Letter From Alina

Since Alina's death, Sania has become very shy. Doctor Marta as her close friend did not even dare to interrupt her time even though Sania was not at work, she chose to give him time to calm himself down.

" Shhh.. Doctor Sania is so sorry, yes. He's been trusted to handle professor Ryan's niece but he didn't make it."

" I think because he's Professor Ryan's golden boy he's as great as people say."

" However he hasn't got his degree officially, why is professor Ryan expecting so much from him."

Doctor Marta breaks the table as some of the doctors who are having lunch gather while gossiping about Sania.

" hey.. You guys can't talk a little slower. I even the ones far away can smell the unpleasant smell from here and make my appetite disappear." doctor Marta reprimanded with her ferocious face.

" Doctor Marta, what the hell is your problem with us?."

" What are you guys having trouble with Sania? You should have sympathized with him but instead talked about him behind the back. You're a lot more senior than him but don't demean him like that just because Professor Ryan prefers the way he works to you."

Doctor Marta turned around and left the doctors after making a scene in the psychiatric center cafeteria. " Sania professor Ryan and Alina's mother are on their way here."

Ryna gestures to professor Ryan and Marta understands that so she follows professor Ryan to move and make room for the two men.

" Doctor Sania, I heard during the treatment with you Alina made a lot of progress. I haven't thanked you for that."

" You don't thank me, because I can't even help her."

Ryna then grabs Sania's hand and holds it in her lap.

" I know you must be as devastated as we are as your family. But I hope you don't blame yourself because everything that happens is Alina's choice."

" Yes, madam. Thank you for accepting my shortcomings as doctor Alina."

Ryna took a long breath. His eyes were bright and Sania could see the sadness still very clearly radiated on his face.

" I only realized after Alina left that the way we loved her was wrong from the beginning. If anyone is to blame of course it is me because I am the cause of him having his mental disorder. I thought I was doing my best for him but all I did was hurt him. I was too stupid to be treated arbitrarily by Papa Alina, I thought as long as I survived I would be able to protect her but in the end her guilt took her life. If only I had fought back then maybe he would still be with me."

Sania shed her tears upon hearing the words of Mama Alina.

" But now that my eyes are wide open, I've lost the only thing I want to protect. Alina's courage gave me strength so I'm going to get divorced from my husband and live to be who I want to be like Alina's always wanted to be."

Ryna smiled bitterly with teary eyes. Sania really did not expect that Alina's mother was so strong and strong all this time to endure all her pain just for Alina's sake. And so did Alina she even sacrificed her life just to make her parents aware of her mistake, what a very brave child.

" I'm very concerned about what you've been going through all this time. I just found out not long ago from the pictures in Alina's book."

Ryna took out a paper from inside her coat. He finally said goodbye after saying all the things he wanted to say to Sania.

Dear doctor Sania,

By the time you read this letter I might have been in a beautiful and pleasant place. Doctor, thank you for making me realize that I am innocent. Thank you for always saying I'm good enough and always a good listener. Now I can go with no burden and all this is thanks to you. I'm sorry for having to go this way but the doctor don't hate me..

The doctor will probably grieve and blame yourself but I hope you understand this decision I made...

If only I could get to know you earlier maybe I'd be so happy to have such great friends, brother and doctor like you.

Sania smiled but still her tears came out first. He then flipped the paper and in the back of the page was Sania's face drawn by Alina. Sania was moved because in the last seconds of her life it turned out that Alina was still thinking about it. I don't know why his heart was warm and his burden seemed to just disappear after reading a letter from Alina.
