Shining Sunny's

Shining Sunny's
Guilt

Sania walks casually towards the hospital that will be where she works. As Ezra said throughout his journey turned out to be an elite area in the middle of a busy city.

The hospital is quite popular because most of the patients are upper class people.

Sania widened her eyes as she reached the front of the building. Its area of several hectares merges with the university which is also known as the best medical campus for the past few years. High difficulty levels to be able to enter this campus can guarantee that students who qualify are not random people.

Sania tightened her grip on the bag she was carrying. He convinced himself that he would be able to join there.

I mustn't waste this opportunity. This must be a blessing from all my hard work.

.......

Sania soaks in the bathtub to unwind after a day of tests and interviews so she can join the team of doctors at the psychiatric center of Darma hospital.

Sometimes Sania chuckles and laughs to herself when she remembers that everything is going well and she is accepted as one of the doctors there.

" Geez, I'm glad..."

Sania does not stop thanking him for his achievement but there are many things that he must think about in the future.

" Alright. I will focus on training and guidance first and then we think about the problem of residence. Let Sania guess your face for a while anyway this is Ezra's request."

Sania talked to herself while still sitting curled up in the bathtub. But the sound of the oven from the kitchen surprised him so much that he hurriedly took a towel and just walked out of his room.

" Huh.huh, thankfully, it's not so bad."

Sania forgets that before taking a bath she baked lasagna for dinner but due to the fun of the bath she forgot about it.

Brakes. The sound of falling objects makes Sania turn her head and it turns out that it was Ezra who was on the stairs with a drinking bottle that she accidentally dropped.

They looked at each other for a while. Sania who realized that she was only wearing a towel wrapped around her body panicked and immediately ran towards her room.

Why is Ezra home.

Uncareful and there were water droplets from her wet feet Sania slipped and fell on her back.

" Aakhs.."

As powerful as Sania held her towel so as not to be separated from her body she wanted to run away and cry from embarrassment many times before Ezra but for a moment she could not even move her body.

" Sister, are you okay?."

" yes. Its alright. You go so I can wake up."

Ezra breathed a sigh of relief but before that he took a blanket from the sofa and wrapped Sania's body leaving only her head.

Ezra then carried her without warning making Sania squeal in shock.

" I can do it myself. Put me down.."

" Silence if you don't want to fall."

Ezra with a flat face still carried Sania towards her room. Sania who watched Ezra's face up close only realized he was getting older because he had a firm jawline.

For the umpteenth time he felt that Ezra had indeed become a stranger to him.

" Are you sure no one's sick, brother?."

" No, I'm just surprised."

" All right, I'm out now."

" Why am I so careless. What will the boy think."

Sania who realized her carelessness could only curse herself inwardly but it was of no use because after she was done getting dressed even Sania had to still meet Ezra.

When Sania came out of her room, Ezra was preparing dinnerware.

The lasagna that Sania had made was arranged into their plates. Seeing Ezra acting normal Sania became calmer he approached her and sat down opposite her.

" It's the first time since 8 years we've eaten together again."

" Ah, yes you are right." Sania replied awkwardly.

" How's brother doing over there? I haven't even been able to contact you for 8 years."

Ezra continued, but his eyes were fixed on the food in front of him.

" b-good. I'm good."

Sania looked down because she did not think Ezra would make the atmosphere between them turn awkward.

" Thank God, then."

" Then you?."

Ezra fell silent upon hearing Sania's question. He looked at her who was also looking at him for answers.

" A lot has happened to me since you left. I even want to forget it if I can because the things that happened to me are too stifling to remember."

Sania frowned hearing Ezra's ambiguous speech. Every word was always implied sadness and his expression looked angry.

Her guilt re-emerges in light of her last memories with the bad Ezra.

" Ezra, I'm sorry at the time.me.."

" Sister doesn't need to feel guilty for me because it's not entirely your fault either. But because of the promise I made to you I was finally able to survive to this day."

" Promise?."

" Promise to return to my family and now here I am to this day."

Sania was almost speechless because of Ezra's words. What might be that the life he had lived all along was not what he had expected after leaving her.

What could he still receive his kindness after avoiding him for so many years without knowing the news. A change in Ezra that he never thought possible because of his disappointment in Sania.

The questions kept spinning in her head until Sania was no longer able to hold back her guilt for treating Ezra without caring about her feelings.

" Hiks.."

" Sister, are you crying?."

Ezra looked at Sania who was sobbing in confusion.

" Ezra, how can I make amends to you?."

Ezra was still speechless with his flat face. Sania was not even able to look him in the eye.

" Don't say it or you'll regret knowing what I want us to break even."

Ezra put on a slanted smile and went back to bribing his food as if it was nothing. Unlike Sania he kept thinking about Ezra's words at that time.
