"Lis, we're going to the cafeteria, yuk! Tired of it from earlier in the class continues," asked Mayang.
"Where are you going?" ask Khalisha. To be honest, he himself was also bored in class.
"Where is it. The important thing is not here," said Mayang, "yuk, Lis, we're out! I'm really bored here."
Khalisha took a breath. Although he had not known Mayang for long, he slowly began to get used to Mayang's attitude. Sometimes, he saw Mayang acting mature. However, when he feels bored or again there is a desire, Mayang can be childish. Good thing, Mayang never forced his will. And what he likes most about Mayang, Mayang never once distinguished himself who is poor with his friends who are the average child of the rich.
Since befriending him, Mayang often gets ridicule from Siska and Dita. Sometimes, he felt guilty for Mayang. If Mayang is not friends with him, Mayang may still be friends with Siska and Dita. He won't get any taunts from them either. But that's how Mayang is. Although often ridiculed by Siska and Dita, Mayang still behave normally. Never once had he been affected by their ridicule, as if their ridicule was the wind past. Seeing the attitude of Mayang who had always been friendly to him, he was very grateful to get to know and become one of his friends.
"I want to go to the library. I haven't read a novel in a long time. Maybe there's a new novel there" Khalisha said excitedly.
"I just found out you like to read novels" said Mayang rather surprised. Another thing he learned from Khalisha. "It's so good to read a novel? I never read a novel. It's all written. There's no picture."
"If there is a picture of it, it's called a comic. If the novel is written all in it," Khalisha said.
"Yes too, yes," said Mayang smiling slightly, "but really exciting not to read a novel? I borrowed someone's novel. Just saw the first page was lazy to read it. That's why I never touch a novel again."
"It depends on us actually. Not everyone likes to read novels. Because it is not a hobby of reading, the first page is also new, must have been lazy to read it," he explained, "if you want, you can try to read it first until it runs out. Not half the reading. If I was the usual one, it was really exciting. I can sometimes live the story."
"Geez, all that. How many days does it usually take to read a novel?" ask Mayang curious.
"Typically two days two novels."
"Well, I think two novels in one day" Mayang said.
"It does, too. But what else. If I read a novel all day, my grandmother could be angry because she does not remember the time. I'm going to have to study and help my grandmother sell cakes" Khalisha said, "oh yeah, don't want to go to the bus? You haven't been in class."
"Of course I'm coming," replied Mayang enthusiastically. He got up and said, "We're going to the bus now, yuk!"
Unexpectedly, Mayang immediately agreed with Khalisha's invitation. All he knew was that Mayang rarely went to the library. He prefers to spend his rest in the cafeteria. He got up and walked out of class. However, while on the doorstep of the classroom, he crosses paths with Siska and Dita.
"Review, beware, the nerd will pass by," sneered Siska smiled cynically.
"Pity you, May. Your taste is so low like this," continued Dita mocking.
Mayang stared intently at Siska and Dita. He really does not like their arrogant nature and likes to insult others. When he thought about it, he regretted being friends with them. Fortunately, his nature did not change as they did.
"Just talk to you!" mayang snarled his emotions.
"Emang is so the reality. Ever since you became friends with this nerd, you've changed. You don't like hanging out with us anymore. What the hell is he great? If the lack is a lot," said Siska did not accept being yelled at.
Hearing Siska's words, Mayang smiled cynically. "Khalisha is a great man. He is kind, hardworking, and hardworking. Not like you guys are spoiled and arrogant. Without your parents, you are nothing. You're just mama's and papa's kids asking for money."
"Your path, May. You can say that to us" said Siska feeling humiliated.
"I'm confused about you, Sis. As far as I know, Khalisha never looked for trouble with you. Why don't you like her so much?" Mayang seemed to think of something. Suddenly, he smiled mockingly. "Ah, don't you envy Khalisha?"
"Iri said? I envy the nerds? Why do I envy him," said Siska evasive.
"Khalisha is smart. He's always the first champion in class."
The person being talked about instead seemed bored to hear their chatter. "Have not talked enough? I want to go to the perpus. Are you coming or not, May? If not, I'm leaving now."
"Wait, I'm coming." Mayang then stepped away along with Khalisha, leaving behind Siska and Dita who were still standing in the doorway of the classroom. Honestly, he was lazy when lingering with them. It's always hot. Every time he met, his work was always noisy.
The longer, the more convinced Mayang that Siska actually envied Khalisha. I don't know what makes a Siska who is popular in school can envy Khalisha. I don't know. For now, he was lazy to think about it.

The school bell for class signs has not yet sounded. Khalisha and Mayang walked leisurely towards the library. Both eyes of Khalisha occasionally glanced towards Mayang. He could not believe that there was someone beside him. There was never in his mind that there would be a day when he would no longer be alone at school. For him, passing his days at school without any problems until graduation is important. As much as possible he obeyed the rules at school to avoid problems. He did not care if he would be alone without a friend by his side. However, the thing that he had always believed seemed to be broken by Mayang's attitude that did not give up on being friends with him. Although his facial expression was always flat, but in his heart, he was very happy and grateful to be able to meet people as good as Mayang.
Arriving at the library, Khalisha headed straight for a long shelf containing a row of novels. Mayang followed Khalisha and looked at him. Khalisha loved to read novels. The proof alone, when he arrived at the bookcase containing the novel, Khalisha immediately focused on choosing the novel she wanted to read.
Both eyes Mayang looked amazed to see a row of novels that were the same as many textbooks. He found out that the novel had many genres.
"Where do you want to read?" tanyanya's confused.
Khalisha then took one of the novels, then showed it to Mayang. "I want to read this one."
"Lately I've loved reading this one again" said Khalisha, eager to read it, "which one do you want to read?"
Mayang stared at the novels. He seemed confused as to which one to read. Rather than dizzy to choose which one, he took it carelessly.
Seeing that Mayang had picked up the novel, Khalisha sat in a chair close to the glass window of the library. Without saying much, Mayang sat beside Khalisha. He started reading the first page of the novel he had chosen.
As they were engrossed in reading novels, someone suddenly just sat down beside them. Both of his eyes were staring at them.
Mayang who was tired of reading, rested his eyes by looking around him. When he saw Khalisha, he saw a man staring at Khalisha.
"Why do you see Khalisha?" tegur Mayang's.
Khalisha who was engrossed in reading the novel was shocked to hear Mayang's voice. He then looked to Mayang.
"What's up, May?"
"That's Lis, that guy sitting next to you from earlier look at you continue" said Mayang.
Khalisha also turned to the man who meant Mayang. His face looks familiar. Apparently, he had met her.
"You're Khalisha, right?"
"Yes. You you?" ask Khalisha to remember.
"This is Andhika, Daniel's friend. We met at Daniel's. You remember, right?" andhika was happy. He never thought he would meet the girl Daniel liked in the library.
"I remember" answered Khalisha briefly, then returned to her novel.
Andhika could not believe seeing Khalisha's attitude towards her. It was like seeing Daniel in a girl. He looks cold and doesn't care about anyone else. Daniel could have liked the girl sitting next to him. Apparently, they both have almost the same nature.
"I heard you didn't stay at Daniel's house anymore?" ask Andhika.
"Yes" Khalisha replied without taking her eyes off.
Andhika smiled clumsyly. "If you may know, what relationship do you have with Daniel? Are you Daniel's girlfriend?"
"No. I'm his assistant."
"Oh. Why do you want to be Daniel's maid?" andhika asked trying to find information.
"I accidentally broke the android. That's why I accepted the offer. In addition to replacing the android, I also need money."
Silently Andhika stared in admiration at Khalisha. Rarely are there girls who want to work while at school. He also dared to take responsibility for his actions. Khalisha was different from the girls who approached her.
"What do you think Daniel is?" ask Andhika curious. He wanted to hear Khalisha's opinion of Daniel.
"Good." That's the only word that came out of Khalisha's mouth.
Andhika was a bit upset. Khalisha was really stingy getting the words out. Khalisha did not even look at her who was inviting her to chat. He really felt faced with Daniel.
"Do you have the same feelings as Daniel?"
Hearing the question, Khalisha closed the novel she was reading. He looked coldly at Andhika. It seemed, he was beginning to be troubled by Andhika's existence.
Andhika who got that look became goosebumps. This time he was scared by a girl. Strangely, however, he felt Khalisha's eyes look similar to someone's. Only, he did not know what kind of eyes he looked at.
"What do you mean ask like that?" ask Khalisha coldly.
"I just want to know. You see, Daniel has never been close to any girl other than you," replied Andhika reasoned.
"Oh. Just plain," answered Khalisha.
Andhika was running out of questions. Facing Khalisha really made his brain become a dead end. Khalisha is a really special girl. He's not like his fans who are approachable. It took a lot of effort for Daniel to melt Khalisha's heart.
Mayang was only a spectator between Khalisha and Andhika. He did not dare to interrupt their conversation. But still, curiosity haunted his mind. He did not think that Khalisha befriended one of the popular boys at his school. Her friend this one is really a lucky girl.
