Counseling Sessions

The sound of incoming messages was heard from Sania's phone. It turned out that Ezra had contacted him for the third time that day.

It's my dinner today. Don't forget to eat either.

Ezra did not forget to send a photo of the plate containing his food to Sania. Sania as usual just replied to him with a thumb emoticon or a funny sticker image.

My MCU results are done. When's sister coming home?

Did ya? I'll be home in a minute from your doctor's examination, which you also gave me earlier.

" It looks like Ezra did everything I said well. Insomnia has also changed a little."

Sania smiled happily while thinking that she could finally be useful to Ezra. The new doctor-specific training session finally finished sooner than expected so he could relax a little ahead and go home earlier than usual.

" Eventually.. I will often see the twilight sky from now on."

Sania heads to Ezra's apartment which is also where she lives now with a happy feeling. Now he can have plenty of time to take care of Ezra and deal with his health issues. If he succeeds maybe the burden on him will really disappear.

Ezra greeted Sania with a face of sumringah. He had just finished cleaning the kitchen after cooking his meal.

" Sister came home early today."

" Yes, I won't be home late at night either."

" It's good so now you can have a lot of time to study at home."

" You're right. Studying at home is more comfortable and I can focus. And most importantly now I have plenty of time to take care of you."

" yes. Brother take a shower and break my inspection report everything I've kept on the desk in your room."

" OK. I'll check it out and in an hour please take some time for me. We'll try the session I described at the time."

Ezra was silent for a moment then nodded with a smile as if agreeing to Sania's request. It was only after Sania entered her room that Ezra looked agitated.

I used the reason for my sleep disturbance to make Sis Sania by my side. But if I had to go this far, I would be able to tell her everything.

Ezra rubbed his face and went to his room.

Sania finished cleaning herself up. His hair was still wet but he was already impatient to see the reports of Ezra's examination that had piled up on his desk.

One by one, he opened the map. As Ezra said some doctors he had met since a few years ago and he also routinely did medical check-ups but the results of his examination were nothing bad. He was only diagnosed with fatigue, poor sleep patterns and mild health problems.

Sania switched to the last map and it was the result of an examination from the hospital where she worked.

" All results are good. He seems to be taking good care of his health lately. The heart is good, the other organs are also nothing to worry about, no special handling is needed for now."

Sania pensively for a while. Then he reopened the map.

" All he met were just general practitioners. I've guessed Ezra never got treatment from a psychiatrist."

An hour passed according to Sania's appointment and Ezra would conduct a question and answer session between the doctor and the patient. They do so in Ezra's room Sania chooses to make Ezra feel comfortable.

" All right, you ready? Don't worry, this is just a basic question."

" Uh? Aahs.. It's because I've only done it for the first time and you know for yourself I'm not an expert in this field."

" Then let's just say we're training."

" All right."

Sania began to ask questions and Ezra answered as well and clearly as possible about his health condition. He also looked calm and listened to the suggestions given Sania enthusiastically. Until the question arrived that made Ezra silent for a moment.

" How is your relationship with your family?."

Sania glanced over to observe Ezra's reaction. If there was something related to his family Ezra would definitely react the same. She seemed confused to answer so Sania continued her other question.

" It's over for today" Sania said.

" Have? Why so fast. Brother seems like a great doctor."

Getting such compliments Sania just smiled.

" Ezra, you said you worked at the same hospital as me. What part is it in?."

" Sister says it's over why there's still a follow-up question."

" It's not a question, I'm just curious."

" I'm just a management worker. Our buildings are far apart so we never meet."

" Oh, so is it. The hospital pays its employees and all its staff well so that's why you can buy this apartment."

" Sister forgot that my parents are rich?. It's a gift from my mama."

" Oh, your mom used to say you were the heir to the company. Then why are you working in the hospital now?."

" It's because I don't have the criteria and haven't got any ability as expected by..."

Ezra suddenly paused his words and looked at Sania who was watching him.

" What did you do to me? Are you hypnotizing me? Why am I talking about it even though I don't want to."

" Hey, my skills haven't arrived yet. You think hypnotherapy can be done in these conditions? You're stupid too hahaha."

Sania laughs and it makes Ezra happy and also grateful because the person who is precious to her is now beside her.

After talking for a long time Ezra felt sleepiness that was not as usual so he asked permission to sleep early and soon he fell asleep even though Sania was still in his room. Sania makes Ezra's room as comfortable as possible before he leaves it.

He turned on the humidifier to keep the humidity does not forget also he prepared aromatherapy candles so that Ezra more relaxed.

Before he left Sania turned off Ezra's room light. Sometimes every few hours Sania would check into her room making sure she slept just as well as the nights before.

A few weeks of doing the same Sania felt that what she did for Ezra was little to no avail. He smiles a sigh of relief when he finds out about it and gets even more excited to help Ezra overcome her insomnia.
