"Sorry, Dek. I can't accept you working here. It's just a small shop. Mom can't pay your salary. I've also got someone to help here."

That was the answer Khalisha received from some of the shop owners she applied for. He sighed. Finding a job is not as easy as he imagined. Plus, his status is still a student makes his job application rejected outright.

Sunlight feels stinging on the skin. Khalisha continued to walk along the road. Sometimes he wiped the sweat that poured soaked his forehead, then returned to pay attention to the shops on the side of the road. But unfortunately, what he was looking for did not get him. Even so, his face still did not show any expression. The expression of his face that is always flat, certainly makes no one know how he really feels.

Daniel stopped his bike in front of a cafe. Seeing Daniel stop the speed of the bike, Nathan, Andhika, and Bayu also stopped their bike.

"So, are we gonna hang out here?" nathan looked at the glass window of the cafe.

No answer was heard from Daniel's mouth. He is still sitting on the bike with his hands still holding the helmet. His two eyes did not look at the cafe at all, but at a girl who was walking leisurely.

"Niel! Daniel!" call Nathan to pat Daniel on the shoulder.

Daniel looked surprised. She said, "What the hell are you, Than? Ngagetin aja. What if my heart is broken? Do you want responsibility?"

"Yes, Niel. It's aja ngambek. Like a girl," Nathan said, "some of you are also strange. Instead of getting us inside, it's hot in here."

"If you want to go in, go in first. Don't use the show waiting for me" Daniel said without looking at Nathan.

"Well, you're the one who made us come here. The time we entered first was not with you? We come here together."

"Udah speaking? Don't be a prank! You just go in there" said Daniel ketus.

Andhika suddenly patted Nathan on the shoulder, then said, "Udah, Than. Let's go in first. Daniel will follow us. We don't have to fuss here."

"Yes. Than. Yuk, in! We have been standing here for a long time. I don't want my skin to be black again because of the time to sunbathe here," continued Bayu while fanning his face with a hat.

"Yes if you want it to be so," Nathan said resignedly. "Niel, we're in first. Remember that! Don't be too late here!"

Daniel did not respond at all to the words of his three friends. His eyes were not a second apart from all the movements of the girl who became his target. Different from Daniel, Nathan, Andhika, and Bayu finally stepped foot into the cafe. Although confused by Daniel's attitude, they did not want to linger outside the cafe which was very hot.

Khalisha's footsteps stopped right in front of a cafe. From the front glass window of the cafe, he could see the crowds of visitors who came to meet the available table. Although the weather is very hot outside, it does not seem to hinder the intention of visitors to come to the cafe. Somehow, there was a doubt he felt when he wanted to enter the cafe. Given some of his rejected job applications and his current status as a student, he was not sure if he would be accepted to work there.

"Hi, weird girl. Finally we meet again" said Daniel.

Khalisha did not give Daniel a word. He stared flat, maybe more precisely lazy to meet back with the annoying guy who had hit him. Instead of taking care of the unimportant, he chose to rush to apply for a job to help his grandparents at home. Without saying anything, he passed Daniel. However, just a few steps towards the door of the cafe, his steps came to a halt as Daniel blocked his path.

"You wanna hang out here?" ask Daniel in curiosity.

"It's none of your business."

"Hey, don't jutek that dong. I just want it all right. I'm Daniel. What's yourname?"

"Hey, what's your name?" tanyanya back. He's a little upset. The girl seemed not interested in meeting him.

"Khalisha," he answered briefly. Although his expression was flat, the look in his eyes showed dislike for Daniel's presence. "Already, right? Move aside! I'm going through."

Daniel stared in disbelief. Khalisha, the strange girl who is currently in front of him is indeed different from the girls he has always known. He did not have any pleasantries when talking to her, just like when he first met. Instead of being angry with the girl's attitude, he was even more challenged to get to know Khalisha.

Seeing that Daniel was just staring at him, Khalisha moved her legs back past Daniel. He did not want to waste his precious time just serving Daniel. He just wanted to quickly apply for a job at the cafe. If his proposal is rejected again, he can immediately go home so that his grandmother and grandfather do not suspect. Khalisha kept it a secret to her grandparents. When he spoke, it was certain that his grandparents would not allow him to work.

The Khalisha movement made Daniel aware of his daydream. He stepped back to prevent Khalisha from entering the cafe.

"Surge!" Khalisha stared confusedly, not understanding Daniel's way of thinking.

"That's rushed. Do you really want to hang out inside?"

"That's none of your business. Move aside! I'm going in."

"If so, how about you hang out with me? You just calm down. I'm the deal," persuade Daniel to be confident. He was convinced that Khalisha would accept his invitation.

"thank you. But sorry, I didn't come here to hang out. Then excuse me first" Khalisha said, not going into the cafe.

With a heavy heart, Khalisha must return home immediately. He's been gone too long. Fearfully, his grandparents will go looking for him. All this because of Daniel. He's a real bitch. If not for it, he can try to include a job application in the cafe.

"Hey, where are you going? You didn't go inside?" daniel followed Khalisha.

Khalisha did not respond to Daniel. He kept walking, leaving Daniel, who followed him behind. Meanwhile, Nathan, Andhika, and Bayu stared in disbelief at what they had just witnessed. Since entering the cafe, both of their eyes were engrossed in watching Daniel who was seen in the glass window of the cafe. They were both surprised by Daniel's attitude towards a girl. Just this time, Daniel was seen talking at length, even to the extent of following him.

"I didn't think Daniel could be that girl. You guys don't know girls?" andhika asked her two best friends.

"No," replied Bayu, "if you, Than? You're closest to Daniel."

"I don't know either. Even I just saw a girl this time," Nathan replied, sipping his orange ice.

"You can't know. Daniel did not have a story with you," asked Bayu rather surprised.

"Daniel is not a story at all. But it's great, too, girl. Just this time I saw Daniel like that."

"I think we should find out about girls. Count the help of Daniel," Andhika proposed suddenly. He still smiled amusedly at Daniel's attitude.

Both Nathan and Bayu agree with Andhika's proposal. It is rare for them to see firsthand his best friend who is always cold with others can be attracted to a girl. No matter how pretty his face was, Daniel was still cold and ignored them. They even gave up because of Daniel's nature. But this time, the scene they saw was very different from usual. That girl is great. He could make a Daniel follow him.
