The Book of Al - Hikam

Imam Zeni actually also wanted to know the clarity of their situation, only Mbah Jena refused to share it with his followers, Imam Zeni thought Gus Mukhlas would be treated differently.

Gus Mukhlas and Imam Zeni then discussed some things, while Asrul chose to see the scenery from the window.

Asrul could see the residents of Mallorca living a prosperous life, much different from his experience in his previous life.

"So this is like a palace..."

Some time passed, the horse carriage finally passed through the palace gate. Asrul opened his mouth wide when he saw the grandeur of Mallorca's city palace, this was the first time in his second life, Asrul entered the palace.

"The palace is divided into several regions, we will go directly to the area that became the residence of Mbah Jena." Imam Zeni explained.

Asrul watched the surrounding situation enthusiastically, according to his estimation this Palace was even wider than Siguntang Hill. More precisely the residence Mbah Jena alone has offset the size of Siguntang Hill.

"Bah Jena will be told of your coming." The priest of Zeni suggested Gus Mukhlas and Asrul rest in the room that had been provided while waiting for Mbah Jena to call the two.

Several servants approached the two, then brought Gus Mukhlas and Asrul to the room that had been reserved for each of them.

Asrul so attracted the attention of many people because it was very rare to find a knight at his age. Asrul could feel the gazes of the servants and the embrace and whisper of those who talked about it but Asrul chose not to care much until he heard the contents of one of the conversations.

"Isn't he the young man that Princess Siti Adawiyah talks about so often?"

Asrul admitted that he was surprised when he saw that such information could be widely known, that he had a friendship with Siti Adawiyah.

"The dissemination of information in this place so quickly, it would be difficult to keep a secret in this place." Asrul shook his head slowly.

The sun was almost setting when Gus Mukhlas and Asrul reached the Palace so Asrul thought Mbah Jena would meet them tomorrow or at least at dinner time. While waiting, Asrul arranged the items in the room reserved for him.

"I think we'll stay in Mallorca until the usurpation of the throne is over..." Asrul began planning his training while in Mallorca.

One thing Asrul hoped for was that his plan relating to the Biblical Association could go as expected. Supposedly in three or four days, Asrul had already gotten word from the association.

Asrul brought out a book that he always carried with him, this book was written by himself a few years ago. This book is none other than the Book of Al Hikam copied by Asrul relying on his memory.

"This book has made countless lives lost to the martial world, but for now no one knows its value." Asrul started to open page by page.

During this time Asrul only studied 'Cultivation Formation' from the Book of Al Hikam, there are actually many other parts in this book, the inner power and quality of cultivation are only partially contained. 

Not many know it because it is among the Three Books Without Appeal, the Book of Al Hikam which has the least owner. There were only three people who had studied it including Asrul and no one had studied it perfectly.

Many have speculated that the Book of Hikam is actually the best of the Three Books of No Appeal. Asrul himself did not know the truth because he had never seen another book or anyone who studied the book other than Siti Adawiyah.

Currently the view of Asrul falls on a section called 'Aura Tasawuf'.

"In my previous life I had not studied this passage because it underestimated its usefulness, now I will not repeat the same mistake." Asrul rereads the passage 'Aura tasawwuf from the Book of Al Hikam.

The murderous aura that would appear every time someone killed and would become increasingly concentrated as the number of lives taken by someone was indeed viewed in many ways in the martial world.

To the white and straight stream, a murderous aura was not a good thing as it showed one as the owner of a bloodthirsty and ruthless character. No wonder there are several ways and knowledge experienced by white swordsmen to erode the murderous aura in their bodies there are even useful heirlooms eroding the aura.

On different black and heretical streams, the murderous aura made one even more feared and respected. Considering the world of black magic is so cruel and dangerous, killing each other has become a daily activity. It was just that for the sake of being able to travel easily, the black flow swordsmen found a way and a science to hide their murderous aura.

Asrul manages to learn how to hide a murderous aura of a high enough level from someone who came from a black stream in his previous life.

Not many warriors in the martial world knew that the murderous aura actually had a useful function in combat when one was studying the science of mind.

Among all types of martial arts, there is a branch of science called mind science which is a technique that if studied can be used to attack the opponent's mental. The existence of this type of science is so rare in the city of Mallorca that Asrul only knew this science when he had traveled for decades.

Most mind science converts a murderous aura into an invisible energy that can be used to attack others.

"I'll never forget Lucifer..." Asrul's body trembled slightly in light of his experience.

In his previous life, Asrul had faced a swordsman nicknamed Lucifer. The warrior had already killed so many innocent people and had such a dense murderous aura.

Asrul faces off against Lucifer relying on his swordplay and manages to outperform the vicious killer, but when Lucifer is desperate, Lucifer, he used a science that made his eyes turn blood red and his murderous aura seem to be an invisible sharp weapon.

Asrul's body as if being showered by hundreds of knives, his head ached and almost lost consciousness while staring at those blood-red eyes. If not for luck siding with him that day, Asrul would have been killed while confronting Lucifer.

Asrul met some more practitioners of mind science in his previous life but none as great as Lucifer.

"If I study the Sufism aura then I can turn the murderous aura into the aura of the Sufism. According to the Book of Al Hikam, the aura of Sufism will make a person look different and can be used in combat."
