"Where is Daniel? He said buy a snack. How long, gini," Nathan's scolding paced near the glass window of the room. His eyes were not staring at the lonely road.

"Yes, Than. How come Daniel didn't go back and forth, huh? It's been half an hour. Usually it is not long like gini," continued Bayu with eyes fixed on the television show.

"Prophe dong, Than," Andhika said, trying to calm Nathan, "maybe Daniel bought his snacks in a faraway place."

"Far from where? Do we gather here twice? We have gathered here dozens of times. You'll know for yourself there's only one stall near here. At least ten minutes to go back and forth from there to here" Nathan said, sighing long, trying to dampen his emotions. He sat down near Andhika who looked calm.

Andhika thought for a moment. What Nathan said is true. It shouldn't take long for Daniel to go to the stall because the distance is so close, especially until it takes half an hour. That doesn't make sense. But he still has to think positively.

"Maybe the stall is closed, so Daniel has to buy a snack somewhere far away."

"I don't think so, Dhik. If the stall closes, Daniel should have come back here to get the bike. There's only one in here. If you buy somewhere else, it means you have to go to the minimarket on the side of the highway there. It is impossible for Daniel to go there on foot" said Bayu without taking his eyes off the television screen.

Nathan and Andhika looked at each other, not believing what Bayu had just said. For the first time they thought Bayu's words made sense. Many times Bayu mess up their plans. But right now, they agree with Bayu.

"Why, Dhik?" tanya Bayu looked strangely.

"You heard me? There are footsteps. Let it be Daniel again" Andhika said as she sharpened her sense of hearing.

Justright. The host who was waiting and talked about from earlier finally appeared also in front of the room door that was wide open. With two plastic bags in his hand, he stepped into the room.

"Well, this is the man I've been waiting for. Where have you been, Niel?" nathan asked enthusiastically.

"Buy a snack" replied Daniel briefly. He sat down and placed two plastic bags in front of Nathan, Andhika, and Bayu. He then adjusted his breath and wiped the sweat that flowed profusely on his forehead.

"No. Warungannya. That's what I bought there," Daniel replied calmly.

Bayu's eye gaze immediately led to a small white plastic bag. His hand took it and opened it.

"Tumben you bought a beginning cake. You bought this at the stall too?" ask Bayu curious.

Seeing Bayu holding a wet cake given by Khalisha's grandmother, Daniel suddenly seized it. He did not want anyone else to eat the cake that was given to him, even to his friend.

Not only Bayu who was shocked by the behavior of Daniel just now, Nathan and Andhika also stared in shock. This is the first time they've seen Daniel unwilling to share a meal with them, let alone a wet cake like that. He even took it from Bayu's hands. They had no idea Daniel liked to eat cakes like that.

"Niel, share the cake. Very tickle," said Bayu with a gaze that is still fixed on a white plastic bag.

Daniel then offered the snacks he bought at the stall earlier.

"You eat this! I'm tired of buying snacks for you."

"But I've never eaten a cake like that. To dong, Niel. I also want to taste the cake," said Bayu want to take back the plastic bag containing the wet cake.

Daniel immediately brushed off Bayu's hand. Strictly, he said, "This cake was given to me. Only I can eat it."

Nathan and Andhika are really curious about Daniel's attitude. After returning from the stall, Daniel's attitude became strange. It seemed, something had happened when he bought the snack earlier. Maybe that's what brought Daniel home long ago. And unfortunately, none of them were with him when he was outside.

"Who is the cake given to you? I think it's really important" Nathan asked with a probing look.

"From her grandmother Khalisha," she replied with a face made as calm as possible. To be honest, just looking at the cake, his heart was already happy. He was looking forward to meeting Khalisha at school.

"Khalisha's Grandmother? Who her? You never told me anything about Grandma."

However, after he finished the story, the response he got instead made him upset. Nathan, Andhika, and Bayu are seen holding back laughter. Though he told it seriously, but to them it seemed like a funny story.

"It looks like you like that girl named Khalisha. I wonder what the guy is like. Is her face pretty?" nathan said while imagining the figure of a girl who is liked by his best friend.

"Do you know which class she is in?" andhika asked interested in Daniel's story.

"Yes, I know which class she is in" she replied briefly.

"You calm down, Niel. We're ready to help you make a girl's deketin" Nathan said excitedly.

"Yes, Niel. We will help you" continued Bayu.

"You're all nothing, anyway. Who likes girls the same. I was just curious about him. Nothing more than that" elak Daniel was ashamed.

Nathan, Andhika, and Bayu chuckled at Daniel's embarrassed expression. This moment was very rare for his cold friend. Finally, there was someone who could melt his heart. Of course, they are increasingly curious about the girl who managed to get Daniel's heart. They can't wait to meet that girl.
