PROVISIONAL

"Daniel, this is for you" Khalisha said, giving her a small container, "that's what I can make. Think of it as my birthday present. It's a little late because I should have given it last night. But, I hope you like."

Khalisha's words this morning were still on her mind. Because of that too, throughout the lessons of Mr. Rendra, Daniel could not focus at all. He kept holding his smile. Today, her heart feels so full of happy flowers.

The school bell sign of rest finally rang out loud. Mr. Rendra also stopped his learning. After giving the task to his students, Mr. Rendra picked up a bag and some books on the teacher's desk, then left the classroom.

Unlike his classmates who flocked to the cafeteria, Daniel still sat quietly in his chair. He was not at all influenced to go to the cafeteria like the others. He is still engrossed in his daydreams.

Micah slowly approached Daniel. Countless of them were disappointed by Daniel. But strangely, instead of staying away from Daniel, he was not at all determined to approach a man who clearly never considered his existence.

"Daniel, we're going to the cafeteria together, yuk!" bring Micah.

No answer was heard from Daniel's mouth. Daniel still ignored him, causing his heart to hurt again. Many fans of Daniel's girl who changed direction because they could not stand the cold nature, but different from Micah. He remained by Daniel's side despite being constantly ignored.

"Daniel, we're going to the cafeteria together, yuk!" bring again.

Daniel finally looked at Micah. However, his eyes were so cold. He seemed to dislike Micah's existence.

"Can't you bother me? If you want to go to the cafeteria, go to the canteen yourself. Don't take me, " said Daniel annoyed.

"Kok you're so the same as me, Niel? Why do you always reject my call?" micah asked disappointed.

"Because I don't like you. So please, don't bother me!" sahut Daniel without further ado.

It hurts to hear the words of Daniel. Both of his eyes seemed to be teary-eyed holding back his tears. He never thought that all this time Daniel considered him a bully. All this time, he really liked Daniel. But apparently, his love was clapping one hand.

"Why don't you like me? What do I do to make you like me?"

"Reason, huh? I have no reason. I really don't like you. You don't have to do anything to make me like you. You're just gonna make me feel sad" said Daniel coldly, "oh yeah, say the same to your other friends, don't come near me again. I don't like it."

Micah could no longer hold back his tears. It is hard to accept the reality. Without saying anything else, he stepped away from the classroom.

Nathan sighed at the unpleasant sight. He was eager to advise Daniel on his rude behavior. However, Micah is a good girl. He even watched every time Daniel played. It was not appropriate for him to receive such treatment from Daniel. But unfortunately, none of his advice has been heard by Daniel. Daniel was still cold with sometimes hurtful talk.

"Well, you're bad, Niel. So much for your talk. The child of the people you make a cry," Bayu chirped suddenly.

"Yes, Niel. Your talk was too much with Micah. Micah will be fine with you, as if you reject it well. Don't be rude," said Andhika trying to advise, "you better samperin him, and then apologize."

"Biarin. If not, he will continue to stick me," said Daniel did not care.

"Do you feel guilty at all?" ask Andhika curious.

"No" replied Daniel spontaneously.

When this happened, Andhika and Bayu could not say anything more. Daniel is stubborn. It's very hard to tell.

"Niel!" call Nathan and pat Daniel on the shoulder.

Daniel looked in shock at Nathan. His mind was hovering somewhere by being forced to return to the real world. He looked annoyed at Nathan who had disturbed his beautiful daydream.

"Niel, why don't you get your books in the bag? Didn't you go to the cafeteria?" nathan asked curiously.

Andhika and Bayu now stand beside Nathan. Just waiting for Daniel, they'll go to the cafeteria.

"Why are you two talking? Yuk, to the canteen! I'm hungry" asked Bayu.

"You go to the cafeteria. I'm not coming" said Daniel casually. His hands began to put his books into the bag.

"Tumben really don't you go to the cafeteria? You're not hungry? My stomach has been rumbling since then" asked Bayu.

"I brought stock. So if you want to go to the cafeteria, you go to the canteen. I'm not coming."

Both Nathan, Andhika, and Bayu were both shocked by what they had just heard. They do not believe that Daniel who is anti bring food because they consider it embarrassing, today brought food supplies.

"You're lying, right? The Daniel I knew never brought food. You said it was embarrassing yourself" Nathan said in disbelief.

"Yes, Niel. You can't bring supplies, can you?" ask Andhika also can't believe it.

"Well, that must be your wits, right, Niel? Tell me if you don't want to hang out with us in the cafeteria. Say it directly. Do not use the reason to bring all supplies," continued Bayu guess.

Daniel took a breath. Seeing his three friends who did not believe him, Daniel finally took out a small container from his bag. Actually, he did not want to show Khalisha's provisions in front of his three friends. He wanted to enjoy the cake Khalisha had made for him. However, instead of making Nathan, Andhika, and Bayu misunderstand, he would not want to show it.

"You guys saw it for yourself, right? Go there!" sahut Daniel expelled.

Both Nathan, Andhika, and Bayu were staring lazily. Now they understood why Daniel refused their call. The provisions brought by Daniel must have come from Khalisha. If not, he won't bring food to school.

"It's like a nice cake, Niel. Share dong. I want to try" said Bayu prank. As before, he knew that Daniel would never let him taste it, even if it was just one cookie.

"Buy in the canteen! This is mine" said Daniel coldly.

"Not to put on that face. I was just kidding. I know, Khalisha's only you can eat," said Bayu stopped his puckery, "if we go to the cafeteria first."

Nathan, Andhika, and Bayu finally leave the classroom. They no longer bother Daniel. Increasingly, they could see a change in Daniel's attitude. Khalisha is a great girl. He can make people as cold as Daniel change.

Seeing that his three best friends were gone, Daniel opened his lunch. One by one the cakes he ate. He never imagined he would get a birthday present. Khalisha's cake was the first gift she received after all these years. Although it did not look like an expensive cake, his heart was very happy because the person who made it was Khalisha.
