looking as sad as she had in her eyeballs, he did not know what the future would give him. The witch then retreated backwards, bowed her body and walked towards the door, she then disappeared quickly in the depths of the forest. The cottage was then silent, Levin's face was no different from before, he was very confused and frightened. He did not know what he had to decide, to do what the witch said or to go far from the island and start a new life.

"I will bring Ally and Wander to live with me in Wimara, a kingdom far from here. I won't force you to do what the old man told you, it's your decision. If Akemon's teacher's prophecy is correct about Sagmorat, then I shouldn't worry about Ydaya's fate, but if you won't go, you can go with us, you can go with us, and only the goddess Hartlova knows what happened" Baron told Levin

Levin's face changed when he heard the word 'mother' coming out of his sister's mouth. "If mother and the other Faveroths were controlled by Lost Souls when they saw Adacia's eyes. Could it be that I can return their spirits back with those eyes? Would I be able to save the world that way without having to defeat ten Faveroths?" levin asked himself. Raising his body, his lethargic face now became excited and hopeful.

"Is that a yes, Mr Sagmorat?" asked Baron with a smile

Levin then put his hands together, lowered his head and knelt to the Baron.

"Please train me! Teach me your martial arts and make me strong! Stay here with me and make me your disciple, your highness Baron Florent!" levin said begging to Baron. Baron was silent for a moment, and he placed his right hand on Levin's head, then held his shoulders and lifted him up.

"For now, go to your room and learn to meditate. I'll tell you how, do it while I'm fishing in the river with your sister" Baron said

"Day starts in the afternoon. The beautiful and peaceful village of Foragar looks very amazing with twilight light. The flowing river water and the sound of leaves rubbing against each other made the place an ideal place to meditate. While Levin was still meditating, he sat in the lotus position and breathed slowly. While his sister Wander, he was eating fish caught greedily, he then looked towards the Baron who was sitting looking at the window. The boy offered his food, the Baron just smiled and shook his head, signaling he rejected the offer.

"I'm going out, you take care of your brother Levin who's meditating in his room. Wake him up if you need to, I think I'll be gone for a while" Baron said, wiping Wander's head. He then stepped out to the next village, Mofur village.

The baron runs through the path to the west, where the village is located. He wore a veil and robe that was all black and hid a small sword behind it.

It became even darker after he reached Mofur. Although it was late at night, there were a lot of people passing by there, smelling the pungent smell of fish from the direction of the pier, the fishermen there were busy and happy with their fish catch.

He had gone to the village when he was a child. At that time he was taught to kill a thief who fled through the waters to the village. He killed the thief as an exercise by a teacher who was a royal knight.

The baron arrived at Homer's tavern. The tavern is located in a dark and quiet alley, although the tavern is quite famous among many people. He walked down the alley, he walked through the cobbled streets muddled by puddles of water. Seen two people wearing robes at the end of the alley outside the tavern, Baron narrowed his eyes, their shape was covered by shadows because it was too dark. The baron then approached them slowly, he placed his hand in a cloak pocket and sharpened his consciousness.

"This is the last slave of the Baron lord, I brought him to you as promised" said the soldier, while the slave only fell silent bowing his head. The baron opened the slave's veil and noticed his neck, a sign similar to that of Levin and Wander. She then raised her chin up to see her face more clearly, the beautiful blue eyes of the slave then looked at her gently, her small lips slightly opened expressing her being confused, she said, she has long brown hair, which fits perfectly with her small, shy body. Baron's face turned red, he turned his gaze and scratched his neck somewhat embarrassedly.

"The.. What's your name, boy?" the Baron asked the slave after acting a bit strange, he looked back at the slave's face, the Baron's face turned crimson.

"I'm Ally" said the slave in a very soft voice. The baron was then shocked by his voice, he reflexively let out a small scream and shamefully covered his mouth back with his hands.

"A... What's going on with me?" he said in his heart, his heart pounding.

"Act... I didn't expect him to be this adorable, hold your feelings Baron!" He said again, while the soldier looked confused to see the strange behavior of the nobleman in front of him.

"Ka.. Then let's go home. Uh I mean come with me" she said, then patted her in shame. Meanwhile the boy looked at her confusedly. He lowered his head and raised his eyebrows, his small lips slightly opened, making the Baron's heart beat even tighter. Baronpun then took a deep breath, and puffed his chest forward.

"A.. I'm sorry. My body is a little unpleasant so I'm a little strange now" said Baron with a sigh

"Then thank you, guard. Our business is done here. To the unconscious guards in the woods, I think it's your fault for diverting the other guards. But I think it would be good also if I give you a compensation, please take some of this gold from me. And don't forget to keep our secrets well" Baron then gave the guard a small bag of gold in his cloak pocket. He bent his body and extended his hand to Ally.

"Follow with me, Ally" said Baron, smiling sweetly at Ally. Ally grabs Baron's hand, and they walk out of the alley.
