Take My Heart's

Take My Heart's
ANNIVERSARY

"Lis, accompany me!" take Daniel suddenly.

Khalisha shut down her studies. He looked in shock at the door of his room that was wide open. So focused on learning, he did not realize there was someone entering his room. Fortunately, he is currently studying. If he was taking a bath or taking a nap, he would definitely be very embarrassed by Daniel's presence in his room.

"Lah bengong. Follow me!" Daniel snorted in annoyance. Instead of approaching him immediately, Khalisha sat quietly looking at him.

"Where are you going?" khalisha asked in confusion. Daniel doesn't usually take him for a walk in the afternoon.

"Later you will know, too" said Daniel with a small smile, "yuk, walk! If we don't leave now, we'll go back home again."

Daniel took his foot out of Khalisha's room. He played with the key in his hand. For some reason, he wanted Khalisha to accompany him to his favorite place. Maybe because he was getting used to Khalisha's presence in his house.

Khalisha took a breath. He had no choice but to follow what his master wanted. He got up from his chair and followed Daniel. Honestly, he was very lazy to go out of the house. He would rather spend his time studying in his room than walking around somewhere.

The motor runs fast for about 40 minutes. During that time, Khalisha held tightly to Daniel's jacket. His eyelids are tightly closed. The calm that he had been showing under any circumstances, for this afternoon did not apply at all. Along with the speed of Daniel's motorbike, his heart kept racing. Fear now ruled his entire body.

It was the first time Khalisha had seen Daniel riding a motorcycle at such high speed. Usually leaving and going home from school, Daniel rode his motorcycle casually. His attitude was not like the Daniel he knew. In his fear, he still had time to think of Daniel. He wondered what was going on with Daniel at this time.

Daniel finally stopped his bike. His eyes then looked around him, then released the helmet that was stuck in his head. However, when he turned around to remove Khalisha's helmet, he looked shocked to see Khalisha closing her eyes with her hand tightly holding her jacket. A smile involuntarily flashed on his lips. Just this time he saw another expression from Khalisha, a look of fear rarely seen on his face.

"Lis, open your eyes! We have arrived" he said, releasing the helmet on Khalisha's head.

Khalisha opened her eyelids. His eyes were flowing around him. Confused, it was probably the right word with what he felt at the moment. He didn't understand why Daniel took him to such a good place.

"You must be scared, huh? Sorry, Lis. Later I will not speed again," said Daniel felt guilty. He forgot that Khalisha was with him.

"It's okay" Khalisha said slowly.

"By the way, can you not take my jacket off?" daniel smiled a little.

Khalisha let go of her hand. He began to control himself. His heart was pounding, slowly returning to normal. So afraid, he did not realize that Daniel had reached his destination.

Daniel got off the bike immediately. Without waiting for Khalisha, he walked slowly towards the edge of the lake. He smiled a little. Every time he looked at the lake, his longing for his childhood was slightly healed.

Despite not understanding what Daniel was doing now, Khalisha chose to follow wherever Daniel went. He was standing right next to his master. Both of his eyes glanced at Daniel. Daniel was silent. Both of his eyes seemed to be enjoying the scene that was in front of him. Actually, he wanted to ask Daniel the reason he took her to the lake. However, looking at Daniel's expression, he paled his curiosity. He doesn't want to bother Daniel for now.

He turned his eyes towards the lake. Maybe because of the calm lake water, he also felt calm. Khalisha started enjoying this afternoon. The breeze of the faint wind teased her, stroking each of her long black hair. This was the first time he had come to the lake. A quiet sight, this suited him perfectly.

The silence of those who came to the lake had no effect on Daniel and Khalisha. Both Daniel and Khalisha looked at the lake. Daniel suddenly sighed, then picked up the pebble that was in front of his right foot and threw it towards the lake. The calm lake water is now decorated with small ripples, making both eyes of Khalisha interested to see it.

"Why did you throw a rock into the lake?" khalisha asked in confusion.

"I again threw one of my bad memories into the lake," Daniel answered gently looking at Khalisha. He took the stone again, and gave it to Khalisha, saying, "Would you give it a try?"

"Well, can that really throw away bad memories?" khalisha did not believe it.

"Just try it."

"Where, Lis?" daniel smiled a little.

"I don't feel anything" Khalisha said honestly.

"Why doesn't this work for you?" daniel asked, still thinking about the unsuccessful way to Khalisha, "do you have a lot of bad memories?"

"That's it. Do not need to be discussed," said Khalisha evaded. He didn't want to talk about things that were related to his memories, "by the way, you brought me here just want to throw a stone?"

Instead of answering his question, Daniel sat down. His eyes looked back at the calm lake. How strange. Khalisha had never seen Daniel like this.

"Daniel!" call slowly.

Daniel breathed heavily, then said, "Little time, my father and mother always invited me here every time I had my birthday. We usually have a picnic here. My mom must have prepared a little cake with a candle on it. I remember when we laughed together. My papa and I often fight throwing stones at the lake. My papa said, if I have a memory that I want to throw away, let's just say that the stone I threw was a bad memory. When we throw it in the lake, it means we throw away our bad memories. But over time, they get busy with their work. They rarely go home, let alone take their time for me. Every birthday, I'm alone. They don't remember me anymore."

Khalisha did not know what to say. All this time he always thought that people who have a lot of money must be happy. It never crossed his mind that Daniel, whose status as a child of the rich, turned out his life was not as happy as it seemed.

"But this afternoon I'm really happy. You know why?" daniel asked who made Khalisha shake her head slowly, "because this afternoon I came here not alone."

"Obviously you are not alone here, you make me come," said Khalisha somewhat annoyed.

"How else. I want you to stay here" said Daniel somewhat embarrassed.

"Oh yeah, you said that you come here every birthday, right?" ask Khalisha.

"Yes, why?" daniel asked confused.

"That means your friends should be here. Where are they now? How come there's no samperin you here?" Khalisha looked around. Of the many visitors who came, no one came to Daniel.

"No need to wander! My friends no one knows my birthday and this place" he replied casually.

Khalisha was shocked to hear that. Again he did not understand the way of Daniel's mind. Daniel had many friends. It would be more exciting if birthdays are celebrated together with his friends. However, Daniel did not give his birthday to his friends. He chose to celebrate alone.

"You didn't say happy birthday to me. I'm going to have a birthday now" Daniel asked.

"You're weird, Niel. You're a birthday, but why don't you tell your friends? Why did you come here by birthday alone?" khalisha asked confused.

"It's okay. I want him to know my birthday and this place is a special person" Daniel said, staring intently at Khalisha.

"It's up to you" said Khalisha, not dizzy with Daniel's words, "but happy birthday. I'm sorry, I don't give you anything."

"It's okay. I'm so glad you're with me here."

It was a special afternoon for Daniel. How not. On his birthday this time, he was accompanied by a girl who slowly entered his heart. Although there was no papa and his mother by his side, at least his loneliness was slightly relieved by the existence of Khalisha. He smiled happily. He was very grateful to have met Khalisha.
