Take My Heart's

Take My Heart's
TRAUMATISED

Since the lunch with Khalisha's grandparents, Daniel has been doing his act to get the girl's heart. All forms of attention he always showed Khalisha. Although Khalisha herself felt uncomfortable with the dislike of the girls who liked Daniel, she could not deny that she liked Daniel's attention. Daniel's attitude often reminds him of his father who always paid attention to him and made him the number two woman after his mother.

The school bell for the sign of coming home has rang out loud. Khalisha who was outside of her class looked around her. He did not find Daniel at all. Daniel usually waits for him in front of his class, then takes him home. It was a bit sad not to find Daniel in front of his class, but he could only hold him in his heart.

Mayang circulated his gaze around him, looking for a figure he usually met in front of his class.

"Tumben Daniel isn't nongol here? Usually we go out, the guy's already here."

"Not knowing either. He said there was a repeat. Perhaps now in her class again, " replied Khalisha casually.

"If so you go home with me, yes" pinta Mayang enthusiastic.

Khalisha stared confusedly. He no longer knows what reason he should use to reject Mayang's invitation. She has refused to go home with him too often. Not because he doesn't like to go home with her, but because there's something he can't tell others.

"Come, Lis. Go home with me, yeah. This time it was. There was no Daniel. Please," said Mayang pleading.

Khalisha was silent. He let himself listen to Mayang's words. He kept walking down that long hallway.

It didn't feel like his steps had reached the school yard. With enthusiasm, Mayang pulled Khalisha's hand towards a car parked not far from where he was. He spontaneously waved his hand with his cheerful smile.

"We're going home now?" asked the middle-aged man who was none other than Mayang's father.

"Yes, Pa. But before, we take my friend first yes, Pa," said Mayang, then opened the door for Khalisha, "yuk, come in!"

Meanwhile, Daniel hurriedly stuffed his books into the bag. Because the repetition of the last lesson, inevitably he went home a little late because he had to focus on the repetition today.

It has become a routine activity to go and go home with Khalisha. Besides being able to be alone with Khalisha, when she reached Khalisha's house, Khalisha's grandparents definitely offered her to have lunch at her house. It was one of the things he liked the most when he stopped by Khalisha's house. Not because he was starving, but because of the warmth that was created there that he did not get in his house.

With a bag attached to one of his arms, he quickly stepped out of class. He hopes that Khalisha is still waiting for him in his class. Nathan, Andhika, and Bayu were just shaking their heads at Daniel's behavior. They were no longer surprised by Daniel's exaggerated attitude. Since meeting with Khalisha, Daniel's attitude is very different from the previous one.

Arriving in front of Khalisha's class, Daniel immediately circulated his gaze. The smile that was originally on his lips instantly disappeared. He was disappointed not to find the person he missed. With gontai, he continued his steps towards the school parking lot.

It didn't feel like his steps had reached the school yard. He breathed heavily. It was sad to have to go home alone. When his steps were close to his motorbike, suddenly his eyes caught the figure he was looking for. However, there was something strange about Khalisha. Khalisha continued to stand in front of a car. The car door was wide open. From where he stood, he could see that my friend Khalisha told him to come in. Curious, he decided to approach them.

Mayang looked at the confused Khalisha. The car door was wide open, but Khalisha did not enter.

"Lis, what's wrong with you? Come, in!" tell it.

Khalisha was silent. Not one bit he moved to get in the car. Both of his eyes looked blankly. The shadow of his past began to fill his mind.

Mayang is getting confused. He shook his shoulders slowly Khalisha. However, Khalisha did not respond at all.

"Lis, what's wrong with you? Don't you want me to take you home?" tanyanya disappointed. He wanted to bring Khalisha home. That way, he could tell where Khalisha lived. All this time, Khalisha never told him her home address.

Daniel who was getting closer to Khalisha was shocked when he saw clearly Khalisha's face that looked pale. He also took Khalisha by the hand. Justright. Khalisha fell in his arms. His body looks weak.

Seeing that, Mayang immediately stared in shock. He did not pay attention to Khalisha. At the same time in class, Khalisha looked fine.

"Lis, what's wrong with you?" tanyanya panic.

"It is better to put your friend in the car. We're taking him to the hospital now" Papa Mayang suggested approaching Khalisha.

"Truely my Papa said. Put Khalisha in the car!" get Mayang.

Khalisha, who heard this, held Daniel's hand. Hand trembling. Both of his eyes were glazed to hold back his tears so as not to fall.

Daniel did not understand what Khalisha said. But from his current words and condition, he can conclude that Khalisha had a trauma related to the car. Seeing Khalisha's condition, he felt unable to force the frightened Khalisha to get into the car.

His gaze then turned to Mayang. "You better go home. Let Khalisha take care of me."

"But, Daniel—"

"Let Khalisha take care of me. Didn't you see she was scared when you told her to get in your car?" cut Daniel fast.

"What he said was right, May. We better get home. Your friend was afraid to get in our car. Your friend let the boyfriend first," said papa Mayang gave understanding to his daughter. He was also worried about Khalisha's condition.

Mayang also did not have the heart to see the condition of Khalisha. Khalisha's hand continued to tremble holding Daniel's hand. Rather than Khalisha getting worse, it was better that he let Khalisha be with Daniel.

"Yes, Pa. Yuk, we're home!" said Mayang finally, "Lis, I go home first, yes. Daniel, please take care of Khalisha."

"You just calm down. I must take care of Khalisha" replied Daniel.

With a heavy heart, Mayang got into the car. He breathed heavily. At a time like this, he could do nothing. He also regretted that he had forced Khalisha.

Daniel looked at Khalisha with a sad look. When he chose, he preferred Khalisha who was silent with her flat face compared to Khalisha who kept holding her with a frightened face.

"Lis, let's get up! Your friend Mayang is gone" he said, trying to wake Khalisha up.

"Daniel, don't let my mom and dad get in the car! Tell them to come out" Khalisha said. His mind kept on thinking about his past.

"Conscious, Lis! There's no father or mother."

Khalisha could not finally cloud her tears. With her hand still holding Daniel's hand, Khalisha wept. He did not care at all about the gazes of the disciples who started to look at him.

Without Khalisha's consent, Daniel took Khalisha to the UKS. In addition to not wanting to be a spectacle, he also wanted to calm Khalisha. Just this time he saw Khalisha as weak as this.

"Eh, wait! Don't shut it down!" he shouted to prevent a student who was about to close the door of UKS.

The student turned his eyes to Daniel. "But it's time to go home."

"If you want to go home, go home. Give keys! I'll lock the door. Tomorrow I return the key to you here" Daniel said firmly.

"But—"

"Don't you see? He's like this and needs to calm down here. Quickly give me the key!" daniel was upset. He looked at the student.

Fearfully, the student gave Daniel the key to the UKS. He walked away from Daniel a little quickly.

Daniel immediately went in and laid Khalisha's body on the bed. He looked around him. No drinks left. He opened Khalisha's bag. Just like in her bag, there was no drink in Khalisha's bag.

"Lis, I'll buy you a drink for a second."

Khalisha was holding Daniel's hand. "Don't go! Please, don't go!"

Daniel could not bear to see Khalisha. He decided to buy a drink for her. He sat down and stared at Khalisha, letting Khalisha calm himself.

"What is the real reason, Lis? Have you ever had a bad accident related to a car? Can you tell me the same story, Lis?" ask in the heart.
