STRANGE ATTITUDE

The break bell just rang. The class seemed excited to leave the class. The same goes for Nathan, Andhika, and Bayu. Quickly, they put the books into the bag. They were afraid that if they did not go to the canteen immediately, all the seats provided by the canteen owner would be filled with other students. Meanwhile, Daniel was still sitting casually in his chair. He hasn't even put his books in a bag yet.

"Aren't you in the cafeteria?" nathan asked Daniel.

"To the cafeteria" Daniel answered briefly.

"When you put your books in the bag! If we don't get there fast, we'll have a hard time finding a seat."

"Yes, yes" said Daniel, then put his books in a bag.

Bayu got up from his chair. Seeing Daniel, his mouth was itching to tease him. He wanted to know how Daniel reacted.

"Oh yeah, Niel. By the way, you haven't told us about your girl. Dong's stories! Don't make people curious" he said with a mocking smile.

Nathan and Andhika are both shocked to hear Bayu's words. There is a sense of annoyance that they feel with the behavior of Bayu now. May Bayu say that to Daniel. Clearly they had agreed to keep what they saw yesterday in the cafe a secret and find out secretly the girl Daniel met outside the cafe. When they could be expressed, they both sighed, giving in to the stupidity of his best friend.

Daniel looked confused, not understanding why Bayu could have such thoughts about him.

"My girl? Since when do I have a girl? Where did you hear it from?"

"Niel, don't listen to Bayu's talk! His brain is again erring, so the talk is bad," Nathan said a little panicked.

Bayu looked resentfully at Nathan. It's as if Nathan said that his brain was erring. Obviously he also saw what he saw back then.

Andhika whispers make Bayu close his mouth tightly. He closed his eyes for a moment, realizing the stupidity he had just done. He could have spoken like that in front of Daniel. Now, he could understand why Nathan was mad at him. Nathan is trying to cover up a secret that was almost revealed because of his prank.

"Than, why are you angry with Bayu? What's wrong with Bayu?" daniel looked confused.

"Emm. gini, Niel. Bayu it—"

"We tried a new joke again" Andhika cut into the potluck. That was all I thought about in his brain.

"It's really just kidding. How is that weird joke? It seemed almost a fight earlier," Daniel asked increasingly puzzled.

"Really, Niel. We're looking for a new joke. I think on television. What's his name? Prank or what's his name," Andhika explained nervously.

"That's what Andhika said. We tried again to make prank," continued Nathan reassured.

"Oh. I thought what was. Whose idea is that?"

"My father" Nathan replied with a small laugh.

"fast. Find another idea! The idea is not good" Daniel critiques. He got up from his chair and walked away.

Nathan, Andhika, and Bayu both sighed in relief. They thought Daniel would be suspicious, but he just believed. Nathan and Andhika then stared intently at Bayu, making Bayu unconsciously step back.

"Sorry, sorry. I had completely forgotten," Bayu said in a soft voice. He felt guilty for his two friends.

"Kok you can forget anyway, Yu. Fortunately, Daniel believed my and Nathan's words. Otherwise, Daniel might be angry because we see his behavior in the cafe," said Andhika also in a quiet voice.

"I'm really sorry. I don't know, my mouth is really itching to talk about Daniel's girl."

Daniel stopped his steps. He looked at his three friends who were still in their seats.

"Than, Dhik, Yu, are you going to the cafeteria or not? Just say it fast, now even you who are slow. My stomach is hungry" cried Daniel.

Nathan, Andhika, and Bayu immediately ended their conversation. In order not to arouse suspicion, they immediately set foot after Daniel who was waiting for them in front of the classroom door. It was so strange to keep something from Daniel. It was like a thief in hiding. Rarely Daniel can be close to a girl. Since Daniel didn't tell me anything, they'll secretly find out.

"What do you want to eat?" nathan asked his three best friends when he got a seat.

"I want chicken noodles. Order yes," said Bayu quickly.

"Me too" said Andhika looking at the cart with chicken noodles in the corner of the cafeteria.

"If you are, Niel?" nathan asked Daniel.

Not a word came out of Daniel's mouth. He didn't even look at Nathan who was waiting for his answer. His eyes continued to look at the entire cafeteria room, looking like he was looking for something or someone.

"Niel, what do you want to eat?" nathan asked back.

Daniel. He quickly looked up at Nathan who was standing waiting for his answer.

"Just like you guys" he replied coldly.

Nathan sighed with Daniel's attitude. Apparently, Daniel did not realize that he had seen his strange behavior since.

"Yes, that's it. Oh yeah, I'll call it a drink, okay?"

"Yes. Bite the message! I'm a laper, here," tell Daniel.

Nathan grunted in annoyance. Daniel told him like that, acting like a king. His two eyes then led to the chicken noodle cart. It looks like some people are waiting there. Instead of waiting in line more and more, he rushed to go there.

The cafeteria was indeed a favorite spot for students from various classes when the break bell rang. So it is very natural that the atmosphere in the cafeteria today is very crowded like being in the market. Not just eating and drinking, joking and chatter they do to unwind after the lesson is over.

It took Nathan two minutes to get back to his seat. In addition to having to queue, he also had to go back and forth carrying four bowls of chicken noodles and four glasses of iced tea.

"You are outrageous, yes. No one wants to help me get chicken noodles. What do you think I am? Your waiter?" his nag.

"That's right," said Bayu smiling satisfied. He began to feed the chicken into his mouth.

Nathan again snorted in annoyance, while Andhika laughed a little at Bayu's words. He also began to bribe chicken noodles into his mouth like Bayu. While chewing slowly on the chicken noodles, his eyes looked at Daniel who had not touched his chicken noodles. Just like Nathan, he had seen Daniel's strange behavior ever since they entered the canteen. It was obvious that he was looking for someone.

"Who are you looking for, Niel?" andhika asked after swallowing the chicken noodles in her mouth.

Andhika's question makes Daniel focus again on his best friend. His eyes were still cold, looking like he wanted to eat someone.

"Who are you looking for, Niel?" ask Andhika again.

"Nothing" he answered briefly.

To reduce his irritation, Daniel pulled the glass of iced tea and sipped it slowly. It was also disappointing to see the person he was looking for was not in the same place as him.

Andhika no longer asked. From Daniel's movements, he could tell that Daniel was looking for a girl who had a conversation with him outside the cafe two days ago. Not only Andhika who realized it, Nathan and Bayu also realized it. Seeing Daniel's behavior, they became increasingly curious about the girl Daniel met at that time.
