Levin's clothes were drenched due to the waterfall that hit him when crossing into the cave. His clothes made Levin's steps heavier. Levin then stopped stepping, he stared intently at the darkness before his eyes, he raised his sword high and used his magic to emit light so that the cave became bright.
Levin's eyes widened in surprise as he saw a large, red head staring at him sharply on the roof of the cave. His eyes were round and bulging, his body hanging above, his black wings covering the roof of the cave and his long tail waving down. That figure was a dragon.
Levin could not move, his eyes fixed on seeing the dragon continuously glaring towards him. The dragon then went down, he retreated backwards and bowed his head to Levin.
"The Sagmorat! After all this time I waited, you finally came" said the dragon. As Levin grew more confused, he had just seen a legendary creature that should have gone extinct talking to him. He asked the dragon.
"Ka.. You are a dragon! Da.. And how can the dragon speak? Ma'am.. Shouldn't you be extinct?" levin asked tremblingly, his entire body then weakened when he heard the dragon speak.
"Pacify yourself Sagmorat. And lower your sword. Extinguish your magic. I know what you meant and what your purpose was to come here. Fate brought you here, I've been waiting for it for hundreds of years" said the dragon in a hoarse voice and slightly echoed in the large cave.
The dragon leaped from wall to wall with agility. His black and strong legs clung like a large spiked lizard to the tree trunk, Levin's wide-open eyes following the dragon's movements with fear and anxiety. The dragon then spouted fire out of its mouth into the candle lights that lined the cave, thus making the cave brighter.
The shining sword in the hand of the drenched youth then dimmed. He ran out of mana and his physical energy was drained by the feeling of fear creeping inside his stomach. His eyes turned around and looked at the rocky room, he saw bones scattered all over the cave, there was no sign of life there other than the dragon and himself. He then saw an altar in the middle of the cave, a large chest wrapped in chains that locked the altar coffin, the form of the chest looks like the chest he found when he was in the demon cave yesterday, the tomb of a demon named Japroth who sealed a piece of Calemiara sword crystal.
"That's right, Levin Awaru. It is one of the seven tombs of demons defeated by the war god Calemia. I can hear your thoughts, Sagmorat. I can even hear your blood flowing faster every time your heart beats, I can also see your past just by smelling you." the dragon stomped its feet back and landed on the chain that wrapped around the altar. The chain was pitch-black, so strong the chain held the dragon's body unshakably.
"Include me, Mr. Sagmorat. I am the daughter of Lucarith, the second demon to be defeated by the god Calemia. True enough, Lucarith was the only demon who bore a child, even though he was a man and had no mate." The dragon then descended from the chains, and, he was constantly moving without stopping. He then continued his words.
"My name is Vaxhella, I'm the only daughter my father has born on this mountain. When Calemia killed my father, he cursed me to become a dragon, I was still a baby. He cleansed my destiny, uprooted my lust and dispelled my feelings, so that I could continue to survive for thousands of years without hunger and boredom in this little cave where I was born." said the dragon while lying on the floor and stomping his feet upwards like a spoiled house cat.
"You know, not everyone who comes to this cave is looking for the treasure you mean. Some of them may come with good goals. They might just come around here to fish or to hunt. You shouldn't have killed everyone you met!" shout Levin. The dragon laughed, jumped onto the roof of the cave and stuck there.
"Well or evil, all who see me must be destroyed, that is one of the commandments of the god Calemia to me. You know, I can smell and know the evil intentions of everyone here, trust me that they're all just people with bad intentions, there's nothing you should worry about about them. Before, there was a group of people who wanted to hunt me down in this cave. I could feel their curiosity in the distance, those people were carrying swords and arrows that were dangerous to other animals, of course those junkyard toys would not be able to hurt me. They went into this cave and tried to light a torch, no one saw me because it was dark at that time, of course my beautiful eyes could see in the dark. I helped those in distress by burning fire in my mouth, they burned and turned into bones instantly. They should have thanked me for helping them light the torch" said the dragon, laughing in a hoarse voice. Levin clenched his hand in annoyance.
"A father of the victim you killed was waiting outside. He thinks that his son is still alive and held captive in this room. Didn't you fuck with him?" levin said in an annoyed tone. The dragon came down from the roof and approached Levin.
"Then where is he now? Will a father who loves his son send a child to save him? Does fear defeat his love? If so, then his love is not as strong as you imagine. Know, Sagmorat, if one loves each other sincerely, no other feeling can stop and separate them, despite the burning fear though. A father who is outside only loves his child by force of nature, all animals are afraid to lose their child, it is only an instinct. The true feeling of love is not bound by the laws of nature, it grows in the deepest depths of the heart and a god will not be able to stop it. Then why should you care? If he did love her, then he would lose his wits and come in here to save her, he wouldn't be afraid to lose his life, because he knew that he would die when his loved ones died." the dragon then turned around, he jumped towards the wall with a crack and put his head inside. He carried a sword inside and threw it on the floor towards Levin.
"Give him his son's sword. It will be difficult for me to find his bones here, so give me the swords of these hunters and expel him from here. I knew that he had seen my tail when I killed the bear that troubled the citizens, but tell him that the great snake that killed his cubs had already been killed, and give this bone to him as proof." said the dragon, giving him a strange large bone which he had kept in his tail. Levin was puzzled, he was silent for a moment, he took the bone and watched it, he was confused because he had never seen a bone like this before, he asked the dragon.
"What is this bone? I've never seen him before. I've seen bear bones but this one I've never seen at all" Levin said, flipping through the bones.
"That's a dragon bone, young man. They were the pets of demons millions of years ago. Give the bones to them, and tell them that the sword of his son is stuck in his head and that there is a burning mark around the bones of the snake, so that he would not suspect why the snake was dead and became bones." said the dragon. Levin's face was confused beyond measure, he still had thousands of questions in his head, he just nodded and packed the sword and carried it, he said, the dragon helped put the bone on the swords Levin was carrying.
"Come back here if you manage to drive them out of here, Sagmorat. We have a destiny to speak of." said the dragon, bowing his head and smiling at Levin. Levin then rested his head and went to the slit of the waterfall.
